The shopping is great with selected international and local fashion within 5 minutes from the apartment. Location Sunset Coast is located on the west coast of Mauritius,
in the Black River region between Tamarin Bay and Le Morne beaches. It is just over an hours’ drive from the SSR airport and the time is GMT + 4.
Black River is a well-developed region, very touristic and well known for its incredible beaches and Crystal Sea.
The shopping is great with selected international and local fashion; the dining is good, quality or relaxed.
Within very close proximity, you will also find 2 European style supermarkets, wine shops, butcher shops, chemists, a family doctor, Medical Center, petrol stations, a police station as well as a Tourism Information Kiosk.
There is a wide selection of banks which are open from 09:30-1500 Mon-Thurs and 09:00-17:00 on Fridays.
The climate is one of the best on the island with average of (27°C – 33°C) with peaks in the summer period.
People in Mauritius drive on the left-hand side of the road and give way to the right. Most people in Mauritius are bilingual and are equally fluent in English and French.
Creole and French are the main languages in the everyday environment and several oriental languages are spoken.
