About this apartment rental
Ocean Dream is located on Collins Ave in the Faena District, just across the street from the beach and the famous Miami Beach boardwalk: you only have to cross the street to enjoy a romantic sunset or a morning jog!
The condo is few blocks away from the iconic Fontainebleau Resort and only a fifteen minute walk from Lincoln Rd, the famous open air shopping center. Lots of interesting places around: from small neighborhood markets and eateries to very expensive restaurants. Luxury hotels, in the area, offer amazing night life and dining experiences.
The Studio was designed to create a comfortable homey environment for our guest: it features an alcove bedroom, closets, a renovated bathroom with walk in shower. In the living room area you will enjoy, for your moment of relax, a LED TV, comfortable full size sleeper sofa, a very stylish round table with four chairs and a well equipped kitchen with every amenity you may need if you decide to have a home cooked meal: stainless steel appliances, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, complete set of flatware, chinaware, wine glasses, pots, pans and utensils.
You will also enjoy A/C, ceiling fans, free WIFI, beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
Super easy to explore Miami Beach, with the FREE Blue Trolley system that stops right in front of the apartment.

One minute from the beach. Free trolley service just steps away. Very good, affordable restaurant next door to our building. We wanted to visit the Art Deco area of South Beach but without the inconvenience of nightlife. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Good soundproofing. My only suggestion would be to have more facecloths and dishtowels at our disposal.

Nice clean updated apartment enough for two people. Kitchen had coffee/tea/sweeteners. Bathroom had shampoo/conditioner/soap/toothbrush/toothpaste. In case you want to pack light, you can limit those items. We felt secured since you’ll need two codes for two doors to access apartment. Cross the street, walk a tiny bit and there’s the beach! Nice boardwalk to walk also. Convenience store, restaurant, trolley stop close by. I will definitely stay here again. Property manager communicates well and reachable whenever you need any information.

Apartment is just as advertised and the host instructions were super helpful. Beach chair and umbrella were perfect for accessing the beach virtually across the street. Trolley stops one block away to get to SOBE. Great spot for what I needed! Thanks!

I only stayed 4 nights and the weather wasn't the best. The location is great loved the boardwalk and how close it was to the beach. I felt safe when walking which was important to me. The place is as described easy to check in. the host was quick to respond to questions and made sure I had all the information to check in.

All the amenities you'd hope to be provided were. Communication and flexibility with check-in/out procedures was appreciated. Nicely decorated. Convenient store and dining establishments in walking distance. Would definitely return if in the area.

Arrived weary, diabetic husband fighting insulin shock, and property had not been cleaned! Owner was obtuse and escalated to abusive. She threatened to refund our money and Street us because WE were aggravated!
We walked to a market while property was cleaned. Spent more than weekly groceries on coffee and other essentials only to discover that the property already had much of it. Communication was abhorrent. Owner insisted WiFi directions were correct but I used the router configuration to connect.
First night, we didn't sleep, finally physically removed light bulb so fan could run without light. Rug on floor is dangerous. It curls in one corner and we tripped over it multiple times daily. Corners, cabinets, etc were filthy. I could go on.
Owner did not communicate that shower essentials were provided so we hauled unnecessarily. No place to dry wet clothes or towels. Instructed to remove trash but after a building search trash receptacle but couldn't locate.
Positives, location, nice shower, and mattress.
Been using VRBO before it became a thing. NEVER had an ungrateful, insensitive and abusive Owner. We loved our vacation but the VRBO was a downer we had to overcome.
We believe we have some money that should be refunded.
Happy to discuss further but not with owner.

Awesome spot, close to beach and many places. Owner is awesome, coffee pot was broken and they immediately replaced it.
The beach items to use were so helpful. We left a cooler to add to the other items.

We had ! A great time even tha the covid 19 had alot of place closed we still was able to find something to do and they are working on the beach so we could not walk on it or get in the water.over all everything was good.

The condo was well equipped and well maintained. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Miami Beach. The beach is across the street and was amazing! This condo was a nice cool place to return at the end of a hot day of beaching and exploring.

The only flip part is the old building with the smell outside of the apartment coming typically from older dwelling but otherwise it is very good.
The elevator was not working while we stayed but hopefully it should be fine soon.
All in all, we enjoyed thoroughly and would grab the chance to come back and stay once again whenever we can!

There is also a laundry room in the basement if you need to do a load. We enjoyed the restaurant right next door (Tavern).

The apartment is beautiful and accommodates really well.
The apartment is absolutely worth every penny. You are getting a steal. Susanna is more than accommodating and the beach is a really close walk. The only reason it’s getting a 4 star rating is the noise at night. Future guests might want to bring earplugs. Other than that we will definitely be recommending Ocean Dream to others.

Perfect start in the vacation
My family and I started our 6 week trip in this top apartment on Collins Ave north beach. We have a one year old daughter and as we arrived a little bed was already done for her. The flat is on the third floor but is not a problem as a lift is available. In the flat you can find available everything you need. In the kitchen there is a big refrigerator, all kitchen stuff is there for cooking whatever you want. Having a baby it was for us very important! Normal towels, beach towels, sun umbrella and beach chairs are also available. The position is also very good, not directly on the chaotic south beach side but you can easily and quickly reach Ocean Drive and Lincoln road either by foot on the beach promenade or by trolley (gratis) or by bus. We enjoyed the beach just 2 minutes walk from the flat. Ah, the parking slot in front of the house was also precious for us. We would highly reccomend this place for your stay in Miami Beach!!!

Would definitely stay again - perfect for us!
My 16 yo daughter and I had a conference in Miami (the city) and wanted to vacation afterwards on the beach. Preferring mid-beach we looked for something close with beach access and this condo was perfect for us. We mainly used the space to sleep, shower and cool off. Places to grab a bite were close enough that we didn't use the kitchen facilities, but if we needed them, they would have been sufficient. The supply of beach chairs, towels, extra bedding, a cooler, everything made our stay a great one. I definitely would recommend to others! We had no problems whatsoever and would stay again. :)

A small gem
Don't let the outside color your impression. Apartment is compact but airy and great use of a small space. Updated bathroom and contemporary decor. Comfortable sitting and dining with microwave, refrigerator, stove, basic cooking and dining supplies. Slight street noise but easy access to the boardwalk and beach. Restaurant next door at Croyden Hotel is exceptional. Towels, linens, shampoo, hair dryer, and several bottles of water were appreciated amenities. Within a good walking distance to restaurants and other hotel eateries. Plan on staying there next time.

perfect place to stay
we absolutely loved this condo for our trip. Our host was more than accommodating. She let us check out late because she had no one booked the day we were leaving and our bus didnt leave till supper time...which really helped considering we had so much luggage. She also sent me an email with info about miami since we had never been such as places to eat....night life scenes....sites to see during the day if your looking to explore around. it was also a 2 min walk to the beach which we very much enjoyed and a restarant literally right next to the condo that had amazing breakfast. i would definitly stay here again and i would recommend it to others.

Perfect beach front property
My family and I had a great stay here. The place is just as advertised. It has a full kitchen to help keep the cost down of eating out every meal. It was located right across the beach, as advertised. Susanna was very helpful and responded very quickly whenever we had questions. The apartment/condo was very clean and modern. It was close enough to walk to South Beach but since this was a family vacation, we stayed within a 5 block vicinity most of the time. Susanna is very helpful with some tips once you give her an idea of the things that you would like to do while in MIami as well. I would recommend this location to anyone who is interested in staying there. My family and I had a wonderful time in Miami and a big part is because of Susanna's warm hospitality.

AMAZING AND CLEAN!!
When we walked through the door, it smelled clean, looked clean and was clean. This place is very well maintained. We didn't have any problems with our rental. We enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating our 10th year of marriage and Susy went out of her way to buy us a bottle of wine with a small note saying congratulations. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo. If we ever come back to the mid-beach area, we will definitely check availability at this place first.

The apartment was clean and looked like the photos online. Everything worked without any problems. The location is very nice, only across the street to hit the beach. I absolutely recommend this apartment!

Wonderful vacation!
We just finished staying at Susanna's lovely condo. We had a wonderful time. The studio was small but perfectly sized for my husband and I. The building is quite old and we were a bit scared to use the elevator, but we didn't mind the exercise of using the stairs since we ate so much pizza and gelato while we were there. Susanna did a great job of decorating the condo and the inside was beautiful. We ate breakfast in the house most mornings and then explored the city the rest of the day. We rented a car on the first and last days as it was cheaper than a shuttle to get us to Fort Lauderdale, but Susanna was very helpful in explaining the high parking rates so we stayed outside of the city when we had the car. On the other days, we went to the beach across the street to walk in the sand and collect shells and run on the boardwalk, and then spent the rest of the time by Lincoln. Her condo was very conveniently located to everything for us. It was far enough from the craziness of South Beach but close enough to walk to. Thanks again!

Just returned from and great stay in Miami. Everything about this condo is just as described. Clean, safe and well taken care of. Everything you need for a day at the beach is included. Plenty of closet/storage space. Susanna is very helpful and is quick to respond to all questions. Location is perfect! Beach is steps away and all the excitement of SoBe is just down the road if that's your thing.

Could not ask for a better place, or host
The condo was absolutely spectacular. The property was very clean and furnishings are very modern and tasteful. The owner was fantastic regarding communication.The location is perfect. Close to the beach and a short walk or Bike Ride to Lincoln Rd. The beach is so close!!! Also had beach supplies in the condo which we were super grateful for. I would highly recommend for a couple visiting Miami Beach.
