This hotel was a big part of making my stay in New Bedford enjoyable.

I loved being able to walk to restaurants and major attractions in downtown New Bedford. We just left the car in the parking lot for our 3-day stay. It was convenient to have the restaurant/bar and spacious lobby available. The space is very contemporary and uncluttered.

One oddity: the bottom sheet refused to stay on the mattress. I suspect that new mattresses were purchased, but they're too thick for the old sheets. Annoying. The temperature control for the room was excellent, but there was a fair amount of regular HVAC noise from the ceiling. It didn't interfere with my sleep, but it might for some folks.

Overall nice place, will likely stay again.

It was convenient and clean, staff at the desk was nice. Hotel parking was great to have!

Would have liked to have towels and garbage changed during the stay.

It overall suited its purpose.

Historic downtown building.

Not enough furniture in the big room. Only had one desk chair. So that meant that the only other place to sit was the bed. Not great for handicap room. Also the bed was too high, my mom couldn’t get in it. Had to get a step ladder from the front desk. Not a good bed for a person with restricted mobility.

love the style/decor

needs to be cleaned up a little, and staff needs to be better trained, it seems as though some staff had friends hanging out in lobby and rolling blunts. Not the experience I was trying to have, I have stayed at this hotel 4 times and it’s definitely gone downhill.

The bar/restaurant was very nice the bartender and cook (Reese) were polite and very friendly

The year on floors, metal outlet that touched the mattress.(1st room). Small room with small bathroom, same price? Well I will go to visit the base again but will not stay there again!

It is not a luxury hotel, but priced right for what you get and we would definitely stay there again

The location was great, and the staff was extremely courteous.

Our room (203) was laid out in such a way that it was difficult to maneuver around luggage, etc.

Overall, it did not measure up to the standard we look for in hotels.

It was centrally located to the downtown.

We got locked at one point. Our room keys stopped working. Things were clean but run down.

Used this hotel as a base to explore New England and the history of first settlers

Staff was very helpful and always worked quickly to help us or others with any issues. Location was right in downtown. The bar for the hotel was great. Room was very comfortable with flat screen TV too.

Room ventilation was a bit dirty, my allergies were acting up every time we came back to room. We stayed during weekday but on final night of Friday the local area got loud past midnight. The doors to rooms all slam so when other people use their door you are woken up.

breakfast was not good due supply problem. But I think this sign they use long time. I payed for room $345. Add $10 but give real breakfast. This is not continental breakfast. This is breakfast on the island after hurricane. But it is not staff problem. They all were very good.

great staff- rooms need a touch up

good location and friendly staff

the room needed some maintenance addressed. loose bathroom tile, badly scuffed walls and baseboards. Ceiling clearly had water damage and needs to be scraped, patched, sanded, and repainted. While the room was comfortable and fine for one night, it did not meet the standards set by the hotel advertising.
