Nothing waste of money

Firstly the room I booked they gave me different.The room was stinking, humid , alot of ants , ac waa dripping all the time so much noisy , no facilities given and they charged alot

The worst Hotel ever.

Rooftop Restaurant View

No amenities in room. No hot water in shower. False claim that there is a spa in the hotel. TV, Phone kettle, room card key not working. Terrible and cold breakfast.

I don’t like anything

You have mentioned that the pool was clean but it’s ugly and also there is no soundproof inside the rooms, next to my room guy talking it’s disturbed, also the room location and balcony next to cemetery. I don’t know who rate that hotel as 5 star it’s not like hotel it’s looks apartment type not worth for that money. If you have strength to pay back some % of money do it.

Decent and comfortable stay but not worth the 5 star status

Customer service and staff helpfulness/friendliness. Also an excellent breakfast selection. Exceptional size of room, comfort and cleanliness.

Broken things in the room such as shower head coming off or not operational, sink being blocked, AC temperature not being adjustable. Wifi was also not available for long periods, and was very slow. They were also reluctant to give us a second room key despite it being a twin room. There was also very little noise insulation between rooms.

Nada a destacar

Hotel ubicado en ambiente tranquilo con muchas ofertas de restaurantes alrededor. Habitaciones cómodas. Dispone de restaurante/bar de copas en la azotea con vistas a la ciudad. .

El restaurante no dispone de ninguna opción vegetariana por lo que tuvimos que cenar fuera. Buffet de desayuno con poca variedad y de calidad media-baja. Se respira clasismo y querer aparentar elegancia. El personal nos llamó a la habitación para mover el tuk-tuk (vehículo con el que nos movíamos) del parking principal a atrás en un cuarto de basuras (y no era por falta de espacio ya que el parking estaba vacío).

Heerlijk verblijf in een mooi hotel

Heerlijk verbleven in dit hotel. Prima te doen om overal heen te gaan met de tuktuk en ook genoeg op loopafstand. Staf is zeer vriendelijk! Omdat we een nachtvlucht hadden, konden we zonder problemen na het uitchecken gebruikmaken van het zwembad en in de lobby van het hotel onze laatste uren in Colombo doorbrengen.

Nice short stay in the city but a few things could be improved

Location , rooftop pool , Clean rooms

Very thin walls so can hear next door neighbours very clearly. Also guests staying should be able to create a tab to pay at the end of their stay- for extras like drinks and breakfast . I went to bed and was woken up to pay for my bar bill one evening even though I asked if I could pay it in the morning as I had 2 more days of staying at the hotel . I was constantly asked by staff what room number I was staying in, which I understand staff need to know, but informing staff once when ordering a drink should be enough for them to bill the receipt too, guests want to feel welcome and that they can relax and enjoy their stay , not just like visitors .

Second time here! Absolutely loved it 10/10!

This is my second stay at Trillium and we absolutely loved it! As usual, the room was clean and smelled fresh as we entered the room. This time we decided to eat at the rooftop bar and catch the sunset as well. Service was quick, Prabodhana the pool attendant was quick to give us our towels and made sure that we were comfortable. Food and drinks was as good as the last time! I hear they are planning to launch a new restaurant by the end of this year, hopefully we’ll be back by then! Special mention goes out to Ishara who I believe makes the best iced coffee in town. Absolutely love staying here!

This is not a 5 star hotel and they should change the staff.

Nice hotel, not the typical sri lankan accomodation.

This hotel does not have the facilities of a 5 star hotel. Rooms were nice but there was a really weird smell. Breakfast that is included has just a few basic options and it has nothing to do with 5 star breakfast buffet. Lastly, the staff. At first, everyone was nice and welcoming, but it changed the day we were supposed to leave. We were basically kicked out of our room at 13:00 even though the check out was at 14:00. It would not have been a big deal if this wasn't the reason why we chose this hotel. We wanted to relax a little more before going to the airport and traveling home for more than 24 hours. We couldn't normally comunicate with the staff, they were repeating that we have to check out, because other people are already waiting for the hotel room. We couldn't discuss it and we left for the airport early.

Very bad staff and dirty hotel

This hotel is very dirty not like it seems in the pictures and there was no service or help from the staff even they have a bar but they can't serve us the food and when we were checking out the reception guys they were asking for more money with no reason like they want to rob us It was a very bad experience to be honest the worst hotel I've ever stayed in sirilanka

Amazing

The room was super comfortable and the bathroom had everything i needed! (All toiletries were provided) . Room service was fast and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had an early dinner at around 6pm on the rooftop and the sunset was unreal 😍 the phad thai and nasi was to die for, definitely the best nasi I’ve tried in colombo!! Planning on staying at the hotel again and also coming with my friends for dinner very soon! 100/100 💯

Perfection!

The rooms are furnished to perfection and have the right kind of ambience to make the stay feel as cozy as possible. The food and menu needs a few more additions but probably some of the best food I’ve tried in Colombo (I strongly recommend the Pad Thai and the baked crab) my wife and I ordered this twice in one day! The rooftop and the view is just fantastic, the kind that makes you want to stay!

Good hotel in Colombo

I really liked the room as it was spacious and had a nice design. We also enjoyed a good breakfast and the view from the rooftop pool. The hotel employees were really nice and helpful.

The only thing we didn't like was the smell in the room due to mothballs in the wardrobe but when we asked the employees to remove them, they did it immediately.

The beds were very comfy. and the view on the rooftop terrace was exceptional.

pool was dirty and a lot tiles were broken. room was dirty. the “garden view” is a view on a cemetery. birds all over the all over the place. it was that I already payed for the room otherwise I would have left.

Excellent staff. Should promote the hotel more especially the rooftop pool and bar.

Location was great as it's close to family. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Prefect place for a single traveller or a couple. Had breakfast there limited choice's but good, Sri Lankan breakfast was nice highly recommend.

Toiletries/ toilet paper need to be replaced more often. Would like fresh milk for tea and coffee as had no milk. It was a little noisy with people in next room, could of had more gap between guests as it wasn't full.
