This property is like a little neighborhood tucked away above Banff and was perfect for our family! We took the bus down to town and back every day so we didn’t have to worry about finding parking. The pool / sauna area was our favorite hangout with gorgeous Mountain View’s. Would absolutely come back!

Quiet place to stay - beautiful. Grills available for folks to use as often as you like and great whirlpool with beautiful view.

Check in was good - friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen was serviceable, bathroom was well stocked and clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Hot tub area was clean, but got very busy and full come late afternoon and evening. The bus pass was handy, but the frequency of the bus is not great. The flooring could use a really good cleaning or replacement. Someone had cooked bacon prior to us arriving and the smell stayed in the place for the 3 days we were there.

Our family spent most of the time out and about so the single story rental worked fine. It was easy to get to. The things we would have liked were if it was closer to town and/or had a restaurant or bar on site.

Banff was wonderful and the staff was exceptional

The staff and premises were very enjoyable. We loved the wood fireplace in the unit and the hot pools! The only downsides; the unit is outdated (but very clean) and the sauna is not hot enough for a good sweat.

Very clean, easy checkin and great amenities

Stayed here for a night, place was as advertised! Had a great stay no issues, would stay again.

Overall our experience was great. The condo was clean and well equipped, we really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the condo. Nice and cozy! I would have liked to extend our stay an extra night and used the hot tub/ sauna. Our only minor complaint would be the parking, or lack there of.
We will definitely be returning.

Hidden Ridge was the perfect location and set up for us. The free bus system was incredible in that we were able to get from the resort to the downtown bus location for the free ski shuttle. Through our host, we were contacted by SkiBig3 on how to obtain lift tickets and have them dropped off at the Hidden Ridge Resort.
Having a kitchen was a priority for us. A huge bonus was the well-maintained shared gas grill right outside our condo. Loved the hot tub/pool with its incredible view.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful , room was clean but was not anywhere near as nice as the rooms were shown in the pictures . Old and outdated .

A great location. Just a few minutes from town. Hot tub view is incredible.

Loved the location, check in was excellent. The pictures showed a condo with stairs leading to a loft. When we arrived, we were told that we did not have a condo with a loft and it was only one level. The front desk offered to upgrade us at a discounted rate, to the property in which we expected. But it ended up costing us more than we originally wanted to spend . We didn’t have a choice, considering there were five of us. We were happy with our stay. The boys really loved the outdoor hot pool. It was -37 and they still enjoyed it. This property is not right in town so you will have to drive, taxi or take the bus to go into downtown Banff.

Great place to stay in Banff
We upgraded to a two bedroom plus loft unit and had a fantastic time. The accommodations are perfect and the location is great. Fantastic view of our balcony.

Disappointed with price point
Room was disappointing, fruit fly infestation, smelt like cigarettes smoke, and dark & not what was shown in the pictures. Front desk staff was friendly & upgraded us from the mail floor to the loft. Much more spacious & comfortable. Patio door didn’t lock though, and the screen was broken.

Misleading
Before booking I looked around extensively to find an outdoor hot pool that was open. I asked 3 times before booking if the hot pool was open and each time I was told by Leavetown property management “Yes. Every morning you can book your hotpool time for that day”
When we checked in (for my birthday weekend) we were told we could only book a hot pool time “ONCE PER STAY NOT ONCE PER DAY”
I was so upset as it was the SOLE reason I chose this place so I could sit in a hot pool after a long day of skiing. I thought they were very misleading. I should have saved money and booked somewhere else had I known I was only going to be able to use the hot pool once in THREE DAYS!
So people who pay for one day get to use it once and people who pay for 3/4 days only get to book it once. Completely unfair for those who book longer stays.
It wrecked my first night there as again it was the reason I booked this place for our mountain birthday skiing getaway. A little more transparency would have been much appreciated.
I get that with covid restrictions they are trying to fit everyone in, but why weren’t they more upfront about the rules before I booked?
When checking in the lady helping us knew i was disappointed and “upgraded” us to a room with two bedrooms. She made a big deal out of it because it was apparently a more expensive room but we couldn’t have cared less about the second bedroom because we are just one couple. Second bedroom was not touched.
I’ve used VRBO around the world many times and have always been very satisfied but this time it was disappointing.
The rooms have fireplaces and all three nights we tried to get the fire going but with wet wood it was impossible to build a fire. We just had a lot of smoke and gave up.
The resort itself was cute and the hotpool with Mountain View was amazing. It’s just the booking staff being misleading that was very disappointing.
I will save money and stay somewhere else next time.

Good stay
Only issue was room was a lit run down but overall it was okay.

hot tub heaven
Customer service was so nice, helpful, timely, best I have ever experienced. The condo does get quit smokey with whatever problem in the construction that allows smoke from others fires into your condo. The flue bladder maintenance installed helped some but not completely. Just to let others know it is a little smokey in the condo.

Lovely weekend get away
really enjoyed our stay here for the Banff film festival. Our condo was so cute and we loved sleeping in the lofted area. Everything was clean and all the staff we interacted with were really nice and helpful. Loved the hot tub and sauna area! Would stay again for sure.

The service was great but the place needs an upgrade
When we arrive in the area, check in was fast and smooth. The room was okay. Needs a little bit of upgrade. Parking was also a problem, no reserve parking and you have to be early to get a spot. The hot spring was nice but it was too small for all the guests. You have to be early to get your own piece of peace. Check out was fast and staffs are very courteous.

Smell from the wood fireplace in the room. Other than that, it was beautiful and exceeded our expectations! The room upgrade was also very much appreciated!

Great accommodations in beautiful Banff
Listing was as described, and checkin and communication was very easy. Would recommend.

Nice Property
Property was very nice. Took 10 minutes on the bus to Banff town centre and 40 minutes to return. Check in process was excellent and girl at the desk couldn’t have made it easier.

Banff
Only comment I would make is that the inside of unit was very dated. Needs to be updated . Front desk people were great.

Over Priced
Disappointing for the price of the room. Rooms are in need of paint and updating. No view.

Great town, okay accommodation
I was under the impression that these were individually owned condos (vacation rental by owner) but seems the owner owns the whole development. A benefit of this is you can change units if the one you start with doesn't fit your needs. Many items were in disrepair such as sinks not draining, old, stained carpets, broken curtain rods, and oven drawers (on both units we rented). The hot tub is a nice feature of the property and the view from the hot tub is beautiful. We found the unit with two queen beds and a pull out couch to small for 4 people (3 adults, one teen) and half-way through the stay we moved to a 2 bedroom, plus loft at a large premium (50% more). The staff was friendly and it was nice to have access to the grills which were cleaned daily. At the end of the stay my bill needed significant corrections by the manager due to error by staff. The location is a 30 minute walk to town and there is a free hourly shuttle bus. If I return, I may stay there again with different expectations. Banff itself is amazing!

Great location close enough but not too close to Banff
Everything was as advertised. Staying in Banff with the tons of other people was not ideal, but this was out of town a bit (30 minute walk) and that was good. Having a full kitchen was very convenient and the appliances worked well.
The condo is at the lower level, split underground in the back, kind of dark inside. We turned all of the lights on, they could stand to have brighter bulbs. Next time I would go for one of the upper units. There were a couple of issues with the place inside that were taken care of promptly after a phone call. The beds were a bit lumpy but worked fine.

Good condo in a nice location
Our family of four enjoyed our stay here. The property was in a very nice location in Banff, and the kitchen facilities were good to have. We enjoyed hanging out in the pool and hot tubs as well. The unit was cozy and comfortable, but as others have noted its a little bit dated and the appliances could use updating. But all in all it was a good experience.

Amazing
Amazing hotel. Only complaint is that we were near the pool, and when it got hot in the room at night we opened the windows to cool off and could hear everyone screaming at the pool. But, would 100% recommend this place to anyone staying in banff.

Banff is incredible!
Such a great time I’m Banff. The property was nice, clean, and well equipped. The only note that I have is that the view from the room is not what I expected based on the photos. It’s possible that I misunderstood, but the pool and hot tub are in a communal area near the main building. That’s the area with the great view. Even with that said we’d still recommend the place and will stag there again when we return to Banff.

Lovely Loft
What a lovely view from this loft! The hot tub on the deck was wonderful albeit not quite hot enough. The loft windows have few blinds, so if you're light sensitive bring a sleeping mask. The staff were awesome, everyone was kind and helpful. There's a shuttle to town, because parking in Banff can be difficult. Leavetown was so gracious to us. We left a day early because of bad weather, and we didn't have to pay for the night. So kind!!

Every convenience handy
This property was located in a perfect spot just outside of but within walking distance of town. The views are amazing. Also, they had everything we needed, including bbq tools, gas grill, rental bikes, loaner bear spray cans, laundry facilities, and a hot tub which looked out over the mountains.

Very nice rustic condo. Perfect for a ski week!
Really enjoyed the natural fireplace! Easy access to Banff. Close to Sunshine and Norquay. Beautiful 45 minute drive to Lake Louise. Scenery is beautifully rugged! View from the hot tub is outstanding.

Perfect for our Winter Skiing Getaway
Hidden Ridge Resort was fantastic. We have 2 small children (5 and 7) and the 1 bedroom condo with a loft was a PERFECT launch point for all of our winter activities in Banff / Lake Louise. The condo was extremely clean and well equipped. Stocked with firewood and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic for the cold winter evenings. we can highly recommend this place. was a great getaway from the hustle of downtown Banff, while easily within reach of everything you need.

Nice location. Dated condo.
Hidden valley resort is just up the hill from Banff. Very convenient. Had hiking trails around the property. Communal hot tub, heated pool, and dry sauna. Our unit was dated but functional. 4 stars because the unit and appliances could really use as refresh.
