The parking was really inconvenient. Need some other options - particularly with pets.

Locations was superb for my conference.
4.1
Fabulous location, across the road from the theatre and walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in Civic. Close to parking. Lovely reception and rooms.
Nothing - we loved it

Nice central location in the heart of Canberra City, staff were knowledgeable about local attractions.

The location was perfect for me to get to the Canberra Times Marathon start line. I love that there was a 24 hour gym. I always stay at the Sebel Civic when I attend the running event in April and it never disappoints. Easy to check in, easy to get around. Thank you
The TV in the gym was a bit hard to operate and the pillows were too soft in the room. But that is not the worst thing in the world, and definitely did not ruin my experience here. I might just bring my own pillow next year.

Central location
Lack of parking.
Was told by reception staff that shopping centre parking was free…. It wasn’t :(

The location of this hotel is excellent, and as we have a small dog it is ideal that it has pet friendly rooms.
The room did smell a bit and was a little dirty around the skirting boards, also there was only one wine glass.

Beds and room exceeded expectations and were comfortable, clean and good quality
There is no parking. We had to park in a shopping centre car park and walk two blocks with our children and all of our luggage. We had to repeat this process any time we wanted to leave or return to the hotel. In addition a garbage truck and the sound of broken bottles being dumped from a bin in the alleyway woke us all up at 5am.

This is the third time we've stayed, we love the cleanliness of the rooms, tidy and not too small. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for us when getting around in the city via uber, cab or walking. Restaurant is an added bonus although it was closed this time we stayed.
Only real criticism, and not something they can change so happy to overlook, inability to open a window for airflow or have balcony rooms on offer. The rooms can get a little stuffy, the aircons work great the three times we have stayed but there is nothing like natural fresh airflow.

Good location in down town Canberra. There's no parking on site, but they gave us easy cheap options in the area.
The hotel was good, especially for the price. It would have been good to have had an app streaming capability on the TV, but it wasn't a deal breaker for the cost of the room.

No much parking terrible

Parking for one night it cost me $16 as the staff didn’t notify me of the ticket I could have received from the desk. The staff lady also said I would be reimbursed for my cost of parking that I am still waiting, also if Sebel was not going to reimburse me that they would call me this hasn’t happened as well
Not happy
Parking cost $16 over night

I recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to express my appreciation for the friendly staff at the front desk. They were exceptionally kind and even treated our dog with great friendliness. However, the lack of parking spaces posed a bit of an inconvenience for us, especially with children and a dog in tow. Having to park far away made the journey quite a bit longer. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, thanks to the welcoming and accommodating staff.
NO parking space.

Location was very good and the room was clean.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I was very disappointed to have to ask reception for a mattress protector to be put on our bed. It really was not something i should have had to do when you are paying over $400 per night. i was also concerned about the hygiene standards with a sheet is the only thing between us and the mattress.
4.1
Pet friendly, location right in the centre of the city, near Canberra Centre and there's a bubble tea shop within the hotel
Parking can be challenging but the hotel does give out discounted flat rate parking ticket/day

The perfect location, could walk everywhere, helpful & friendly staff, beautiful views from windows, quiet at night for a good sleep, comfty beds, very clean & fresh.
Shower pressure was a little low but it was not a true problem.

location and facilities are great, comfortable rooms and super spacey.
no parking is always a huge let down

Very close to the Central Canberra. Good restaurants
No Parking at the premise. That was the biggest downside. Every time we had to walk 15 mins to the parking at Canberra centre.

The staff
The location. A total pain with no parking available on sight for those of us travelling by road

Looked after my pet. Had never brought a dog to a hotel before
Lack of parking

Great location, right in the centre of city. Room on 8th floor had lovely views, was very quiet and beds super comfy, so a great night’s sleep. The kitchenette was compact but by far the best equipped of anywhere we’ve stayed previously, it had everything we needed and more.
A bit slack on replacing consumables - teabags, hot chocolate, dish detergent sachets, tea towels, but not a big deal in the overall scheme of things, just a bit disappointing. We didn’t have, or need a car, but parking might be an issue if you do.
