Giant steps #16. The overall complex is dated no elevators or dumbwaiters for gear. The condo was ok not the cleanest but not bad. The thermostat was an issue couldnt get to stop turning on and off. The saving grace were the conditions on the slopes. So for price and proximity it was a all and all good trip

This unit is on the 2nd floor in the middle so there is little foot traffic. We bring a lot of stuff and there is no dumb waiter, you must carry everything yourself. The cooking utensils were decent. The scissors weren’t sharp enough to cut open a baggy but there were tongs and spoons for serving. Issues we had: 1) Living room tv remotes weren’t working. Took 3 days to get one that worked 2) Heater was malfunctioning. Once the heater reached the desired temp the unit would cycle on and off without stopping. Mgmt team said the unit needed to be replaced and it never was. We ended up having to constantly move the thermostat up and down so we didn’t have to hear the clunking, it kept us up the 1st night since we didn’t know what the noise was. 3) We kept losing internet connection. The mgmt team said it was because of the storm that lasted 2 days but we had issues the whole time we were there. To do schoolwork or for my Zoom meeting we used our phones as hotspots or we connected to the internet of a different unit we stayed in previously, even during the storm with success. 4) Closet in master bedroom was locked. No place to store suitcases and only 3 pegs to hang clothes to air out or dry. There were hooks for towels and hooks near the kitchen for coats. 5) No access to firewood in this unit. All previously rented units we were able to get a code for the wood that is stored in the garage. This unit does not provide the code.

The condo is a little dated, but adequate. It had everything we needed. IT was decorated nice and everything worked. Had some problems with internet, but that's expected. Also, for this unit there are 3 flights of stairs to carry everything up. Also, noise from other units is definitely heard. Neighbor had a dog that you could hear barking and moving down the hall. Parking is covered and nice. Super location to Giants steps. you can walk to the lifts and hear the giggles from the tubing hill. It is a great place for a ski trip with family.
