We stayed in the front house and loved every minute we were there. The pool was warm and the view was breath taking from the pool deck. The host was very attentive and made sure to promptly respond to anything we needed. The house had all of the amenities needed such as beach towels and a washer and dryer. Plenty of pots, pans and utensils along with all necessary appliances. The center of Buserías is walking distance and has better shops and restaurants then Puerto Vallarta.

Stayed here a whole week with my family (4 adults) and couldn't ask for a better place. Plenty of space, cold AC, right on the beach, close to Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. Downtown Bucerias was only a 10 minute drive.the restaurant next door was great and had delicious food.

Casa dos palmas is a beautiful spot on the ocean. We enjoyed sitting at the pool or on one of the patio areas watching the sunrise, sunset, and the waves and ocean activity.
The walk into town is also interesting, however, the amount of construction has taken its toll so watch your step!

Nice spot on the beach

Property, building, interior excellent & new furnishings, exterior extremely well done and manicured.
Nice pool with great view of the bay.
Unfortunately the beach was very roughed up by Hurricane Norma-winds which tore up some sand/palm tree areas that made entering the Ocean waters very difficult.
The road leading to the property is very rough from much construction going on the bay for several miles.

It was so very hard to say goodbye to Casa dos Palmas as it was paradise!
This was our first trip to México with kids (5 and 8) and we had so, so much fun thanks to being right on the beach and having access to a pool every day! México is hot in July, so access to the water was essential.
Our GPS wasn’t working when we arrived but Gary and Charlene had provided us with detailed directions. When we missed our turn we call Baldo, the property manager, and he helped guide us to the rental.
Baldo greeted us and showed us around. He is incredibly friendly and welcoming. While there Baldo organized a zip line tour for us and even took time to drive with my husband to the pick up office the day before. He was incredibly responsive to all our questions and texts and even arranged a soccer jersey exchange with us!
Bucerías is in a great location a 20-25 minute drive to Sayulita and San Pancho. 30 minute drive to Puerto and the town itself is the perfect amount of welcoming and busy but not over crowded (at least in July). We also took the kids to a water park (Splash) and El Cora (a crocodile sanctuary).
The view of the bay from the lounge chairs by the pool will forever be etched in my memory. As will kayaking amongst sea turtles in the bay. We took the kiddos out on kayaks a total of three times and Baldo was fabulous to track down kids lift jackets for us.
We would head back to Casa dos Palmas in a heartbeat!! Thanks so much for all the great memories! ☀️

I can honestly say that this the best time we’ve had in Mexico. The location is great, the view is amazing and the house is well equipped. We’ll definitely be back!

The listing is accurate- this is a nice two bedroom place right on the beach with a small pool shared with one other unit overlooking the beach. Great place to hang out and as many reviewers have noted it is next door to a really fine restaurant. We walked into Buccerais about half the time for meals but it was nice to just pop next door for friendly service, good food and great cocktails. The walk into town was the one issue- right now the first kilometer of the walk is through a series of very active construction sites where towering new condos are going up. The beach changes from week to week but when were there it was a bit rocky in places so walking on the beach was not an easy alternative. I liked having the music and party noises from the weddings next door but some of our party had a hard time sleeping for one or two nights of our two week stay.

Stayed at Casa Dos Palmas for 2 weeks Mar 29 - April 12…had a great time…walked to downtown area daily and enjoyed great meals and a few margaritas…with Sukha Beach Resort right next door some days was a little too convenient to slip over for a bite and a brew
Like to give special recognition to Baldo, the property manager…he popped by several times to check on us and he was always available by phone to do whatever he could to help with whatever you were in need of…he went to the airport to pick up our son when he arrived, arranged taxis for us when Uber failed us again and arranged a driver for us to go exploring areas north of Sayulita and San Pancho
All in all we would recommend this property to anyone who enjoys spectacular sea views, comfortable accommodation and an all around great time

We love Casa Dos Palmas! Gary and Charlene were communicative, timely, and clear with information. The property manager, Baldo, is a gem and handled everything expertly. The house is located in a great spot to avoid crowds and resort trappings, but close enough to everything else to make it fun and easy. The casa, as others mentioned, is very well appointed, so you won’t need to bring much other than the regular travel stuff. The beds are super comfy and the upstairs balcony is perfect for morning coffee.
The only thing I’ll say that differed slightly from the both the listing and google images is that the beach is fairly rocky. Maybe things have changed a bit since the listing and the available images, but it’s also not a deal breaker. The area immediately out the back gate is nice, smooth sand but expect rocks at the water line and several feet in.
We’ll definitely be booking here again and we’ve even started to fantasize about possible retirement days in Bucerias. It really is that special. Thanks Gary, Charlene, and especially Baldo for helping making our trip a success.

Things we liked. Things we didnt.
Likes.
Unbelievable kitchen, chef quality.
Super clean with comfortable beds.
Right on the beach.
Nice garage full of beach supplies.
Dislikes.
Too far from Centro. Not walkable.
Right on highway. Very noisy.
Pool is very nice but unheated
No poolside umbrellas no sun protection
Wall prevents seeing the bay from pool
Water heater too small. One short shower at a time.
Lots of nearby construction. Noisy.
Wedding facility next door. Very noisy on weekends til late.
Restaurant next door very noisy in the morning.
Provided bikes are in terrible shape.
While we enjoyed our stay, we would not stay again. Not our cup of tea. Beware the beach club restaurant next door. The food is terrible and twice they tried to overcharge us.
Unless you can walk long distances, you will need transportation to go anywhere. You share the pool with 2 other Casas on property which is fine and the couples that we met were very nice and seemed to enjoy the property more than us. But to each their own.

It would've been nice to have privacy and no interruptions. The gardeners and masonry showed up our first morning there. They stayed there all day cutting coconuts off the palm trees and doing cement work right by the pool. We had to leave the area so they could get their work done. It could've waited until after our stay but other than that it's a beautiful place.

The casa is wonderful! Everything you could possibly need right on the beach. Baldo was always available to assist with transportation and excursions. He responded quickly anytime we reached out. Gary and Charlene were excellent hosts and helped us with anything we needed. The Casa was everything we wanted and more! Having The Sukha Beachhouse next door was awesome. They had live music a couple nights but didn’t play until wee hours of the night. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Casa Dos Palmas is the first rental property I've stayed at where the property is MORE BEAUTIFUL than the photos! I loved everything about this place. It is so comfortable, so well provisioned (SO MANY TOWELS!!), kitchen gadgets galore, even a charcoal chimney to help start the grill! The bed was very, very comfortable. Falling asleep to the ocean crashing on the beach just outside was so nice. The pool was glorious. The kitchen appliances are all new, the stove, dishwasher, fridge, living room furniture is new, everything is high end stuff. I originally had plans to do quite a bit of touring around the area (Saulita, PV neighborhoods, maybe Tequilla), but found that I really just wanted to hang out at the Casa. It was really that nice. I used the sea kayaks, walked the beach and had a wonderful time everyday. Olivia, the housekeeper was efficient and very nice, and Baldo, the concierge, was extremely helpful. He was continuously available and gave me several excellent recommendations both in Bucerias (El Bruja!) and in La Cruz (the restaurant at the yacht club for fresh catch)! Wow, so good! I HIGHLY recommend and will certainly be coming back myself!

Perfect place in mellow Bucerias
We stayed for 5 nights at Casa dos Palmas and had the best time! It is truly the perfect spot with a swimmable beach, restaurant next door for quick meals and drinks, fully stocked home, kayaks/floats/boogie boards for recreation and centrally located from many fun daytrips. The house is authentic with lots of color and beautiful tiling. The outdoor area is a dream - tropical plants, different seating/lounging options and always a breeze in the afternoon. The individual room ACs all work wonderfully. Beach towels, cooking equipment and a bunch of awesome DVDs to watch on a chill night. We shared the pool with a family staying in another unit one day and it was no big deal! We had it to ourselves most of the time.
*There is one odd window that overlooks the kitchen from the stairwell that is "toddler sized" and open - we put a light hamper in front it to avoid a really scary spill and were very mindful of our son around the stairs. We also brought our own travel crib.*
Baldo, the property manager, met us upon arrival and was super helpful! He booked us dinner reservations and a masseuse that came to the property one morning. He quickly replied to any questions we had.
We took a day trips to Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta, however preferred Bucerias! It is mellower and was perfect for our family. We've already recommended it to many friends and will be back!

Excellent stay At Casa Dos Palmas
Casa Dos Palmas is wonderful! The kitchen is very well appointed, the Condo was clean, and we were very pleased with our stay. The site manager, Baldo, was very responsive and he checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. He was very welcoming and very prompt to meet us at the Condo. The owners, Gary and Charlene were very responsive to any questions we had and provided us great information about Bucerias. We would not hesitate to recommend Casa Dos Palmas! Jim & Ed

As promised on the BEACH!
Vary last minute booking for us. But could not have asked for anything more. The casa has everything you need right on
premise. We used the stove for breakfast, and the charcoal
grill for dinner. The beach is great for taking long walks, then
a swim in the ocean to cool off. An authentic Mexican villa.
The brick, and stone work on the ceilings just beautiful, as is the
rest os Casa dos Palmas. If you are a fish, and seafood lover.
Take short drive, or cab ride to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. Head to fish market Del Mar in the marina for the freshest seafood you
can get at. Baldo will know where it is. Highly recommend Casa
dos Palmas.

Lovely stay
We booked this last minute and were very happy with our stay. The owners and property manager were very helpful. Fully equipped kitchen and right on the beach.
There are two other villas in the complex, so the pool is not private, but we had a couple of days where no one else was in the other units.
There is a beach club next door which had weddings or functions 3 of the nights we were there, so it was a bit noisy until midnight, but at least the DJ was good!
All in all, I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful home!
Perfect except for wedding venue two doors down which played techno music until 2am. Also traffic noise but that is mostly drowned out by the waves. Overall absolutely lovely and would recommend. The bikes could use some fixing. But the kayaks were great and boogie boards too!

This place is dynamite!
Baldo is a saint! This home is special! There is a beach club right next door so really convenient to get quick and easy food and just chill on the property. Easy access to everything! I will book this place again for sure!

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful time at Casa dos Palmas. The beach and pool were great for swimming. Baldo, the concierge, was extremely helpful in arranging on-site massages and a cook for one evening. The meal was amazing. We did find the highway noise loud.

A true gem....
From the time we booked this beautiful home, to our arrival, and during our stay, our family was provided all the support and information we needed to ensure we had the most amazing vacation in Bucerias! The house was clean, and had all the immenities we needed. We loved the pretty, authentic Mexican decor, the lush tropical gardens and the refreshing pool. The best part was the location! Right on the north end of the beach, it was quiet and the surf was calm-we spent hours relaxing and gazing at the incredible view. It was exactly what Charlene and Gary said it was going to be like!! We highly recommend this oasis to everyone! We can't wait to to back!

Loved it!
We loved our stay at this oceanfront oasis! A very comfortable and we'll appointed casa on a quiet section of the beach in Bucerias. Morning coffee overlooking the beach and the daily activity, a great swim beach and a shortish walk to Centro. We made great use of the kayaks and the bikes. Everything about this place was very relaxing, can't wait to come back!

Many things in Mexico get over promised and under delivered. Not this place! Better than we hoped.
Wish we could own a peace of awesomeness like this. But renting is the next best thing. Also. A great stocked kitchen we cooked lots and had all we needed. The BBQ coals were a bit of a challenge for us propane guys. Great time

Our Third Visit to Our Favorite Spot in Mexico
My husband and I spent another 2 weeks at Casa dos Palmas this winter and have already booked our trip for 2018. The first time we arrived at the casa three years ago, we were amazed at the beautiful setting, lovely private beach & pool area and comfortable, well-equipped home. The property listing and photos provided an accurate representation of what we found when we first stepped on the grounds.
The property manager, Baldo and housekeeper, Feli take pride in their work, making sure that any concerns or questions are addressed in a timely manner and providing a thorough cleaning of the casa while we lounged on the patio!
From the property, we can walk the beach, or take a very reasonable cab ride into town where we have enjoyed wonderful food and drink, music & entertainment and shopping.
Casa dos Palmas owners, Charlene and Gary, have been easy to work with and have provided great customer service not only during the rental process, but continuing their property 5 star rating by making improvements and upgrades over the years.
Some of our favorite restaurants include, Culi's, Toscana Mia, Sandrina's, le Bistrot, Karen's, Mark's Bar and Grill, The Fat Boy Seafood and Como Como. We also enjoy visiting La Cruz and Sayulita.
Homemade yummy mini pies delivered to our door and fresh oysters on the beach are treats we look forward to every year.
During our previous month long stays, we've shared the casa with family and friends who love it as much as we do. We have recommended Bucerias and Casa dos Palmas as a wonderful vacation spot to many others.

Lovely property great for kids!
We loved this place right from the moment we walked in. We were there only a minute before the kids were in the pool. The house is spacious and has everything you need. We especially liked that we were supplied with more than enough drinking water for our stay. The garage has plenty of water toys from a kayak, to blow up floaties for the pool. It is on a beautiful beach with gentle waves perfect for swimming. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Great Location, Maintenance and Cleaning not Up to Standard
The booking part was fast and easy. The owner responded fast and friendly to every request. As is stated in the listing; the property is “right on the beach”. The location is on the far side of Bucerías, the property has 3 houses. “Casa dos Palmas” is located on the beach end.
The pool has an excellent size for one family staying in the house, if there are more guests in the other houses it might be too small. At the end of the property you have a door that opens to the beach which is wonderful, maybe the best sand and rock free I have experienced in the Bahia de Banderas zone. There aren’t many people in the sea so it is a very secluded and relaxed area. The sea is very calm and easy to swim in it.
The biggest issues for the house are its maintenance and cleaning. The house has several areas that are in need of work, and changes. Many lights were not working; the balcony on the main bedroom has furniture in very bad shape. During our stay the Sky satellite system was not working and one night we had to sleep in the hot weather with only a fan because the AC in the master bedroom broke down. The main appliances like the fridge and the stove are also in need of a major overhauling or change.
On the housekeeping/cleaning side things are also very bad, the house was not thoroughly clean, things like the coffee maker was disgustingly dirty, and the sheets on the master bedroom had suspicious spots as well as the bathroom curtains. When we tried to wash the sheets we found that a set of towels and sheets were left in the washer and dryer. That part of the experience was a big miss.
It was not a terrible stay but it had its issues, also if I were to share the facilities with other family staying in the other house it will not be a good experience. The place has a lot of plants and flowers in the outdoor areas, that might sounds nice, but they are not well kept and also they attract a lot of mosquitoes, so it is hard to keep off being bitten all day long. The main areas of the house (Living room, dining room and kitchen) do not have air conditioning.
As a final comment, there are many Iguanas that live in the property and the one besides it, you can see them walking around, crossing the patio or climbing to the trees and rooftops, if you like them that might be a plus (Like it was for me), but if you are afraid of them beware that you will have close encounters with really big animals that looks just like prehistoric creatures.

Best Trip to Mexico Ever!
My husband and I wanted a private vacation for our 3rd anniversary and we were very pleased with Casa Dos Palmas and all of the amenities of the property. We got lucky and no one else had rented the other units so we had the whole property to ourselves. What a nice change from hotels where we did not have to share the pool, beach, or any outdoor space with loud children, young partiers, or any of those people you meet at the resort who think you should hang out with them every day once you meet them. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool every day but one and had so much fun body surfing (well, sort of body surfing). The home is so clean and charming and really does have everything you need, right down to a variety of pool floats! Once I found the chair float, I would not give it up. We highly recommend this place to couples or families and will recommend to all of our friends and family. We are already talking about when to go back. It was even better then the pictures. We do recommend bringing your Pesos before you get there as we found some ATMs out of order and there will be fees each time you withdraw. Also, we recommend buying everything you need right away at the MEGA supermarket so you won't have to pay a taxi fare to go back. The taxi fares really add up and we would probably get a car next time. You can walk the beach to town when it is cool, but during the summer months some days can be too hot to walk 20 minutes at mid-day. We liked El Chivero for a beach restaurant and the Gringo Tacos at Yo Yo Mo's are a must and very inexpensive. The Mojitos at Eva's Brickhouse were also wonderful. Breakfast at StarBay hotel next door is extremely convenient, but if you go a few more doors down to Vista Vallarta, you will get juice and coffee included with your breakfast for even cheaper than the $5 at StarBay. We really liked the quaintness of Bucerias and found no need to go into Puerto Vallarta. The shopping was great! Leave lots of room in your suitcase for great Mexican serving dishes and art. Thank you so much Gary and Charlene for really taking care of your guests!

Our trip to the Casa dos Palmos
We are a young family of four and were there two weeks in july 2010. We really had a wonderful time at the Casa dos Palmos. We just loved everything. The house is very well maintained and the location is great for those, like us, seeking privacy, calm and a real mexican experience (as opposed to a tourist trap!).
We felt pretty lucky to deal with 'real' owners, not corporations, who care about our well-being. We also have nothing but good words for the staff there who were very helpful. They really cared for us. Baldo, especially, was very accomodating, helping us for planning our activities. Since we don't speak a lot of spanish, his help was much appreciate.
Thanks to Charlene, Gary and all the staff at the Casa dos Palmos! Hope to go to your wonderful house again!

Great Time
This was a great vacation, The Casa, beach, pool the town everything was exceptional. Friendly people and service staff at this casa are just the begining. BBQing a steak on the natural grill while enjoying the sunset is just one of my fondest memories. You can tell the owners have gone out of their way to make this casa a true home. Would recomend to anyone. Thanks again

Highly Recommended!
My fiance and I were looking for tranquil relaxation this August and were thrilled to get that and more at Casa dos Palmas. The days were lovely, relaxing under our palapas on an empty beach with just a few neighbors nearby; floating in the quiet bay's soft waves and then jumping into the pool for a refreshing swim. The house was clean and comfortable with beautiful decor. We had everything we needed for the few rainy summer nights that rolled in briefly; satellite tv, dvd player with a great dvd selection, wireless internet and board games for entertainment. The staff that assisted us throughout our stay was friendly and helpful. We are particularly happy with the property manager Baldo who catered to our every whim and made us smile every day. Charlene & Gary were attentive and informative leading up to our visit which made everything move smoothly once we got there. After our wonderful week long stay at Casa dos Palmas, we know we'll be back next year!

Relaxing Vacation
The property was well maintained (daily maid service and pool cleaning) and was near shopping and "tourist" attractions. The property owner advised us where to rent a car and the service was excellent. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away from it all - however, there is internet and satellite television service if you can't seem to let go. My best experience was Vallarta Adventure Zip Lines tour. Downtown Vallarta and Old Town were also beautiful. For those who want a marguerita when arriving, check to make sure they are not having a national election. We could not buy alcohol for 2 days because of this.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Caballito, the house is very charming, clean and comfortable, with all the amenities, the staff was very kind and took very good care of us. Our vacation included swimming in the warm and calm ocean twenty feet away from us, taking long walks on the beach in the afternoons, having dinner in the patio watching the sunset, having cocktails at the house’s own palapa, swimming in the pool under the stars at midnight, and yes, my husband was happy that he could watch US baseball and check his email too! This was a very special vacation that we will never forget…

This Villa has a gorgeous setting right next to the ocean The sound of the waves at night lull you to a endless relaxing sleep. The villa is roomy and beautiful. It is kept spotless during the week. We stayed for three weeks and would have stayed longer if it was not booked. Bucerias is fabulous . We have travelled to many places in the world and live in one of the very best restuarant cities in Canada. And to our surprises the restuarants here rose to the top. You can have elegant dining the best of Rack of Lamb or would you believe the best of pizza or ribs and of course lobster dishes. We are coming back in 2008 for at least 3 weeks. Thank you Jerry and Claudette you did not miss a beat to keep us satisfied. ****** in our memoirs.

This property is beautiful! The house is even better than the pictures and the pool and beach are wonderful. We spent our mornings on the patio, drinking coffee and watching the oyster divers... afternoons in the sun... and evenings having lazy dinners in one of the wonderful little restaurants up the beach. It was truly a dream vacation for us. We will be back next year!
