I reserved this for my son and his new wife. They were on their honeymoon. They loved everything about Berry Springs and said the breakfast was a bonus surprise for them. They really liked it and said the food was great
Nothing. Everything was perfect!

Whilst, what we saw of Sevierville is not our kind of town, the scenic location of this property some miles into the country, is quite lovely. At places like this one meets interesting fellow travelers, some who have stayed (here) as much as 8 times.
Price to value is far out of line. At very most this is a $ 150/night value. Noisy AC, Slept with fan on only despite high temp.
Breakfast exceptionally slow, unimaginative, and we learned frequent guests unlikely to return again. Staff pleasant, trying, but seemingly out of their depth for $300 night accommodations.
We are widely traveled, my wife a former Travel Writer.

Quiet, serene, away from the “hustle and bustle” of a resort town. Very pretty.
The small rooms that looked toward the parking lot. To me, not romantic and ok if you will be gone all day or just sitting on the porch or inside reading. The breakfast was ok, but nothing “over the top”!

Location, views, amenities
The hot water only got luke warm when turned all the way

Location was wonderful. Breakfast was homemade and good.
No hot beverage available in room. Canoeing that was advertised was totally inadequate. Two very tiny ponds. A disappointment. Better not to mention.

Overall beautiful, well-kept and plenty of wildlife even had a black bear walk up on me breakfast very personal delicious with a view
Arrived and was told hotel is out of gas. We had no hot water that evening to shower or in the morning and believe it or not. I had to complain to get the hot water heaters lit. 4:30 in the afternoon we finally got to shower, very disappointed with the owner who was there and did not come speak with us to address our problem

The room, breakfast and staff were all lovely. Breathtaking view from the deck.
The hill down to the pond, etc. was very steep. I decided not to explore because of this.

Berry Springs Lodge is a little slice of heaven. The lodge is beautiful and the staff really do have that southern hospitality!
The breakfast was delicious and we got the pleasure of meeting the owner on our final morning who is so sweet! We stayed in the Holly Springs Room on our second night and I would highly recommend as there is a hot tub on the balcony and a fire in the room. It is such a special place and I would visit again in a heartbeat!
I wish we could have stayed longer

It was so refreshing finding a quiet and quaint spot away from the busyness of visiting Pigeon Forge. It was easy to find and had an amazing sunrise view over the hills. The hosts were so welcoming and a highlight was the freshly made breakfast in the morning. Comfortable room and a real haven.
Not a dislike but we struggled with the bikes so maybe they need some maintenance

beautiful location, wonderfully equipped room, delightful common areas. Delicious breakfast and evening dessert too!
Our stay was too short!

Breakfast was particularly lovely, and the views were awesome.
The advertising showed pictures of bathtubs and or hot tubs, and all we had was a shower. Huge disappointment!

Beautiful Lodge, decorated beautifully for Christmas. The Christmas tree in our room was a nice, appreciated touch. Excellent staff! SUPER clean! Comfortable room, with a balcony. Great breakfast.
Not being able to control the temperature in our room. The lodge has a central heating/cooling system. It wasn't a factor for us since it was winter, but the 72 degree set temperature would be too warm for us in summertime.

There was nothing to dislike.. fantastic place to stay!

We love how secluded it was and still close to the attractions.
The mattress was the only downfall, it was way to firm.

We enjoyed the tranquility and privacy, sounds of nature and no traffic. In our room we didn't hear anyone else unless we had our patio door open and even then we barely heard the soft voices of the couple on their patio next store. The lodge itself, all dishes, furniture, corners high and low are cleaned extremely well (white glove clean). No smells, odors or fragrances are present until staff starts to cook and then the beautiful aroma of food was present in the main areas. The provisions of food, snacks, drinks and the lovely warm night time homemade berry dump cake is perfectly planned and appreciated. Fishing poles and bait including night crawlers and hot dogs were conveniently found in the barn near the pond as were the bikes. I can not say enough about the tranquility and cleanliness. They accommodated us as a same night check-in as the day we made our reservation and with a 9:30pm arrival. Even with a fully booked lodge the water was VERY hot and plenty of pressure. The bedroom and bathroom were both very large with comfortable furniture and extra bath towels. The mood was enhanced when we entered our room to some very soft music playing from the alarm clock radio and 2 chocolate kisses left with our clean, saran wrap covered glasses. Bags of ice were conveniently available in the diningroom freezer.
Our stay was fabulous, so these things would just be to make it even better or to know ahead of time. Unfortunately, like many areas in the mountains, the winding road to the lodge is a narrow road. Passing cars with our large dually truck in the fog and rain was not fun especially with the drop-off right next to the road as your going down hill leaving the lodge. The crochet set was broken and couldn't be used and the pond could have used some UV blocker to make it a little prettier but it was very natural and usable for fishing the way it was. Though it had a very large sandy beach area, there is no way I would swim in it. (They didn't say if you could or couldn't swim.) Parking is limited to exactly the number of spaces as lodgers so fitting our large dually truck into a space was a challenge. For future stays I would just notify them ahead of time and ask them to save you an end parking spot. This is a resort that caters to couples but the shower was a single tiny little shower head that could be hand held. We wished they had 2 shower heads as the shower was plenty large enough for 2. Take bug spray if you plan to be out hiking or staying out fishing. The mosquitoes are as to be expected for a wooded area that was rainy and warm at the beginning of September. Other than answering our servers questions at breakfast about which juice we would like and how we wanted our eggs, we never seen or heard from anyone that worked there that morning. (We probably would have the day before if we hadn't been a late check-in.) These things are all very minor and would not at all prevent us from returning.

The breakfast was perfect! The dining room was comfortable, service was great and food was delicious!
There was nothing that we didn't like. We were welcomed and given a quick tour of the facility. Our room was comfortable and cozy. We will definitely be back.
