This is a gorgeous property overlooking the cliffs of the Adriatic Sea and Lama Monachile Beach. The location is in the beautiful historical district of Polignano a Mare.
We didn’t get to stay longer.

The property was located perfectly for everything with a really lovely view form our balcony and a lovely terrace. The staff were super friendly and helpful which is always a nice welcome.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this property. I would just advise to people staying that car park isn’t located on property ( a 7 min walk) and it costs €28 per day to park but apparently Pulgia is known for cars getting stolen (we were told by our car rental) so having somewhere safe to park was ideal but bear in mind the extra cost as per night at the hotel wasn’t cheap either.

Unbeatable location ! Very central with spectacular view. Also loved the in-house bar and restaurant . Excellent food (international cuisine), good vibe too. Friendly and welcoming staff. Parking can be organised by property.

Best location and AMAZING staff.

You probably cannot find a better location than this. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the beach down below. Room is spacious with a big comfortable bed. Air-con is excellent for keeping the room cool, albeit a little loud. Once the music turns off around midnight (it is loud, but we were on holiday and only there for 2 nights and quite drunk on those nights so it didn’t bother us) we would sleep with the balcony door open rather than the air-con. We didn’t have breakfast on either morning which was our choice, but we saw it being made and it looked excellent. Staff super helpful as well. Nice welcome drink on the amazing rooftop bar. They also offer you free beach towels and a bag to take to the beach below, which is extremely convenient.
The only reason I didn’t give this a 10 was due to a damp smell coming from the bathroom. We were able to close the bathroom door during the night to stop it, but I get the feeling this is probably the reason it has come about over the course of summer. Understandable with the location and proximity to water and possible lack of air-flow. This might have just been our room, so worth asking to avoid this one if possible while booking unless it has been resolved.

Location and view from balcony are spectacular, rooftop bar is great (good cocktails) and room was quite spacious.
Communication was poor - I tried to confirm car parking a number of times via booking.com in the days before we arrived and never received a response - then when I called they said they were 'just about to message' but nothing came through. (To be fair, my number was wrong in the booking but I corrected when we spoke over the phone and was primarily using booking.com messages) Unnecessarily stressful :/ Room is also a little noisy given its under the bar.

gorgeous location and friendly staff. rooms are simple but have a fantastic setting
you are paying a premium for the location but not much else justifies the price

Staff was exceptional, they went out of their way everyday for us for anything that we needed. Location is amazing.
Our bathroom smelled pretty bad like sewage, had to keep the door closed. Beds were a bit stiff.

amazing location and view from the room
Breakfast seemed a little bit disorganised and there were lots of chips of paint falling off from the ceiling and walls onto the furniture

Wonderful location and excellent staff. Amazing to visit such a lovely town and stay here.
Air con struggled with the Italian heatwave!

The location of the hotel is great, what a view. The staff especially the chief was outstanding looking after us at breakfast each morning and going above and beyond when our transfer cancelled last minute. The upper deck has an amazing view and great for drinks.
My only comment is the paint from the roof of our room was peeling off in tiny bits and we would have white paint chips on the bed and floor in the morning. Our air-conditioning kept turning off which was a bit of a pain.

Really wonderful setting perched on the cliff edge overlooking the sea. The staff are brilliant - they couldn’t e more helpful - for example we had problems with our hire car and Marino was the one to sort it out - nothing was too much trouble. The memories of our stay will remain with us for ever !

The people make this hotel! Marino, Cristiana, Sergio, Massim and the cocktail master Salvo, we’re all incredible and played their part in making us feel welcome and our stay exceptional. The rooms are lovely, beds comfy, and they have an amazing roof terrace which is the go-to spot for watching the sun set. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
