Staff were excellent
Room 11 needs a new mattress...too soft

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the beautiful livingroom and on the wraparound porch each day. Kind staff. Even spending the entire rain-out day in the place was fun.
The Narragansett House is perfect for this village. Perfect mix of fresh and clean and tidy and also original wood and authentic, rustic aspects. Prettily decorated. I had rented the smallest room, and it was fine. If I do a larger room with balcony it will be even better.

Very convenient location clean rooms and the staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and afternoon snacks and wine and cheese were excellent.
The rooms were very small and the bathroom was even smaller, but clean.

The staff was pleasant and so accommodating ! They truly took care of every need!
This isn’t a complaint because it’s a ‘beach house’ and at the same time I could not walk through with out my feet getting Uber dirty. carpets need a good cleaning!
5.0
Very close to Ob Center, Inkwell Beach, and ferry ports
Bathroom was a bit small for someone over six feet, but the charm well outweighs any negatives.

The breakfast and location were excellent! We were within 10 minutes walking distance to everything. We met the owners who were very nice and informative.
We liked everything! It would have been nice if transportation was provided to and from the airport. Also provide face clothes and towels for the entire stay in the room therefore guests don't have to request daily.

This is our second time staying here and we can’t wait to return again. The front porch is our absolute favorite. The staff is exceptional and the whole experience creates a sense of calm that is just unparalleled.
Not a thing. It’s all wonderful.

Bed was comfy, walking distance to beach and stores and restaurants.
No parking...yet it says parking in description. Floor in my room could have been cleaned better along with hallway carpet. TV way too small!!!

Narragansett house cheated us because when we checked in at night on July 18 we found the rooms was too small and only about 80 square feet, but when we booked the rooms it was said the room was more than 800 square feet. The manager said it was booking.com’ mistake and he don’t know why it happened. He said he would report to his owner. The owner came here and said sorry to us and would charge us for the first night and we could move out of the hotel in the morning on July 19. As we came to MV first time , we have no idea about MV. We booked the rooms based their rooms’ size posted on booking. com. But they are liners . And we had a full schedule on July 19, so we we didn’t know where we could move. At the same time my friend hurt her right foot on July 17 , so it is difficult for us to change to anther hotel. We told the owner that we would think over how to deal with. When we finished our sunset sailing and return the hotel ,it was already 9 pm on July 19. It was impossible for us to move to other hotel. We called the manager and told him I would like to talk about the solution about the problem of room’s size. The manager said the owner had slept and would talk with us at 9:30 tomorrow. We said we would wait for the owner. But in the morning on July 20, we didn’t see the owner until 9:45. Then I saw the manager passed by and We said to him where his owner was. He stopped and pointed to a woman beside him and told us she was the wife of the owner. After we said to her good morning, the lady said to us they provide us the first night free and we didn’t move out on the second day ,so it means we accepted the rooms and they can’t provide the second night free. The lady was not polite and rude because when she talked with us her finger pointed to us and so loudly. Her attitude is unacceptable for any clients. We said what we wanted was that we should be treated fairly, no cheating. We need fair solution and ask her correct the wrong data about the area of the rooms .
The wife of the owner was angry to us . We are confused as we were cheated by them , not them. We ask for the fair solution , nothing else. She said she was so generous to provide the first night free . We are not begging for anything from her. Why did she treat us like this? Even we didn’t finish our talking, and the lady and the manager went away. When we checked in and found the size of the rooms was different from the size posted on booking. com , we had complain to booking. com.We think that the hotel and the owner must correct the size of the rooms posted on booking website, apologize to us for their mistakes and their attitude, solve the problem and our complain . At the same time , we ask for booking. com to help us to solve problem and take his responsibility. So the trip to MV is terrible because what the hotel and the owner had did to us.

It’s a beautiful, comfortable house in a fantastic location!

While tiny, the room was comfortable. The TV could have even a bit larger, but again what made the stay quite lovely was the location and the staff as well as the owners who went above and beyond to make sure l and all the guests were well taken care of. Thank you your superb customer service and care! Blessings, Rev. Dr. Lorena
I really have o dislikes.

Absolutely amazing staff from the moment we walked in. So accommodating and pleasant. We loved this property and couldn’t recommend it enough. Great proximity as well.

This was our 2nd stay at Narragansette House so Price and expectations were perfect. I prefer a little firmer mattress but was fine. Great breakfasts wiith different hot item every morning like quiches of different types. Yum. Also the fresh breads and muffins were great. The location is also wonderful. Walk to town and walk to beaches were just minutes away. No traffic or load neighbors. Nice quiet restful environment. Staff were extremely congenial, conscientious and helpful.
I think we will prefer a bigger room next time but only because we had a longer stay and brought quite a bit of stuff. A bit more shelving in the bathrooms would help.

I liked the period style and design of the home, it fit the geography of the island. Waddy and the staff were the friendliest people I've met in a long time. It was hi... how's your stay at every encounter. Even the younger adults that worked there have such great manners. It was refreshing.
There was nothing that I disliked! The stay couldn't have been better or more relaxing.

The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to restaurants and places of interest. We brought our bicycles, and the lovely flat bike path was a very short ride from Narragansett House. Our host, Waddie, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He truly made us "feel at home". We were fortunate to have a balcony off our bedroom where we enjoyed our breakfast of warm croissants, muffins, fresh fruit and delicious coffee. This was our first visit to Martha's Vineyard, but we look forward to returning to this charming, historic B&B.

Staff was awesome! Beds were exceptionally comfortable, though room was small very very clean!
Nothing!

Architecture is beautiful!
Our room was small. Got locked out of our bathroom and my husband went on the roof to go through the window to open door where the doorknob had fallen off! Waddy thought the door knob had been fixed! Breakfast was a muffin, bagel or
Croissant with a banana, apple or grapes! Expected more for the price! Property is run down.

The location was convenient to shops and restaurants. It was located on a quiet street.
The rooms were small!
The breakfast was very limited and the same every day. No other snacks available.
The coffee was only available for a short time in the morning.

Convenient to everything in Oak Bluffs! Walked from the Ferry! Relaxed and comfortable. Awoke to great coffee and breakfast daily and ate it on the big front porch! Waddy our host is gracious and knowledgeable about the area!
Stayed four nights but wished we stayed a week!
4.5
Waddy, the host, is most accommodating. Comfortable and clean. I am sure without the Covid restrictions, I would have been even better but I highly recommend this B&B.
Had to ask for towels daily.
