About this villa rental
The panoramic views that greet you as you enter the property through the front gate are breathtaking, and you know exactly how it got the name Sea View Villa!
The wide, spacious paved entrance area leading to the villa's front door has amazing views of the sea, the Black Rock and the Luz village and hinterland. This main terrace area continues round to the front to include the living room terrace and there is also a kitchen terrace at the far side of the villa. Opposite the front door, steps from the wide terrace lead down to the fabulous pool area which also has terrific sea views.
From the villa's entrance hall there are glass doors leading to the spacious open-plan living area comprising lounge, dining area and adjoining kitchen, and from the entrance hall stairs descend to the bedrooms which are on the cooler lower level.
The attractive lounge has comfortable seating and doors to a veranda with fabulous sea views which overlooks the pool. A table and chairs on the veranda invite you to relax and enjoy the local foods and wines while taking in the panoramic sea views into the bargain. There is a large flat screen TV with English and international channels as well as a Hi Fi..
The adjacent dining area has a dining table with seating for 6, and the nearby kitchen is separated from the living room by a wide breakfast bar with stools.
The well-equipped kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher as well as a coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster and ample crockery etc. for your needs, and there is also a washing machine, iron & ironing board. The kitchen opens onto a small sunny terrace with a table and chairs which also has a sea view.
The living area has air conditioning, and there are fans if required in the cooler bedrooms downstairs.
The Master bedroom has a 6 ft bed, built-in wardrobes and a newly upgraded en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet, and there are doors to a terrace overlooking the pool.
Bedroom 2 has a large double bed and built-in wardrobes and both bedrooms open onto the sunny terrace. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and built-in wardrobes.
The main bathroom, beside these two bedrooms has a bath, shower, bidet and toilet.
Sun loungers on the spacious pool terrace invite you to top up that tan, and there is a built-in BBQ nearby.
The split-level villa is on a large plot with a variety of terraced areas on different levels and with different aspects. There is a bright indoor games room with a ping pong table which is accessed from a lower terrace.
The villa is surrounded by fragrant colourful plants and climbers which add depth and character to this charming villa which is ideal for a fantastic 'get away from it all' relaxing family holiday!
The villa is walking distance to the centre of the charming village of Luz which has lots of restaurants, some bars and supermarkets and a fabulous, sandy Blue Flag Beach. Near the beach there is a wonderful paved area and promenade with seats shaded by large palm trees where you can sit and enjoy the views of the beach, the sea and the lovely coastline. There are market stalls and cafes near the beach and sun loungers for hire, and there are two water sports centres at the beach offering a range of sports and trips.
Boa Vista is the nearest of many golf clubs, about 5 minutes by car, and there is a good riding stables about 10 minutes away, with various other sporting activities are catered for in the area.
From Luz you can walk to coastal path westwards to Burgau, Salema and beyond, or eastwards climbing up to the beacon on the headland and continuing on to Porto do Mos, Ponte da Piedade, Praia da Dona Ana and Lagos. This path is obviously not suitable for small children or buggies!
Lagos is the capital of the region and has an illustrious history, with sturdy defensive town walls and castles still in evidence inside of which the narrow cobbled streets are packed with shops, restaurants, bars as well as old churches and lots of dwellings along a myriad of small streets. It is also a very friendly, easy going town with a super waterfront and a large modern marina across the river and a handy pedestrian footbridge to cross the river. To the east of the marina there is a 4 km long stretch of sandy beach called Meia Praia, while back on the city-side of the river there are some gorgeous small coves nestling between huge cliffs. Lagos has a large daily fish market and a weekly farmer's market both of which have staggering choices on display, and well worth a visit.
The coastline to the west has wonderful beaches, coves and fishing villages while the western coast, which is only about 20 minutes drive, has miles and miles of stunning coastline with huge cliffs interspersed with beautiful little coves and beaches with Atlantic rollers that attract many surfers all year round.

Gran ubicacion

Lovely relaxing break
This Beautiful villa gave my family and I the chance to relax and unwind. The villas sea views were impressive and we were able to eat meals looking at the ocean. The Pool was lovely , a bit chilly, but refreshing after being in the sun. The walk from the villa to the town and beach was a quick 10-15 minute walk. The town is full of restaurants and we enjoyed eating at everyone we visited, particularly ZaZu, a delicious Thai restaurant. The beach is a beautiful sand beach with plenty of water activities including jet skiing and plenty of water equipment to hire. Overall the Villa was perfect , great location, lovely pool, lovely views! Would Love to return.
