Lovely stay in Chania

This apartment really worked for us. The location is good. Everything was spotless and comfortable. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, in any season, was provided. Efi was super helpful with excellent recommendations and very responsive! We look forward to staying here again!

Allez y vite !

Nous avons tout aimé, depuis l’accueil extrêmement gentil, attentionné et bienveillant sur la durée, à notre demande, nous avons reçu de très bonnes infos, et également ce magnifique appartement. On ne se lasse pas de la vue sur la mer. Sa situation est idéale, à un jet de pierre de la vieille ville d’un côté, et du petit port aux bons restos de l’autre. Il est facile de se garer dans la rue

La Vita Moderna: beautiful, well-located spacious apartment with excellent hosts.

The apartment is absolutely lovely, spacious and beautifully furnished. For a family of four adults, we really liked the multiple sitting areas, big couches and balconies. The hosts, Efi and Georgios, were responsive to all our needs. They arranged car rental, airport taxis and made excellent restaurant recommendations. When we needed a few extra kitchen items, they were promptly provided. The air conditioning that can be controlled in each room was fantastic and very much needed in a heat wave. Nea Hora beach which is great for swimming and fish restaurants is a very short walk from the apartment as is the Old City. Chania is an exotic and unique cross between East and West and La Vita Moderna was a perfect accommodation for a Crete visit.

Luxury apartment, awesome balcony, great food!

Excellent location close to the public beach and the downtown. Very nice 3rd floor apartment with lovely balcony that catches the sea breeze. Georgios was super helpful and gave great restaurant recommendations!

One of the best places to rent in Chania!

The location is just perfect, the view from the balcony is fabulous, and the apartment is everything one could ask for. There's everything you need, air-conditioning is a life saver too when the weather gets too hot in the afternoon. Our host Georgios was just the best! Asking if everything is ok, if we need anything, giving us advice and helping with car rental. He even left us a welcoming present, wine and raki. :D

Only one minor thing comes to mind, the master bedroom could use a blind on the sliding door, the see-through curtain was not enough.

Simply the best!

Great spacious apartment. Exceptionally helpful people. Superb equipment with even the 'soft' products (washing powder, dishwasher tablets, coffee, etc) all there! Brilliant to have the whole floor of the block to ourselves, sea views and ability to choose sun or shade with the wrap-around balconies. Thanks Georgios!

Highly recommend for a family holiday in Chania!

Really nice, spacious and well equipped apartment with excellent location. We loved the big balcony with view of the sea and mountains. Host was really nice and as a bonus gave some very good restaurant recommendations.

Perfect family friendly location, walking distance to great restaurants and lots of shops!

The location was perfect!! so convenient to walk to shops and restaurants. The apartment was very spacious, amazing views of the water! Having 3 bedrooms makes it so nice for a family. No kids fighting because they have to share a room or bed. And the biggest plus was having a washing machine!

Fantastic property, excellent service, in the most beautiful town in Crete.

La Vita Moderna is the nicest apartment my family and I have stayed in in Greece. Georgios provided excellent service and was available thoughout our stay. He met us upon arrival with the keys, and even brought a delicious local "milk cake" to my son for his birthday. I can highly recommend the Vita Moderna, especially if one arrives in Chania with a car. Everything was perfect & the location is great. Many thanks, Georgios for making our stay so memorable!

A fantastic home from home

The apartment was beautiful, in a fabulous location. A short walk to both the old town /venetian harbour and nea Chora Beach. A lovely large wrap around balcony with a sea view. Ideal for sitting out. The facilities included a washing machine (with powder provided) coffee machine (both filter and pods). Also little packs with shower caps /tooth brush etc. There is also a lift. So you don't have to lug your cases or shopping upstairs. The host also had left a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. He kindly organised our taxi to/from the airport and answered all my (many) questions very swiftly. Nothing was too much. We had travelled with hand luggage only. So all the extra facilities were a god send! All in all. If you book here. You won't be disappointed! Can't recommend it enough!

I have back and neck issues, and found the bed and pillows didn't suit me. But that's is no fault of theirs!

Exceptional

Modern, clean and spacious apartment. A great kitchen and shower room with a second toilet. Three good size double beds, balconies with great views of sea and sunsets. A five minute walk to shops, cafes and tavernas and the old port area of Chania. A ten minutes walk to a nice sandy beach at Nea Chora. Strong WiFi signal in all the rooms and tv with Netflix and Amazon prime. Easy to communicate with a very helpful host.

Perfect. Absolutely great value!

Fantastic location right next to the Venetian harbor. It is about a 2-3 minute walk to get to the old part of town where all the restaurants, shops and activities are. The host was very kind and hospitable. We were welcomed with a bottle of Greek wine and the room has a very large balcony with a view of the ocean. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable overall, with a large kitchen and stylish décor. The living room was huge with a large TV, dining table, a couch large enough to sleep 2, bookshelves filled with nice reads you can take with you to the balcony or the beach nearby. Everything was beyond what we had expected. Highly recommend. The price was an absolute steal!

Amazing modern large apartment near the Port and old town in Chania with beautiful views of the sea. We loved our stay in this lovely apartment that was well equiped and even had coffee pods and wine for us. Hosts George and Efi are lovely and gave some great tips on nice restaurants and where to go. We found the location very good to get to restaurants, nice beaches and the gorges. A fantastic place to stay. Thanks for the late check out.
