We enjoyed the property, it was back away from the street and was fairly quiet. Loved the atmosphere of the B&B and all the Conveniencies.

We felt like this place was a hidden garden oasis in the middle of Charleston!! Everything was clean and we had comfortable accommodations! We would definitely stay here again.

I did enjoy my stay- the location was perfect and the courtyard was a really nice thing to have. The unit was a bit dusty, and there were only 2 small towels. The management company was very responsive and helpful. The photos make this unit look a little more luxurious when its actually pretty basic. Could use better lighting and the main bathroom is a bit small. Overall tho, I enjoyed my stay.

Nice little place with a short walk to amenities. A short drive to downtown. Unfortunately I did notice that the courtyard area needed to be “de weeded”. Very comfortable stay however. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

This house has a magical quality as you walk into the garden are . It is peaceful and beautiful. The inside was great with upgraded amenities and privacy for each of us.
We loved everything about it and we were also to walk to soooo many stores and restaurants. Off street parking was an added bonus

We loved our stay here. It was so nice that it had two toilets. I will say that the shower and toilet room upstairs is tiny and it was even difficult to open the shower door and get into the shower. An obese person would NEVER be able to use the shower. The downstairs powder room has just a pedestal sink so I used the window sill for my toiletries.
The master has a nice walk-in closet with a stacking washer/dryer.
The nicest part about this place was the courtyard. Party lights and a big tree make it very charming. However, the neighboring courtyard is only separated by a wooden fence so, if they are outside partying it is disruptive.
The kitchen has a small refrigerator and a separate freezer. The kitchen window does not have any covering so if you are sleeping on the living room trundle bed, there is no privacy and it is not very dark.
The owner/management had great communication and was very responsive.
Parking in Charleston is very challenging so having a private spot at the gate to the courtyard was essential.

Very charming old school setting. Nice to have two floors. Well stocked mini kitchen area. We felt safe in the neighborhood. For those sleeping downstairs, it would be nice to have a share over the kitchen window.

Accommodations were excellent, consistent with the listing. Great location, easy to walk to King Street and easy to drive in and out of the city.

We loved our 2 night stay! Place was great in every department. Just a few blocks from Kings St which has all the restaurants and nightlife. Host communicated wonderfully - very straightforward and responsive with everything throughout. Highly recommend!

This carriage house was in walking distance to everything and was plenty of room for the two of us. It was clean and very comfortable and we loved the courtyard and beautiful blooming tree too.

Everything was top notch and we will definitely return! Thank you for a really wonderful experience!

The space was great and the location perfect as we walked everywhere. No car needed. Everything was perfect except the bed. While it fits the character of the space, one cannot get out in the middle of the night without waking the other person as the bed creaks loudly. Also, hangers are needed in the laundry area as we had nowhere to hang clothes.

We had a wonderful time in your neighborhood! It was an easy walk to anything downtown. We highly recommend the restaurant, Bistronomy, right across the street and down one block! Great service and terrific food.
The accommodations were clean, quaint and comfortable. However, we are older folks and would have preferred a sturdier bed upstairs. :)
Thank you for being lovely hosts! We look forward to coming back.

This was absolutely perfect for visiting my C of C student! We were so comfortable in this beautiful home tucked into the quietest, tropical corner of downtown Charleston. It had everything we could need. I can't wait to go back.

My wife and I came down from Charlotte for a short getaway and the property was perfect. We loved spending the day riding the bikes through the French Quarter and enjoying the nice restaurants in the evening. The neighborhood was lovely and it met all our needs. If I have to nitpick, our only complaint was the bed being a little uncomfortable. Other than that, a perfect trip!

The house and courtyard are lovely. Nice to be out of the chaos of downtown depending on what you want. We'll definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at this property! The courtyard was beautiful, quiet and an added bonus to the beautiful home.
My only complaint was the WiFi connection. Both my phone/computer and partners phone had terrible service.
We weren’t there for work or to be on our phones so that wasn’t an awful situation for us but could be for someone needing to work remotely.

The housekeeping did a great job. The house was very clean.
Our only complaint was that we were, based on the photos, looking for something much more roomy. The photos showed a nice spacious area but in fact, the photos were taken using a special lense that makes everything look twice as large as it actually is.
Except for the dog next door that constantly barked, the area was very quiet.

This cozy, light and airy two story home was perfect for us, just what I was hoping for. Tucked into a charming, safe neighborhood, we walked just up the street to breakfast. A great place to stay while exploring Charleston. Enjoyed coffee on the upper deck in the mornings.

It was a perfect little place for a couple. Very clean and hidden away from the hustle and bustle. My only complaint was the king bed wasn’t that comfortable. Otherwise the place was wonderful.

The house at 85B Boutique Home & Courtyard w/ Bikes exceeded expectations. The super comfy big bed and day bed with extra comforters, linens and towels ensured that both my friend and I slept soundly in the surprisingly quiet house. Having two bathrooms was a perk, too. Spotless and well-appointed, it's bright and airy and Charleston charming. Coffee (stocked by the owners) on the leafy courtyard is a great start before walking the neighborhoods of the old town and the Battery. There are bikes and a parking spot - definite bonus in the city. The kitchen was fully stocked, light and bright and modern. Notable restaurants and the market are withing walking distance.
We can't wait for our next stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Property is in a great location for seeing all of the historical parts of Charleston. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Did not rent a car and did fine without it. Property was clean, private and in good shape. Would definitely recommend to others.

Very cute and convenient property! Perfect for couples. It was very clean and had anything you would need for a short trip or extended stay. I particularly loved the private courtyard. Walking distance to King St. and also walking distance to Leon's (highly recommended). The only thing that would be helpful for future guests to know is that it can be quite loud, fire station is very close by and lots of construction on homes nearby. Bring earplugs for light sleepers or non-early risers.

Overall this was a good place to stay! Very close and within walking distance to everything downtown Charleston has to offer! Disappointed with property communication. We were headed into town the day a category 1 hurricane/tropical storm was hitting. It took a lot of back and forth to get an idea of options so we wouldn’t have to be driving in as this storm was hitting. After this hassle, we were able to be refunded 50% for one night and come down the next day. After the storm hit, it again was a bit of a hassle to ensure the property had power and no damage and that we would even be able to get into town the next day. Once headed down the next day, we asked about getting in earlier to the property since we had paid half price for the previous night and our trip was delayed a day due to uncontrollable weather. It was again back and forth about that which didn’t make much sense since we had paid partially for the previous night. Once we got into the property, it was a good place to stay. The overall experience was just really stressful at first and seemed like we had to do a lot of back and forth to get what was fair out of the deal for both parties involved. Unfortunately, I would love to stay at this property again however the communication was just a bit dodgy for me and I don’t feel comfortable dealing with these renters again.

A long weekend of relaxing. A perfect property for couples. Conveniently located and delightfully decorated!
The air conditioner worked like a champ!

So much charm!
I could not believe how quiet and peaceful this property is, given the busy area. It was closer than I thought to all the bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend!

Great Cottage & Location
This cottage was wonderful!! It sits back farther away from traffic, so very quiet. Within walking distance of King St., where there's shopping and restaurants. Everything we needed was all there for us to use and David was wonderful, making sure we were taken care of. Will totally stay here again, the next time we come to Charleston. Thank you so much!
