The property is gorgeous and the amenities are very nice. We were there over their Christmas at the Princess and the light show was the best I have ever seen.
When we arrived our complimentary water cartons were empty. We had to call twice to get them replaced. The spa didn’t offer day passes to use their amenities so my husband wasn’t able to meet me there after his round of golf. If you want to use the spa you have to make an apt for one of their expensive services.

Absolutely beautiful for Christmas. Lights and decorations just impressive.
Our room was disappointing. Heating system not working. If we didn’t call for maid service room was left as is. Elevator outside near our room out of order 3 of 4 days of our stay

Great place!

The bed was very comfortable.
The summer theme of "retro recess" was fun, especially the Barbie Box.
The staff that we interacted with were generally nice.
The fruit plate that I ordered pool-side was fresh and delicious.
Things were dirtier/less maintained than I expected them to be, given how pretentious this resort presents itself as.
When I brought up to one staff member that there was trash around the aisle of loungers that we had chosen, he looked annoyed and suggested I sit somewhere else. I thought it would have been more appropriate to simple say thank you for letting him know and he would take care of it.
There was a questionable yuck on the bedside lamp. I chose to remove it with a Kleenex before my daughter asked questions.
There were long hairs on the bathrobes in our bathroom...before we ever even touched them.
The light knob on my bedside lamp was missing.
The latch on the sliding door existed and worked, but had a piece of electrical tape on it because the actual latch had broken.

we love everything the Faimount has to offer in a staycation. The 4th of July ceremony and activities were awesome.
We have no complaints regarding our stay. All personnel were very pleasant and helpful.

I did not get the room I paid for. booking.com is a scam. They make it impossible to find a phone number or an email to contact them once they take your money!

The Ameneties, location . Fire pits and bars. The food was decent. Not worth the price though
The room layout was very poor. I dislike the fact that everything was about upselling. The room refrigerator is packed out with overpriced drinks.. The cabinets are also packed out with overprice snacks. The rooms are a little outdated. I feel like the resort needs to go with the trend of other hotels and a sense that they use keypad rooms now instead of card keys. The customer service was not that phenomenal. When you first get there, you are greeted in a pleasant way, but other than that, it was pretty poor. Everything on the resort is overpriced. which is expected by most resorts . I'm surprised some of these resorts aren't going to all exclusive. Wish they were more like a sandals resort. I have stayed at lot of places and I would give this place a three star. It is definitely not a five-star resort. Maybe back in the day it was, but they definitely need to revamp this place.

Every restaurant was excellent. Staff was very helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs.

I liked the room we stayed in! The service thought out was good! It was a large complex! Once we got organized getting around was easy!

The Fairmont is a beautiful hotel, with a young, friendly and competent staff. I like the fact that they give guests the option to forego daily room services for environmental purposes. The spa facilities were excellent.
When we booked our room, we were not aware that we were required to purchase treatments in order to gain access to the spa during the days we stayed at the hotel. In the end we paid more than $1,000 for treatments, which were nice, but excessively expensive. We also made reservations at the two hotel restaurants. The steak at La Hacienda was better than what we ate at the Bourbon Steak House, at a fraction of the cost.

Princess is great. We have come back for a second year and will be back again. It’s one of our favorite places to spend a getaway

love love love the Privado area at the Fairmont Princess!!! it’s a 3-5 minute walk from the main lobby but the rooms were 5-star and it was actually quiet over New Year’s Eve. They threw an amazing NYE celebration as well! the staff were lovely, the grounds beautiful, there were always golf carts available to shuttle us back and forth from our casita. Their Christmas set up was fabulous with ice skating rink and lights everywhere. The pools and hot tubs were heated and enjoyable. we will definitely stay here again!
