A cute place 🥰

a clean and quite quiet place, it would be even quieter if there wasn't a church nearby, not that I have anything against the church or faith, it's just that the bells ring every hour, so if you want to sleep more than 6 in the morning it's impossible, otherwise the apartment is clean, spacious, bright. a bit far from the center, about 2.5 km and it takes about 20 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by car if you have one.the owner was nice, he gave us wine, snacks, olive oil, honey,thank You !

Perfect quality for price

Big apartment, spacious balconies with great views over the neighbourhood and mountains. Stelios, the host, ensured that we have everything we need and also gave us small oresents during our stay. Nea Chora beach is within 12-13 min walking time, plenty of big and small supermarkets in the area and you must try the food from Ligo apo ola restaurant, on the way to the beach. Would certainly come back again if in Chania!

There were some small cleaning issues at the beginning but the host solved them quickly and ensured us that it was not something usual. The AC in the living room is pretty outdated

Overall, the apartment was passable, but definately not as expected and not worth the price, while hospitality was once

- The owner Stelios was very polite, he also got us a present the last day (wine and chips with a note), which was very thoughtful, so hospitality was great. - TV had free Netflix - Location was good, 10 min to the closest beach Nea Chora and 15 min to the city center, very calm area - There were 2 air conditioners, one in the living room/kitchen and one in the bedroom

- The real condition of the apartment is not the same as in the photos. It is not extremely bad, but there are some hidden spots not covered by the pictures on booking, for example: 1. A black stain in the working surface of the kitchen area. 2. The air conditioner is leaking direct on the balcony of the living room. Also, the air conditioner of the living room has a lot of yellow rusty stains 4. The view from the balcony of the bedroom it is like in an horror movie, you are literally watching to a depony (no bad smell, but a lot of dirty thrown stuff, very messy) 5. The door handle of the bathroom is falling off sometimes if you actually want to close the door, but if you are not closing the door then is good 6. Weak toilet flush, the water pressure is very low - you have to flush it a few times and wait a bit, so be careful what you eat 😅 7. The trash can behind the toilet was very greasy and dirty 8. No ventilation in the toilet and the window cannot totally open 9. The electric kettle had a bit of a dirty water inside (not that relevant, you have the stove with hot plates, but still, it could have been cleaned up)

Amazing stay!

The apartment was as described, clean, spacious and bright. Located 15 minutes from Old town, and 10 minutes from the beach. There’re parking spaces nearby. Mr. Stelios was friendly, helpful and especially very nice person 😊 Thank you, so much for everything! We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully we will be back soon.

Beyond our expectations

Il proprietario, Stelios, è stato disponibile e gentilissimo dal primo all'ultimo giorno, al nostro arrivo ci ha fatto trovare frutta fresca, acqua, vino, olio e miele di sua produzione. L'ultimo giorno ci ha omaggiato del miele da portare a casa. L'appartamento è pulito e ben arredato, e ha tutto ciò che serve. E' molto spazioso e ha un terrazzo grande e vivibile, rispecchia a pieno le foto proposte. La posizione è ottima, lontana dal traffico principale e a soli 15/20 minuti a piedi dal centro di Chania. Il parcheggio lo si trova facilmente sotto casa, non abbiamo mai avuto problemi a riguardo. Questo soggiorno è andato oltre le nostre aspettative, lo consigliamo vivamente!

Ottimo soggiorno Posizione strategica

Posizione tranquilla e vicina al centro camminando 20 min. Stelios è stato molto gentile e caloroso. Bellissimi tramonti dal balcone. Ottimo miele offerto dal proprietario, speriamo di tornarci presto. C'è una piccola chiesa Ortodossa di fronte che ti porta indietro nel tempo.

Bene ma da migliorare

Ottima gentilezza del proprietario. Ambiente accogliente, parcheggio disponibile sotto casa. C'è tutto il necessario per cucinare in autonomia.

Peccato per il materasso e le lenzuola. Purtroppo un giorno non è stata disponibile l'acqua calda per lavarsi, probabilmente complice la giornata nuvolosa .

Exceptional

Nice and clean apartment with all the amenities. Mr. Stelios was so polite! He gave us as welcome gift some local products. Two days after we found a bottle of wine with some snacks and the last days he offered us a jar of honey!

Superb

Mr. Stelios and his wife are very kind and good hosts. We got homemade gift (honey, olive oil an some kind of Greek drink), also fruits and water. They gave us an umbrella to use during our stay. It's very clean, and there was everything like at home (dishes, kettle, iron, hairdryer). It is 15-20 minutes from city center, perfect for a walk. Terrace is big with nice view, so we had breakfast there. We used rent-a-car and there was always free parking place in front of building. They have all recommendations. 👌

The Church is near by, so we heard bells, especially on Sunday

Apartment has a free parking and old town is near, so you can take a wallk.

I booked an apartment on the last floor with the beautifful view which was big enogh for my family and I get much smaller apartment in the second floor. You have to be very careful, because the owner has same photos for all apartments. Ants were everywhere on the kitchen floor, under bedrooms balcony was barkling chained dog and sewer smelt in the bathroom. Local agency Holidays Chania which was responsible provider, refused to help us.

All you need for a pleasant stay in Chania.

Nice and clean appartment, located just outside the busy center of Chania. Everything in the apartment looks brand-new. We did not use the cooking equipment (4 pits + big oven), but everything you need for your stay is available. The beds are good, not too soft and not too hard. There is a nice balcony with table and chairs. Mr and ms Stelios are super friendly hosts.

Exceptional

Everything was just like in the description. Very comfortable apartment: fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, cable TV, fast wifi, close to shops and the city center (max 12 minutes on foot) But most importantly, we have never found such a fantastic host before. Thanks to him, everything was without any complications: check-in, stay and check-out. Very good contact by e-mail and telephone. And an exceptionally warm welcome ... Thank you Mr Stelios !!!

Nice place to explore Chania.

Big apartment, owner Stelios and his family do everything to make you feel comfortable. He was so generous and left big jar of honey, 2 box of nice Greece coffee, whole vase of fruit, 2 big bottles of water, crackers, bottle of olive oil….

We had a great stay here, and really enjoyed the neighbourhood.

The host was responsive and the suite had everything we needed, plus lot of extras: toiletries, fruit and some local treats. The location was great with a nearby cafe and short walk to the beach or the old port.

The bed wasn't very comfortable. However the linens were crisp and the host provided spares.

Great apartment and host!

The apartment is great, the rooms and balcony are spacious and equipped with everything you might need during your stay. The old part of town is a 15-min walk away and there are several supermarkets that are close to the apartment.There is also plentiful parking in front the the building in case you need it. Stelios is such an amazing host and everyone did their best for us to feel welcome and have a great time! We would really be happy staying here again.
