We enjoyed the screen pirch and surrounding woods. There was a plumbing issue, but the host was very responsive. We would stay here again. My only suggestion is to provide wine glasses in the house.theho1vresponsive. Wohere again ( 1

Wonderful stay in Highlands. Just 4 mins drive into town. Peaceful setting with great porch. All the modern conveniences

Perfectly fine for one person and a dog, lovely screened in porch looking out on woods. Great proximity to town.

Great place to land each evening after a fun day with family!

Great property very close to town (5 minutes). The screened porch is amazing. Very spacious with living and dining areas. The property is well appointed, although I will note that there is no dishwasher. That was not an issue for us as we dined out most afternoons and evenings. I would stay there again. The property and neighborhood was very dog friendly. Highlands also has a very nice dog park that is easy to get to from this property.

Great location as it was a very short drive into town and to the grocery store. Some steep turns and roads to get to the house but once we got there, we really enjoyed the screened in porch and the space in general. Carole was quick to respond to the one question we had and the checkout process was simple with clear instructions. Thanks for the hospitality!

I was in town primarily to attend a class, then my daughter joined me for a couple of days at the end of my 7-day visit. I was under the impression that this was a stand-along guest house on the property of the main house. It's actually attached to the main house, which was perfectly fine. Very private, nestled in the woods of a small, quiet neighborhood less than a mile from downtown Highlands. There were some issues with the cleanliness of the awesome screened porch and other minor details in the house, but the owner was very responsive and took care of having the porch cleaned. I enjoyed my stay and will possibly return in the future.

Lovely, quaint cabin in the mountains. Great location! Very small, but all we needed. Carol was very accommodating even offering early checkin and checkout and supplying wood as temperatures were to be in the 20’s!

The porch in fall is worth the stay. Comfy beds and clean, fresh decor made for a refreshing and relaxing stay.

The house was fine, but the weather was excellent!

Really nice efficiency apt. Carole was so easy to work with and helpful. Even provided some firewood as it got down to 33 at night!!

This is our third time staying at Carole’s place and we’ll return again. Perfect for 2 people. We love dining on the screened porch and sitting by the outdoor fire pit after a day of hiking. Very close to downtown Highlands and restaurants, shops, entertainment. Very quiet immersion in nature but with all the luxuries. Our favorite place to stay.

What a comfortable, peaceful place Carole has for rent. Excellent layout, she is attentive and responsive, and quick with excellent recommendations on restaurants! Loved the porch and plenty of quiet. Rarely do you find such a gem. We will be back.

We headed to Highlands to escape the Georgia heat and found relief on the back porch of My-Hi. We did not prepare a meal there but the kitchen has everything one would need to do so. Bedding was very nice and bathroom appeared to be recently remodeled including a stackable washer and dryer. Parking was a breeze as you pulled up right outside of your quarters. We are already trying to plan another stay soon!

Although I don't think you can walk to town from this unit, it is very close. You can drive to town within 5 minutes. Very convenient to everything downtown has to offer. I loved the screened porch.

Property listed as "totally private guest house" but is really a basement with other renters living above which you can hear. No heat except 2 portable heaters, shower curtain liner covered in mold and mildew. Not horrible, but certainly not worth $300/night.

Quaint cottage with very nice host. Communication with her was very quick & responsive. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen utensils & dishes. Walking distance to town but traffic & minimal sidewalks.

Cozy apartment with a real fireplace. Only negitive was the tv remote was difficult to operate.

Nice place to stay, quick drive to downtown.

Quiet and woodsy surroundings. A perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. Yet it was close and convenient to town.

We were contacted by the host three days prior to our arrival date telling us that the property was not available.
We were offered an alternative property and accepted it. We purchased tickets months ago for an event nearby. Our accommodations were a bit dark. The bed linens were musty and the home could use freshening. It has great potential, but missed the mark for me.

Very nice place! Close to downtown but very quiet and private, well maintained and well-furnished in every way, and check-in was easy. It's a bit cozy inside, but plenty of room for a couple, and the large screened-in porch adds a lot of room. We'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place tucked into the woods. It is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy being in the mountains. It is close to the town center but not walkable.

Perfect little cottage!
Loved the porch, the quiet, the feeling of being tucked into the woods. The cottage is perfect for two people
We were there for 5 days, very convenient to town but secluded. Carole was very attentive, even bringing us a small fan because Highlands was experiencing an unheard of heat wave while we were there. We really enjoyed Carole’s My Hi cottage and will go back again the next time we are in Highlands! 🤩

Good time in Highlands
Close to downtown, only a little over a mile out. Easy to get to our events in town. Cute place with everything we needed.

Cozy Retreat
Sa-Hi provided all we needed for a long cozy retreat weekend for my wife and I. Close proximity to downtown Highlands was perfect for quick excursions for meals and then back to the house. Carole graciously offered us an upgrade and was a great host! Quick to respond and very pleasant! Highly recommend!!

The guest house was clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet, cozy space for our weekend visit to Highlands. Carole was great about communication and was accommodating when we had requests. If the weather had been better, we could have walked to the plaza and downtown but the drive was short and parking was easy to find.

Fall Visit
Great small home for two and the puppy. The screened porch was perfect for a fall day and the fireplace made a couple of cool nights cozy.

Highlands Trip
Property is acceptable but less that what was expected. "Screened in porch" is misleading as bugs and other flying insects can enter area since porch is not totally screened in. We had hornets and / or wasps in one area of the porch. Cleanliness of property is marginal - - we have stayed in much cleaner VRBO properties. Furniture is not comfortable - - love seat and large chairs are out of place for space involved. Bar chairs also very uncomfortable. Firepit chairs were not cleaned upon our arrival and really not usable. Property is on the edge of Highlands but you certainly cannot walk to town from property. All in all, we would not recommend this property.

This property is not air conditioned! This is NOT disclosed in the property description.
The property is listed as 1 mile from downtown. From Main Street center, it is closer to 2 miles. I am a big fan of walking the Highlands area but I would not consider this a walk into town location.

Very comfortable and convenient cabin!
My husband and I stayed here for a wedding and it was absolutely perfect! It was furnished with everything we needed. We wish we could’ve stayed longer to explore more of the beautiful town. We loved the fresh flowers left for us and the screened in porch was awesome!

A Lovely Cottage
My husband, fur babies and I stayed at My-Hi for about a week and had a great time. The cottage is updated, tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The porch was our favorite hang out, you’re surrounded by woods, birds, and fresh mountain air. Town is a stone throw away. The driveway is a little challenging but we got used to it. Carole was attentive and answer questions timely.
I would definitely stay there again.
