I enjoy staying there. The food is good, the rooms are comfy and I feel welcome.

I have stayed many times, usually 2 nights. The location is convenient for my visits to the area. The food is good and the owners and staff are friendly and efficient. I will keep going back.

Lovely comfortable accommodation and the host was welcoming and friendly.

The room was clean and modern. It was a good size and convenient for the bar and restaurant downstairs.

Stayed before so knew what to expect. Spacious room with good facilities. I love the little sitting room at the top of the stairs. Relaxing place to watch the view.

We were walking St Oswalds Way so this was very convenient. The room was very clean, the beds wonderfully comfy, food very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Really excellent all round

Lovely stay

Food was superb. Monday steak night and breakfast. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Some communal areas looked a little tired.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The sticky toffee pudding was best we have eaten. Room was very clean had everything we needed.

Enjoyed our stay would recommend this Inn ,would use again

Nice breakfast with staff very nice, liked the location easy to find,plenty of parking, nice atmosphere, rooms well equipped and bright and cheerful

Meals nicely cooked, small portions although a little overpriced for whst wS served eg rump steak lacked garnish/colour, with minimal accompaniment included. Not the hotels fault but road noise annoying in the a.m

The staff were friendly and the village was very quiet. Breakfast and dinner was very good.

The bed was lopsided, and it felt as if you could slip off. I paid £ 10 for a packed lunch , which was far too expensive for what I received.

Staff were so friendly. We booked a table for all our family for our grandsons birthday. we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Perfect place to relax and recuperate following a long days cycle.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, had an evening meal and breakfast. Single room was ideal, bed comfortable and shower very good. Safely stored my bicycle overnight.

Perfect location for Northumberland countryside and coast.

Exceptional location, attractive room in attractive building, exceptional helpfulness of staff. Parking good also, very close to door. Nice breakfast.

The one minor complaint (almost) is that as an elderly person I could have used a grab-handle for getting out of the shower.

Great location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great food

We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food superb. Friends have visited this hotel before and recommended to S to stay here, glad we did.

Everything was exceptional, no complaints about anything.

great food (we had dinner on the Saturday night) and a good breakfast. really friendly and helpful staff. good location

the room was a little on the cool side when we arrived but having said that there was a heater available and we turned the towel rail on in the bathroom. hooks on the back of the bathroom door would be useful.

A night at the Granby Inn

Very friendly and attentive staff for the duration of the stay. Reservation for dnner within the premises on offer and the food was delicious. Likewise, the complimentary breakfast was yummy. The room was clean and cosy and well equipped.

No criticisms warranted as such, but the shower was a bit noisy and it took time for the water to reach a steady flow at a comfortable temperature. Otherwise, the washroom facility was excellent.
