Beautiful Brooklyn Brownstone
David and Lara are the best hosts and have such a beautiful property in Bed-Stuy on a lovely, tree lined and quiet street. The location is excellent as the subway is round the corner, the supermarket is only 5 minutes away and there are plenty of bars/restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Would highly recommend!

A home in NYC
We are local New Yorkers. We stayed at David’s place during our 6-week home renovation. The apartment is on the first floor of a brownstone, situated on a beautiful and quiet street only 2 minutes away from the A/C subway station and multiple bus lines. There are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants one or two blocks away. David’s family is very friendly and welcoming, constantly checking with us and responding to all questions and needs immediately. Their two daughters gave our small kids a tour when we arrived and left us with plenty of toys. We felt at home and I can’t say how much we appreciate their hospitality. If you need a “home” in NYC, I highly recommend David’s place!

Clean, cozy & close to the city!
The apartment is squeaky clean, well kept and the owners are very helpful, and readily available to answer questions. Our family of four enjoyed the stay very much. The subway is a jump, skip and a hop away, and we were in Manhattan within 30min., on the A train. Wholesome Foods is just a couple of blocks away and it stocks natural and organic foods-yay! The same store sells hot and cold food too where we saw a lot of locals and NYPD officers ordering to go. We felt safe coming and going, even at night when we came back at 11p.m. after attending a concert at Radio City Music Hall. The place next door was listed for sale by the Ryan Serhant Team featured on Million Dollar Listing, and that alone was a thrill after we saw the video of the listing on his website. We were here 4 nights and didn’t get to see everything that NY had to offer and we hope to be back for what kids are saying will be, Part II! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This apartment is nicely renovated and well-maintained. The owners live above the apartment, and are quite attentive and helpful. David was quick to assist with any question or need. The subway station and a supermarket are both just two blocks away. We were very pleased with this apartment.

Perfect apartment for New York vacation
We previously stopped in hotels but having the kids this time made sense to pick an apartment. The apartment was exactly how I expected it to be and David was very helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect. Less than a 5 minute walk to the A and C line to Manhattan. A good supermarket within 10 minutes. Would definitely choose this apartment again if we come back.

Lovely old brownstone apartment. Close to A train subway if you want to go somewhere, plenty of restaurants and a nice grocery store within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Stylish and spacious apartment with easy access to the City
David was a perfect host - incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any query and made it easy to reach him. The apartment is really lovely with lots of space and storage, beautifully but comfortably furnished and very well kitted out. There is a comprehensive guide as to how things worked and lots of menus from local restaurants to try.
Having a garden was a treat and the children loved playing on the swings. The air con units worked brilliantly as it was quite humid and hot when we stayed.
Having the subway so close is a real bonus even more so with it being on the express line into the city. The neighbourhood has some useful shops locally and we got great coffee from Paris Dakar cafe. It’s very much a developing area so can feel a little edgy but it’s a good location for the city and for easy access to JFK and the apartment is excellent
Really appreciate how welcome David made us feel and what great help he provided. Would highly recommend it.

Authentic Brooklyn experience
We had a very nice stay. The unit we stayed in was charming and very clean. The garden in the back was lovely. David was super nice and helpful. He worked with us as we came in late on our first night that and even managed to secure us a parking spot. Subway is close. That said, the parking was a little difficult (we got a ticket) and the neighborhood itself was a little scary (in the beginning phases of gentrification). However, that didn't prevent us from having a great experience, and I would totally stay there again.

No sleep till Brooklyn
Great space for a couple or small family like ours. The courtyard out back was really nice for morning coffee. We really felt like we had an authentic New York experience. Never having spent time in Brooklyn, it was great to check out Williamsburg, Park Slope and the Dumbo areas. Convenient subway station around the corner gave us easy access to Manhattan. The neighborhood was a little gritty after dark though, and there really wasn't much within walking distance. Every outing required a train or Uber.

Very comfortable
Brilliant place. Clean and well equipped. Our 2 year old loved the swing out back and playing with toys. Good white noise machine to help them sleep. Very tastefully decorated appartment with everything you could need. Nice to explore a different part of city. Very good access to Subway into Manhattan and to Children's museum. Great base for exploring. Host v responsive and extremely helpful. Thank you for a great stay.

Weekend Stay
Fantastic hosts with excellent suggestions; From good restaurants to avoiding rookie NYC tourist mistakes. Place is spotless and really tastefully done... real furniture with little to no Ikea. Just like the pictures. This was perfect for a family of 4 and so much better than staging in a cold industrial chic or dated hotel.

We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Close to food, transport and sites. The owner was available and immediately responsive

Spring Break - NY
"Easy Access to Manhattan" is definitely the case with this apartment. The A and C are great lines to have access to and the subway entrance is super close to the apartment. Manhattan is wonderful, but we also loved exploring Brooklyn. My husband ran around Prospect Park a few mornings and the family walked over to the Brooklyn Art Museum and Botanic Garden. We also took the subway to Brooklyn Bridge Park and walked around that area. David (the owner) recommended Barboncino Pizza on Franklin St. Delicious. He was also extremely helpful with answering questions and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.
The apartment provided enough room for the four of us to have our own space and privacy when needed. Groceries are close and we didn't need to go out for breakfast as we had the full kitchen. And it was very quiet so the kids were able to easily sleep in. All in all it was a great trip for the kids to see NY for the first time and to visit with family and friends.

Perfect weekend getaway!
We came to NYC to celebrate a birthday weekend and fell in love with this apartment. So many architectural details are beautifully preserved yet modern amenities abound. The location is close to the subway and coffee shops, restaurants and delis. It was the perfect home base for our adventures in Brooklyn and Manhattan. David is a gracious host and always available for questions and recommendations. Highly recommend and will visit again!
