peaceful comfortable and well equipped
nothing we didn’t like but maybe a BBQ upgrade is necessary
4.8
The cottage was really characterful, well set up and the hosts were so friendly (including their 3 dogs).
There were quite a lot of flies. And maybe the bbq could be updated. But that’s nitpicking, we loved our stay here.

Shane and Yuko were so lovely and welcoming. The property was beautiful and very relaxing to come back to after a day of exploring. Breakfast supplies beyond exceeded expectations with local eggs, bacon, milk, juice, jam and more! We adored their 3 friendly dogs and their antics kept us well entertained in the evenings.
The cottage was very hot during the day and early evenings and didn't really cool down until night hit.
4.8
Fantastic cozy little historic cottage, fireplace, nice kitchen and fresh farm eggs, bread, juice, and bacon provided! The dogs were sweet and we loved checking out the farm animals. We saw more pademelons on the way in the driveway than our whole trip! Super convenient to National Parks. We will definitely be back!
Add a couple hooks in the kitchen for tote bags, otherwise its perfect!

location and peace and quite. My wife and I needed some rest so this was perfect for us.
There was nothing about the property that was negative enough to mention

Location and views were amazing.
Not a very comfy old couch-but thats just our old bones!

peaceful surrounds, provision of local produce (eggs, bacon, butter, milk, fruit juice, bread), llamas / sheep/ padymelons / chickens in paddocks, friendly family dogs, opportunity to see sheep being sheared, hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Provision of firewood and lovely nightly fire. Would love to stay again.

Located in a lovely area near Mole Creek. Peaceful and quiet surroundings and set among trees and fields

Exceptional facilities. Very clean. Complimentary breakfast provided and drink facilities. Friendly. Great farm.
The shower leaked out under the shower screen door. Very slippery without a towel to soak up the water. Could do with written instructions for the washing machine and induction cooktop.
4.8
Breakfast provided was excellent, I loved the milk with cream on top. The animals on the farm were great too, alpacas and sheep. Was really well located between Launceston and cradle mountain.
It was hard to get the place warm enough with the fireplace. Had to burn a lot of timber with the air vents fully open to get the lounge warm. Bedrooms had electric heaters and were fine.

The location is excellent, allowing us to witness the beauty of the galaxy in the backyard during the evenings. The owner provides a modest yet satisfying breakfast that suits our family's needs. Exploring the entire truffle farm has been a delightful experience due to its remarkable beauty.
The living room's coziness comes from the wood heater, yet nights can still be chilly in the bedrooms despite electric blankets on the beds. We don’t wear the shoes into the room to keep the carpet clean, but without slippers, the kitchen and bathroom tiles feel extremely cold. We attempted to purchase slippers from the nearby Woolworths, but they were unavailable. We also reached out to the landlady for slippers, but unfortunately, her assistance was very limited.
Come in the summer season would be perfect.

This property was very well presented and exceptionally clean and we loved the extra little touches such as the fresh milk ect in the little jars and bottles
There was no instructions to change the settings on the hot tub

We were in the Pioneer cottage, the original building on the property constructed in 1860 renovated with modern inclusions but utilising as much of the original cottage as possible including the original floorboards and fireplace in the bedroom constructed of convict hand pressed brickwork. it is a one bedroom with separate kitchen/dining area and a combustion heater in the fireplace. The other cottages are a mix of heritage and modern (luxury) construction so there is an option to suit anyone. The setting is on a working farm so lots of sheep, goats, nchickens, ducks, Guinea fowl plus two friendly dogs, there were a few very young goats which were just delightful. The breakfast provisions were lovely and featured locally sourced bacon and eggs, farm fresh creamy milk, juice and bread with locally made butter and spreads. The kitchenette featured a stovetop, microwave and a glass convection cooker. The hosted Shane and Yuko are delightful, very friendly and accommodating.
Didn’t stay long enough.

Beautiful spacious house with delicious breakfast supplies

Location was fantastic. Cottage was brilliant. Hosts very nice.

We stayed in the Pioneer Cottage, the smallest but the original accommodation on the property. It was cosy and authentic, perfect for a couple. Shane told us its history on our arrival. It had every mod con in kitchen and bathroom, a lovely spacious hot shower, a coffee pod machine and a comfortable bed. Generous provisions, sourced locally, were provided. The best feature was the wood burning stove which filled the room with warmth very quickly. Wood for the fire is sourced on the property and left ready for use outside. A bush walk is nearby, to Alum Cliffs. Mole Creek Caves are a short drive away.
It was not truffle season. If that's your interest, come in winter, from June onwards.

Magic location in the Oak cottage on the truffle farm. Warm fire, outdoor bath on the deck, cosy and everything you need in the kitchen. We will definitely be back!

We adored this property. The beautiful organic breakfast provisions were a lovely treat. The surroundings were delightful, peaceful and serene. We loved waking up here and will definitely be back

A beautiful romantic cabin in stunning surrounds with all of the needed luxuries. Perfect for us to recover after a long trek. A nice touch providing breakfast supplies too. Lovely owners.
Nothing.
4.8
The breakfast was delicious with freshly laid eggs
The state of the grounds and gardens are in disrepair which is a shame as there is huge potential. It would be good to relocate the hen house further away from the accommodations.

Lovely as always, extra special when you get visits from doggies 🐕

Our cottage was wonderful. There was a fireplace, coffee-maker and some eggs and cereal, milk and bacon provided plus an orchard outside our door. Such a nice thought and we loved our time there in Mole Creek.
There is nothing I can think of that would make this experience any better!
4.8
Well presented cottage with modern fixtures with heritage features and comfortable bed. We were supplied a generous breakfast for our 2 night stay. Short drive to Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary and Mole Creek for meals at Mole Creek Hotel and Tiger Treats.
Duelling roosters crowing from 5am outside our Pioneer Cottage it is a farm stay nothing hosts can do about it

We were in the Heritage Cottage. It was large and well stocked. Breakfast was fresh locally produced eggs, bacon, butter, jam, real milk with real cream. It had friendly dogs and cat. Alpacas. We loved it!

We were welcomed on arrival by the hosts to beautiful accommodation which was well equipped and warm and very comfortable in a wonderful location. There was a welcome pack of breakfast goodies waiting and wood ready for the log burner. It was a delight.
Everything about Mole Creek Cottages was wonderful and we can highly recommend it
Great location lovely people and the most amazing holiday stay.

Hosts Shane & Yuko, their dog, Macca, & the lovely organic eggs, juice, milk, & bread supplied for breakfast.
Leaving!

We stayed in a beautifully built one bedroom cottage on a farm stay. There was a relaxing hot tub on the balcony with a magnificent view. Breakfast was provided with fresh farm eggs, bacon and bread, museli and milk with excellent cooking facilities for self catering. Shane was very informative on our arrival - letting us know about the local scenic views, including Alum Cliffs and Devils Gullet. We also managed a drive to Cradle Mountain and enjoyed a full days hiking from Roony Creek, Marion Lookout, Face track and back to Dove Lake.

Kids loved being able to feed the chickens and alpacas. Also loved that there was space for them to run around and play with the very friendly dogs (who made their stay!). The Heritage Cottage was an amazing building with plenty of space for a family of 4 & beautiful views.
4.8
Our stay at Blackwood Park Cottages exceeded our expectations, from the well appointed cute cottage, to the amazing breakfast items. The kids absolutely loved interacting with all the amazing animals (dogs, alpacas, sheep, goats and chickens) on the farm. We would look forward to our next visit.

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful property, loved the springer spaniel, enjoyed the quiet and the breakfast.
4.8
Luxury cabin, as advertised: hot tub, Netflix and plenty of chill. Great location overlooking the valley, a 5 min drive from Mole Creek Village, and an hour from both Cradle Mtn and Launceston.
Shane and Yuko were very friendly and obliging hosts, leaving quality supplies for the first couple of breakfasts and supplying a modern gas BBQ on request - as local dining options are limited.
A lake in front attracts duck and wallabies without the hassle of extra insect life.
Very little. For longer stays like ours (5 days) it would be good if there was a mandatory linen change/refuse collection halfway through, without the need to ask for it, I think.
