About this house rental

This is a wonderful vacation home with great beach access! Enjoy the large deck with a view of the ocean. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1650 square feet with a fully equipped kitchen will be easy to enjoy your vacation. Folly beach has many shops, restaurants and bars on Center St that you can enjoy with your family. There are also rental companies on Folly Beach that you can rent bikes, kayaks, golf carts and more to fully enjoy all Folly Beach as to offer!

Note:
1. With the interest of full disclosure. This house is on a double lot. There is a 4 story house on the same lot obstructing some of the ocean views. The house has been priced with this in mind. That being said, you have great views of the ocean and a 25 yard walk to the beach. You are getting a front beach house at a 2nd row price. No crossing the street and a nice boardwalk to the beach.
2. The house is not perfect. We get hit with severe weather (hurricanes, corrosion from the salt air, etc.) We work hard to keep it up, but it's not always perfect. If perfect is what you want, then please rent a hotel room.

The house was very nice and comfortable. We stayed here year before last and enjoyed our visit. Love the way it is decorated and the beds are very comfortable. However, this year we were very disappointed due to the refurbishment of the beach. I understand the need but I wish we would have known ahead of time so we could alter our plans. The beach had construction 24/7 with the constant sound of bulldozers and the constant beeping all night long. Thursday and Friday they worked directly in front of the house so the beach was closed. We paid a lot of money for this location!!! We would have left early except my sister had a return flight booked on Saturday. Very disappointed with our visit this time and felt cheated in a way. Vervisit. We won’t be back next year.

This house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, the beach was better for surfing than beach combing when we were there. Parking was awesome with plenty of room to turn around. Kitchen was fully stocked with all dishes and appliances needed. WiFi worked great. Each room had their own tv with working apps to enjoy. Water heater was amazing, 5 showers and still plenty of hot water available! Only problem was the washing machine needs a though cleaning as it had mold growing on the seal from being closed when wet. Check in and check out were super easy!

We have always loved folly beach, over fifty years. I wish we weren’t there during the Kings Tide, but that can’t be helped. I just could not believe how clean the house was. Thank you.

The property was an overall great fit for our family & our dog. One or two items you can have corrected by the mtce company: 1. Extra roll of toilet paper not included in 2nd bathroom. 2. Sprayer at kitchen sink only in spray mode & very splashy. 3. Over stove light bulb at stove is out & very dark.

It was a great house. Ocean view, front yard fenced in for pets. Well stock kitchen we enjoyed our stay very much. House was clean except under the beds. I usually don't check under the beds but I lost my earring and was looking for it. Other wise this would have been a 5 star

Place was clean. Ever thing needed to cook ourselfs when needed. Convient to beach and places to eat. Honestly within steps to beach from back door, we really enjoy our trip. Place had plenty room for our family of 4 adults and 1 child.Definitly would stay again.

The house sits behind a tall house. You will have great views and breeze on either side. You need to bring extra TP and paper towel. I replaced the gross kitchen scrubby with a new one. We had a few ants but only for one night after a rain. The food in town is very average except for lost dog cafe. It will not will not be hot in the summer because house has great AC. The decorations and house charm grows on you. Enjoy the your own parking because on weekends it is very crowded and I saw charges of $30 per day downtown.

This place is wonderful-highly recommend it. It is right on the beach and yes it has a building in front of it-but do not be put off. it has everything you need and more. Just outside of the town we hired golf buggy's to get around. The communication was brilliant-could not fault any of it. Wonderful and relaxing stay-highly recommend it to family, friends and everyone who wants to visit and stay in Folly beach. Fabulous hosts

We rented this home to ge near our son and his family to celebrate our granddaughters second birthday. It was the perfect home for our needs! We were even able to bring our labrador Chase for his first beach vacay! The home is beautifully decorated , comfortable and inviting! We will definitely keep this one on our list for future stays and would recommend to others as well. The fenced yard area, parking and the deck and beach access were perfect!

We had such a relaxing stay at this wonderful home on Folly Beach! Spent numerous hours walking the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with every pot or pan or serving dish that you would ever need. Only a few miles to Folly center and 20 minutes to Charleston. We loved it! Thank you!

You can tell this house has a personal touch from the owners. Decor was tasteful, "shabby chic" , retro beach house - not the typical corporate owned box so many tend to be these days. Plenty of room for family low country boil as well as small nooks and crannies for privacy. The beach is quiet and steps away from the house but close enough to surfer paradise to keep it interesting. If you went to the Carolina beaches as a kid where the attraction WAS the beach, this is the place for you. Gonna make it an annual thing.

Wonderful location right on Folly Beach!

Six of us (plus our dog) stayed at this location for a week and had a great time! There's plenty of room for everyone, beds were comfortable, and everything in the house worked as advertised! The beach is just a few steps from the back of the house and it was wonderful to be able to easily run back and forth when needed! We would gladly stay here again!

This isn’t a 5 star rental so if it’s all about the house this may not be the one. But for being on the beach and be clean and comfortable this is definitely the one.

We got to see the lunar eclipse and blood Moon from the deck! Was a wonderful stay, right on the beach. Being able to bring our little dogs was an amazing plus. Only gripes: The upper bedroom porch door didn't really work (open/close) properly, but not a big deal to me. It would be nice if the house between the beach and the house had piping that would contain it's AC draining. It liked to splatter all over the back porch when it was windy. Other than that I absolutely love the house and it's location and would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay right on Folley beach. Each morning we’d wake up and walk the beach enjoying the beautiful sunrise and the start of a new day. After sightseeing all day it was so relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the waves roll in. This home is a little dated, and there is a window air conditioner upstairs that is very loud. Also a stand alone air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom is noisy. That being said, the temperature was fine. No coverings on one or two of the patio doors was disconcerting.

Although the rental property itself in terms of location and view is great, we had issues with check in as when we arrived the cleaning crew had not completed the cleaning process. I had to reach out to get the place cleaned ( we made the beds ourselves, moved chairs and cleaning supplies, etc). Although I could let that go and enjoy our stay, Tyler proceeded to request an extra cleaning fee from me although we followed all check out directions and the place was left cleaner than we arrived, literally. The audacity he has to charge me on top of the already insane cleaning fee when the house was never even cleaned for us to begin with is insane. Would have stayed again, but not so much anymore

Six retired ladies ready to enjoy Charleston Open Tennis, great food, sunny beach, and comfortable dwelling. Our property manager was spectacular; even sent us an item we left behind (above and beyond). Everything we needed was available. Some of the amenities were a little dated (bathrooms) and the window screens need replacing. We would definitely stay here again, as the location was convenient and comfy.

The property had some minor problems. Lights and fan did not work and bathroom curtains were missing, The bamboo blinds for one sliding door space was rolled up behind the couch. The location (3 miles from downtown) and beach access were great.
