Shoreline Breeze is an immaculately decorated and designed 3 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom private home located directly on the sugary white sand beach on West Beach in Gulf Shores, AL.
You enter the home on the ground floor where you will find the first of three living spaces for relaxing and watching the large HDTV. This living space is equipped with a queen sleeper sofa and is perfect for the kids! Just up the first set of stairs you find a nice open floor plan consisting of the spacious main living area with large HDTV, an open eat-in kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless appliances, dining area, as well as small seating area for relaxing or reading a good book. Off the main living area is a large deck for taking in the great views of the private beach and Gulf. Walk down the outside stairs to access the outdoor shower and the private beach access for you and you guests.
Just off the kitchen is the first bathroom with tile shower and granite counter tops and the upscale laundry area with HE appliances. On the other side of the open living area, you will find the master suite. The master has a king bed, elegant decor, and HDTV. The master bath has a double vanity, granite counter tops, a custom stand-up shower, and a chic claw-foot tub.
Head upstairs to the third floor and you find the third living area with HDTV, sofa and chair, table with seating for 4, and Gulf front balcony access. We liked the property as a whole. However, the beds would need updating before we consider staying again. I feel like I have a permanent indent from springs in my back. We had 13 people in our stay and needed to use the pull out beds/couches. They broke and fell apart when we pulled them out. We had to rig them inorder to use them. The master tub would have taken an hour just to fill up to use. Disappointing, but the shower was very nice.
The drawers in the main fridge were broken to where you cannot store a lot in it, but thankfully there is a second fridge in the laundry room. Very limited cookware. We cooked often on our stay, and had to make a lot of purchases in order to do so. There was no oven mitts, cake pans, or bowls with lids. With 13 people, there wasn’t any extra towels either. One kitchen towel…so we had to purchase another and some kitchen cloths. The upstairs balcony is leaning, but sturdy. We didn’t go out on it for safety reasons. I was thankful that there was a lot of seating for dining. Two dining tables and stools at the bar. That was handy. The location was really great. After speaking to the neighbors and hearing what they rented their beach house for, I guess we got our moneys worth.

The facility is wonderful for 3 couples and a few children. However, someone that routinely cooks needs to visit the house and take inventory or try to cook a meal for the number of people that it is listed for. We do a lot of cooking when on vacation and this unit advertises a fully equipped kitchen. We had to purchase bowls, pans, pot holders, pots, and thankfully I brought a larger pot to boil shrimp in. Nothing that would keep us from renting this place again, it’s just an inconvenience when you get there and don’t have what you need. I think at one time there was a full set of kitchenware because there were numerous pot and pan lids but only 1 or 2 small pans. I messaged the owner and they were quick to respond and said that they would have housekeeping to take inventory upon cleaning. The grill was functional but not what was in the pictures online. Our stay was wonderful will consider this location again next year.

House is big and easily accommodated our group of 4 teen boys, my husband and I. The location was great! Close to everything but not an over crowded beach. We loved being directly on the beach.
The only negative about the home was the beds were extremely firm. So we didn’t get much sleep. We cooked a few nights but the house had no pot holders.
Some of the other reviews I had read mentioned the counter tops having tape on them. The tape is gone but counters were poorly installed which is a shame since they are pretty. That honestly didn’t bug me (since I’m not buying the place). There were also mentions of stained couches. Yes they are stained but again didn’t bother me. You can tell the house is rented often.
All and all it met our needs and I would stay again. I’d probably book a longer trip if the beds were more comfortable.

This place was perfect for our family. It definitely has some wear and could stand a few new things or updates. Such as new couch cushions (you can feel the frame in spots and it’s not as comfortable). The bed frames need screws tightened as it is very loud every time you roll over. Be prepared to bring pots, pans, paper plates & bowls. The pans are scratched up teflon and probably not safe to cook off of.
The shower doesn’t work at the bottom but we found a hose attached to a pillar that was great for getting the sand off our feet so we wouldn’t track it into the house.
Our private beach access was intruded upon by 20-30 college kids from the houses across the street. We almost had to call the police on them because they were urinating in front of our house. Fortunately my husband spoke with them and they moved and vowed to not do it again. The property management company was great to deal with over the issue. All in all, our family loved staying here despite the quirk’s because nothing is perfect and it’s a beautiful house with fantastic views and what’s not to love and be relaxed about! We are already trying to figure out how we can go back!

It was a beautiful home and spacious enough for 3 families, 12 people, to stay and enjoy their time. There is a piece of duct tape on the countertop but it did not take away from our stay. There’s also a weak spot in the floor by the window in the dining room, the furniture is stained up and older, but comfortable and kid friendly, none of this interfered with our trip. One complaint I have is the water pressure in the master bathtub was not good and would have taken a long time to fill that tub so was let down that I couldn’t use that beautiful tub. Water could be hotter. The house is big, the views fantastic, check in was effortless. Would rent again!

Absolutely Loved our stay here! The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. Only 2 bowls and 4 plates so plan to bring paper products. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone! Loved, loved, loved this rental.

The property is wonderfully located. However, it is in need of updating and maintenance. The upper level balcony is noticeably slanted, with boards popping up and off on top and bottom. The counter top is sealed together with duct tape and most of the outdoor lights do not work. There is also a section of the floor that has had water damage and does not feel super secure. The furniture is visibly stained and looks dirty. If coming in the next month or so, please be aware of the morning construction next door (didn’t bother us) and the construction workers parking their vehicles in the driveway is your rental (that was super annoying). The property has some really great features, but the little details are overlooked and the property not maintained as one would think with cost/fees associated with rental. There was a busted hose (weather related) on Christmas Day and it took about 3-4 hours for it to be fixed. The entire time water just poured—-it wasn’t an inconvenience for us, but when we called to report the problem we had to give our reservation number, unit name, my name, and phone number. It was very impersonal and not at all worried about the damage potentially being caused by the water. Again, the location is beautiful…but the unit needs some love.

The property has a million-dollar view... sitting right on the crisp soft sand of Gulf Shores. The views are amazing, the condition of the property is less than desired. The furniture is old and tattered with several pieces have rips in the upholstery. The kitchen island had a terrible repair job with duct tape. Overall, the condition of the property is in neglect and can be seen throughout. The Master bedroom had a broken window that sounded like a haunted house when the wind blew. The housewares were severely worn. The space was great for multiple families to share as I had my parents and a teenager and there was more than enough room for everyone to time away from each other. Everything was rundown, the pictures are accurate, just overall didn’t meet our expectations.

This home was just as advertised! Needs very few updates, living room furniture needs to be replaced and kitchen needs a little TLC but overall great place to stay! The view was breathtaking and the location was second to none! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

The house and location were perfect and we would consider renting it again. The house was also clean, but the sofas and chairs were worn and dirty. Our main concerns were with maintenance, condition of the furniture and lack of kitchen accessories/dishes. Upon arrival we were greeted by 2 full trash cans, torn and worn furniture, masking tape over a seam in the kitchen granite countertops, a dishwasher that wouldn't drain, a bedroom door that wouldn't close and a shower that drained really, really slow. I contacted the property manager about the trash and dishwasher and they responded quickly. When the maintenance technician arrived I told him about the door and the slow drain. He corrected the door and replaced the dishwasher but when we checked out we were still taking showers with water up to our ankles. To be fair I never addressed the duct tape seam, lack of dishes or the worn furniture because it didn't affect function, it was just evidence of lack of attention to detail. In summary, we loved the house and the location but wish the condition of the house would reflect it's amazing potential.

We enjoyed this property! Beautiful interior, comfortable and clean. the extra frig was a big plus! A few minor repairs are needed and the living room couch is worn out with springs "sprung" making it difficult to utilize.

Excellent family vacation
Myself, my sister, our husbands and two of our adult children stayed in this property April 14 to April 18, 2022. It was spacious and comfortable for all of us. Beautiful furnishings, excellent location, and plenty of pillows and blankets, towels and as expected. Perfect for this size group, and if there are younger children the property can accommodate several more of them using the bunkbeds that are in two of the bedrooms. If we had any more adults that we would choose a larger property. All in all though I would return here with this group of us because the state was absolutely fabulous!

Great potential but…..

Pros - almost private beach without crowds. Views are wonderful. Saw dolphins swim by. House is large enough to accommodate 3 families comfortably. Management is quickly responsive to concerns.
Cons: desperately needs interior upkeep. Peeling paint especially in kitchen. Beyond shabby. Master toilet seat looked to be 20 years old with chips. Probably the worst stocked kitchen I have experienced. 8 scratched plastic plates - not sure why a house that holds more than 8 people would have such few plates - and no bowls. Usually houses have a full set of dinner and lunch plates and bowls. Most of the pots and pans should have been replaced 5 years ago- they were unusable. Dishwasher was aged and didn’t clean well
Would go back readily if the place is upgraded. At present it is overpriced for the condition it is in.

Great Location but disappointing interior
The home was in a great location and views of the Gulf made me overlook some of my disappointment in the care of the property. The pictures were amazing but when we entered, it was not the same. The counter had duct tape holding a crack in the granite together and the painted cabinets were in dire need of repainting (you could see the wood color coming through). The whole house needed to be repainted, actually. We didn't have enough towels and we had to wash towels three times during the week for 4 of us. The furniture was dirty and some of the chairs were broken (dining and deck). The interactions I had with the property agent wasn't outstanding, maybe even a bit rude when I asked for an email to be resent (I misplaced it). I called for assistance on a Sunday and was told I would be contacted that day and no one called. I had to follow up the following morning and they were not very helpful in addressing the issue. I have stayed at many VRBOs and this experience wasn't at the top.

Family Fun in the Sun
Loved Shoreline Breeze - the overall experience was good: great location and house floor plan benefiting all 10 of us. The decor is even better than the pictures however the property could use some updating especially the kitchen area. Upgrading the refrigerator in the kitchen and the laundry room would help tremendously especially regarding the lack of ice maker. Also could use a few new basic necessities: silverware, dishes, electric can opener, new Keurig. No grill was major inconvenience: we were informed when we called 2 weeks prior to arrival that original grill was damaged in a storm and owner will not be replacing. We were told to buy our own grill but for a family who loves to grill every night it was an huge inconvenience. One of the upstairs bedroom doors wouldn't shut and the upstairs balcony was slanted. The shower curtain rods were rusted so badly they couldn’t be closed while showering. The shower handle in the master was broken. Lack of enough kitchen & bath towels and no garage light on the east side. Water pressure throughout house was very low. Overall layout of house is great just screams for a little TLC and major attention to these issues.

Just like the title very limited amount of people on the beach, mainly just families. There is a fair amount of deferred maintenance on the property but we could see that going in from the pictures. It wouldn't keep me from staying there again if I was back in the area because the location was so good.

Easter break
We liked the location and can tell the owners have tried to fix up the house some. Pics look nicer than in person. The living room couch was broken and you dropped 12” when you sat down. All the living room furniture is stained and the upholstered dining chairs too. The beds look nice but 2 of them squeak horribly every time you roll over. The master shower was clogged the first shower we took, but maintenance man was very nice and quick to fix. We had a very bad storm the last night and water was heavily coming in both the back deck door and the main front door. We were mainly disappointed that the living furniture was broke and stained since we used that room the most. For 4600.00 a week I’d like to stay in a place equally as nice to my house.

House has great bones but needs a facelift
Our initial reaction when arriving was that this house was perfect for our stay. Very spacious inside and a great location. The house was far from clean and really needs a lot of work. Most faucets in the house are loose and/or falling out of the wall. One of the master sinks was clogged. A window in our kid's room could barely be pushed and the whole thing would fall out (huge safety hazard!). We were missing a few basic kitchen amenities such as hot pads, dish rags, etc. The pictures showed outdoor furniture and when we arrived the decks were bare. And did I mention the cleanliness?? The bathrooms were less than desired in that regard. I did call the property manager and someone came out and re-cleaned the toilets. They also brought us a few outdoor chairs. Someone came out to inspect the window and told us a professional would need to come to repair. That never happened during our trip so we were quite nervous about that window in our kid's bedroom. This house would be perfect with some deep cleaning, a touch of paint and new fixtures.

Overall great stay and place
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shoreline Breeze! There were a few upkeep maintenance things that could have been made but it was gorgeous otherwise and met our expectations. We booked again for next year and cannot wait to come back.

Exterior of property had much debris, broken furniture & grill, downed gutters & fencing, broken siding & styrofoam, boxes & trash strewn throughout the exterior of home, on decks, patios, carport & beach front dunes. (Looked like storm damage that had not been removed)

Great location right in the beach. Very large house with plenty of room for a big group. Only issues we had was the trash outside around the property and the house needed a few repairs due to the hurricane a few months ago. Overall a great place to stay for a reasonable price. Would stay here again.

Great vacation spot!
Our vacation was great, despite the pandemic! We arrived late on Saturday and were able to come into the house just fine. The house has a ton of space for our family of 5 to spread out and enjoy the relaxation. We were able to take a small walk to the beautiful beach! We saw dolphins every morning and sea life! My favorite was the sting ray that swam by one day. We hope to go back! The only thing I would say is that there were signs that the house was kind of “beat up” or not treated well by renters (scud marks on walls, window treatments rods falling, etc) but it was clean! If we all do our part and respect the owners properties then we will all be able to enjoy places like this even more! I recommend this one to everyone!

Beautiful location
The house was great but, it needs a lot of work to look as it shows in the pictures! Wasn’t as clean as it should be and we had a few bugs. And it would be great if it had better steps down to the beach. We almost had an accident a few times. The location was great and the beach was beautiful!

Poor Maintenance
I received a call from the property Manager Saturday during our drive to the Beach. She said the dishwasher was not working and would be replaced on Monday. It was never replaced and no one ever called. There is no excuse. I could have driven to any number of stores, bought any number of dishwashers and replaced it myself. I do t mind wasting dishes, but this was vacation, and with COVID the higher degree of sanitation would have been preferable.

Looks can be deceiving.
The photo online looks perfect. However, the home had several leaks, the bedroom windows literally dropped on their own which was extremely dangerous and then would not go back up and stay closed. This allowed warm air to come in along with the rain. We went through several towels to absorb the water. There was mold on the curtains from previous leaks so the extreme weather was not the first time these leaks had happened. There was also mold growing on the air conditioning vents in the ceiling along with constant dripping water. The light in the master bedroom even leaked during the rain. The couch beds were very uncomfortable and had many stains on them. The location is perfect, but this home definitely needs a huge upgrade to say the least. The contractor had also left an old door, old lights with screws sticking out of them and moldy trim laying on the bottom deck near the trash. If we would have had children with us I would have been very upset. This was not at all a safe situation for children. A lot of money for so many issues.

Great beach getaway
We loved staying at this house. The location is perfect for someone who wanted to get away from the crowds. Easy access to the beach. Simply walk downstairs and go over one dune and you’re at the beach. Amazing views of the ocean from the house. Loved it and the entire gulf shores area. Would love to come back.
