This property exceeded our expectations! It is so much more cozy and beautiful compared to the pictures on the listing. The decor was tasteful and homely. The location was superb, so close to conveniences without any of the noises of a bustling street! It was great to go for just a walk up or down the mountain road, and had one of the best restaurants in the area right on our doorstep. At night it was so relaxing to sit out on the grassy well maintained back porch and listen to the night critters. For all the noise of the bugs, we didnt find a single one in the apartment. There is a pool too! Can it get any better? This place is a true treasure!
Maybe to have a few more pots, pans, and utensils in the kitchen? Luckily we did not cook but it may have been a problem if we had planned to.

Property listing could be updated - there were 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, which was incredible. I was worried about light given it was a garden condo but there was plenty, as it was on top of a hill. There are tennis courts (1 functional off season), a lovely not so busy pool, and perfectly situated location. Host was accessible and helpful. The value was amazing. There was a not small yard and supereasy access to the pool. The unit may be due for a little updating and it looked like that was happening. (We were there off season, Feb 2022)
Not everything was stocked as we're used to with such rentals, but we told the host and were reimbursed for anything we purchased. The photos make it look like this place is near the beach but it is not. It would be nice to have a little more orientation on best places for groceries (was much closer than we realized) and information on accessing local beaches, just a little orientation guide. But these things are minimal.

This was a very comfortable stay! Our host checked up on us a few times which made us feel welcome. The wifi worked great. The apartment is very spacious, 3 large bedrooms with plenty of beds and 2 bathrooms. We very much enjoyed the King bed in the master and en suite bathroom. The ACs worked fantastic which is so important on those humid and hot days. You don’t need to keep the ACs on that long either cause the apartment cools down quickly and stays quite cool.
I loved drinking and eating breakfast in the outdoor patio area. There is a large outdoor dining table, and hammock.
There were plenty of beach towels, we also saw 2 little beach chairs and a very large cooler in the closet.
I enjoyed how close we were to parking and the pool. Very short walks to the both. The grounds were always clean, and the complex is very secure and safe!!
My daughter fell in love with all the cats at the complex, especially the ginger cat. She was so sad she couldn’t say goodbye to the cat before we left. 🥰 :) We would definitely stay again.
Tips: You absolutely need to rent a car! We love the Bakery & food truck spot in the Palmer area of Rio Grande. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Famcoop grocery store is near by for all your grocery needs. H&J Adventures in Fajardo does an awesome Tour of El Yunque. You’re only 25 mins away. Must do!
This apartment is an older unit with some outdated furniture and features. If you’re looking for a modern feel, this isn’t it. But, this does not take away from the comfort. The apartment is warm and welcoming.

What I liked was that it was quiet, the beds were comfy, the host called to answer questions, and I felt safe at the location. The pool was a plus and the beach and food was a close drive to get to.
Checking in at gate they had completely different names so it took some back and forth calls to get situated.. The pictures on the website make it seem like that little pool that was a kids pool is actually a jacuzzi/ hot tub WHICH IT IS NOT. Lastly they advertise the listing with “room service “ but this is a reference to uber eats and not room service at all. I am so thankful I decided to get a rental car before checking in because nothing is walkable especially with the children and so if it weren’t for that, I would have been miserable and stuck at the property. Make sure you get a rental car and the beach has an opening to enter about two miles down the road when you take a right out the property then a left and follow down to the brown metal doors. Thankfully asked some questions and found this because host recommended to go to Luquillo beach, which is a beautiful beach too but was not trying to go so far each day. Lastly the one bathroom in the master suite had luke warm water at best, we all had to shower in the other bathroom.

Loved the location. Communication with the owner was very good. The property was clean and comfortable. Security officer were courteous and friendly.
Wanted to make breakfast at the condo. Pots and pans need to be replaced. Was told by security that I needed to reserve the pool ahead of time and there was a two hour limit.
