Exceptional property. The layout and the comfort was second to none
Ohhh a warning for that step from lounge to front balcony would have been appreciated; dodgy ankle and the extra unexpected drop was a bit scary ... but adjusted :)

Iconic old building with great atmosphere.

Wonderful place that is being run by wonderful people. Lots of good advice about the area. The apartment is charming and comfortable. Building has very cool history. Absolutely the best place we stayed on our rt 66 adventure.

i would describe the Post as Rustic Chic! I loved the history, the nostalgic decor, the walking trail nearby, sitting on the balcony, the spaciousness of this upstairs apartment with wooden floors that creaked, but there was nobody downstairs to be bothered by it (because downstairs is an event center). It was just perfect for my little getaway & I would have enjoyed staying longer. They even provided a little doggy care basket for my little travel buddy!

Great little apt on Route 66! We loved the decor and atmosphere.
Nothing to write here.

location near old Rt 66
we had entire floor
Rt 66 decor
bathroom is only acessable via main bedroom. Sort of odd
light switches were oddly placed.
Restaurant choices nearby were limited and closed early

I loved the location! So cute! I loved the decor and how it connected with Route 66 and the time period. I liked how the used the space of the old building. They are working creatining a green space in the back. There were delicious bakery treats. They are very pet friendly and had little touches to make the stay go smoothly. This is one of my favorite places that I have stayed.

This place is an absolute gem! I love the historic building and the way it has been remodeled!! The place is located near a lot of Route 66 spots to see including the Field of Dreams!
No complaints. Everything was perfect!

The decor was great. Clean. Just one thing...no one told us there was 24 stairs to climb. I was ok with it but there was a lady traveling with me with bad knees. No good. Did have an ant problem. Could not find any spray so I used hair spray. It worked.

A good value and very clean. Kind of kitchy and fun decor. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you need if you want to cook. The host left rolls, OJ and coffee for the morning. I would stay here again.
The front bedroom has no door and has a double size opening that opens directly into the living room. It faces the street so there was road noise in the morning. The other odd layout was that you have to go through the back bedroom to get to the bathroom. Not a problem for us but worth noting. There are 24 stairs up to the apartment.

The unlocking of doors an how easy the internet operated

The apt was in a great location, not far from my daughter's house. I will definitely rent this place again when I visit my daughter again. The apartment was not far from the casino and restaurants.
The kitchen window was facing the neighbors next door and they had a lot of clutter around the house. We wanted to park our pickup truck in the backyard and could not open the doors. The toilet water kept running and I had to open the toilet top to stop the water from running. My daughter wanted to stay one night with us and the airbed you provided did not have an air pump.

I loved everything! It was the coolest little b&b I've been at to date!

The B&B had a Route 66 theme throughout! The apartment has so much space and was super clean.

Cute, vintage look. Mixed eras, 50-60s. The decor overall was cute. Not a “modern facility,” which we like, and had wifi! The bed was comfy and the spare fans were awesome (we use a standing fan at home). There were extra supplies which was nice and the coffee station was a nice touch. We chuckled because we brought apples and when we opened the fridge... they too had apples for guests. Our dog was comfortable there and there was nothing unsafe for her. Overall, nice place and very thoughtful owners!
There were only two things that weren’t so great, both out of the owners’ control. The first was neighbor’s property next door was covered in trash, complete with a very loud truck. Second, they have an event space below that was rented the one day, no biggie as it was a day time event, but people smoking at the base of the stairs as we were coming and going because they used the flower pot down there as their ashtray. We got rid of the butts, but I would probably stick no smoking sign sign there to deter people.
