We had a wonderful time at the property. We were a big family and there were enough rooms and beds to accomodate all of us.
The kids had their own space and the adults could enjoy some quality adult time.

Like most potential customers we will read prior testimonials of other stays. A common denominator appeared to be cleanliness with a reply from the owner stating this would be addressed. Unfortunately this had not occurred as there was obvious poor maintenance and cleanliness. Dirty dishes, floors, accumulated dust and cobwebs. Kitchen benches were not clean, windows filthy. The bathrooms were acceptable. More information of what to bring would be helpful, ie no hand soap, minimal dishwashing liquid and no towels. The bed linen was well worn with an extremely thin quilt. Extra bedding was required for us to bring as allegedly this had been stolen in the past. Maybe the owner should increase the bond, if exists, to cover for losses due to theft. Overall experience very poor.

Great house for a catch up although I’m not sure the cleaner had vacuumed before we arrived. But hey, it’s only minor.

Had a wonderful time

We stayed only one night with 10 adults, all the amenities were provided as mentioned on the website, only disappointment is the cleanliness level of this property, everything seems dirty except bathrooms. Bed linen were used one, floors were dirty and filthy, dust and dirt everywhere. Could not sleep over the night as all rooms bed linens were used and dirty one as we did not carry our own one. It would be great If they could hire professional cleaners and met the hygiene requirements. Been so many holiday houses but never experienced hygiene issues on this level, otherwise everything was great.

We needed a place for 10 or us to stay for a recent wedding at Myponga. This house was perfect for a weekend away. The two lounge rooms and 5 rooms were a hit! We should have brought bedding however as the light quilt provided is more of a light rug. We enjoyed walking to the Normy hotel and Main Street. Close to the beaches by car. Would recommend for anyone in a big group. Others with us also said they would stay again. Excellent heating and cooling facilities. Lovely kitchen with all the equipment we needed to cook up a scrumptious bacon and egg Brekky. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your home.

The property was perfect in size and in a great location. Walking distance to shops and short trip to the beautiful beaches.
Upon arrival the property wasn’t as clean as we hoped so we gave it a clean. The bunk beds in one of the rooms wobbled enough that the kids didn’t feel comfortable in sleeping on it so we came up with an alternative solution.
Aside from that the property size was great and the host was easy to communicate with.

This place was unbelievable! Enough room for everyone to stay! Very modern, they had a baby gate provided for the stairs which came in handy when we forgot ours! Nice quiet town but very close to everything! They had a book provided that had everything local we might of needed! Games and toys for children! I cant recommend this place enough! Everyone had such a good time and the owners were great with contact, if i had to complain my only complaint would be the bbq is very tiny, but that would be just being picky! The stove inside had 5 burners and there was enough fry pans we ended up just cooking inside which was no issue! Im so happy with the price and quality of this stay!! Blankets were thin however we were notified of this and were packing our own anyway! The heating inside the home did not really require us to bring our own. Seriously i wish i booked longer. No words describe how much everyone loved it!

We had a wonderful stay in Normanville. The house had plenty of room for our family of 10. Location was great. Walking distance to Main Street and beach. As other people on here have mentioned the doona’s were not really adequate but overall we had a great stay.

House had everything you needed for a multi-family holiday. Good arrangement of bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and a second lounge room was perfect for giving the kids their own space. Large upstairs living area has good views to the low hills to the east. A quiet street with an easy walk into the main street and a longer walk to the Normanville beach.

Great size house to suit our family. The house had the amenities we needed and was a short drive to the beach and town centre.

Perfect layout for a large group. Location is good, away from traffic but still handy to shops and very good beaches, and my sons-law added, a good pub! The fridge-freezer had limited space and struggled to keep up, but we did have days with temperatures in the mid thirties. Take your own pillows and a couple extra tea towels.
Host is excellent to deal with. Prompt and courteous response to all messages. Definitely recommend this place.

House was nice and in good neighbourhood. We enjoyed staying there. Lots of toys for kids to play around. But there was only two toilet paper in two toilet. Had to use napkins for a day. Top bunk bed was rattling. So some of us slept on floor for three nights. No laundry powder at all and no extra blankets. Luckily we took some with us to use. Outside verandah was dusty and dirty. Play station was not working. Internet was very slow. So we use ours data. Even couldn't play our Netflix and watch movie.

Our stay here was short but it was fantastic, we had an issue which was a fault of our own where we didn’t bring Towels and the property owner sorted it out for us.
If you are looking to stay in the area the house is fantastic, short distance to the shops and beach.

All is well except for few missing things like (bathroom rugs and bins), barbecue must have been left untidy by previous occupants, one dining chair is defective. Also front door knob is hard to open until you discover it needs to be shaken simultaneously with opening it; master bed room fan remote not working or no instruction how to turn it on. Or could be battery issue.

A great property but could do with some maintenance and a deep clean

We had a wonderful overnight stay. This house would make a great holiday retreat for a longer stay with a large group. Don't forget to pack your own bedding and towels!

Nice and spacious home with ample number of bedrooms and beds. Clean and tidy.

Shocked to find no towels provided for an overnight stay for 4 golfers.
This should have been made clear before booking and the property would not have been selected.

The house itself is lovely and can stay a very big group of people. Only issue we had was that the house wasn’t cleaned very well when we arrived (10c can bin full on balcony, screen door was off on balcony, used cigarette butts in pot, cheezels under inside chairs and found some game pieces around the room). Not a huge issue but think the cleaner only cleaned the sheets! Still, the house itself was great and was an entertaining house 😀 I would go back for sure!

Decent House for a big group.
Fully loaded with furniture, games, books, crockery etc.
Location was good too, and so was the cleanliness of the house.
Only thing I didnt like was the toileteries werent present at all, at the property.
Overall, A real good holiday house.

Womens retreat
Lovely property!!
Well looked after , well stocked kitchen with cooking gear
Minor things missing ie hairdryer - owner notified , suggest take own bath mats & hand towels as not included but not clear in the details. Only light quilts on beds so in winter definitely take blankets . The bunk beds are not particularly stable - may suit kids but NOT adults so take into consideration if only adults going. Overall a lovely place with excellent communication from hosts !!

We are happy with the kitchen and dinning facilities, just not enough blankets to keep warm in the bedrooms and lack of towels.

A comfortable, spacious and well-equipped place.
We were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the house. The beds were comfortable and had a mixture of soft and firm pillows. The bathrooms were well-appointed and the large bath downstairs was a hit! The wide gas stove was impressive and the array of cooking implements and accessories made preparing food easy. We liked the entertainment spaces and the foosball table was great fun. Although we didn't use them, the collection of PS3 and Wii games would have occupied children for hours. A nice collection of books and board games ensured there was always something to do. Only a few minutes drive from the main street of Normanville made it an ideal location. Highly recommended!
