It was our 4th time in the past 6 years (due to COVID). The house has newly been refreshed (paint). Just love the location and the porch is my preferred spot. Thanks Ken for your attention to details.

House was just right for my family--clean, comfortable, spacious. My teen sons enjoyed the basketball court across the street. Short walk to beach/restaurants/shops/Marginal Way---yet street itself was quiet and not much traffic. Nice to have a washer/dryer, and the kitchen was great. Perfect Maine weather made it an amazing vacation!

The house was perfectly located to where our family reunion was held. Walking distance to everything. Everything was clean and the perfect space for us.

The location was absolutely perfect. A quiet neighborhood and block away from the village, a short hop to marginal way and the beach. The downstairs was spacious, the front porch delightful. Upstair bedrooms were more than adequate, the downstairs bedroom was small and connected to a small bath. Kitchen was well stocked with exceptions of no laundry detergent, or garbage bags.

Great Location, Wonderful Home
We had an amazing time staying at this property. The house is so conveniently located to many of the shops and restaurants in Ogunquit (less than a 5 minute walk to The Front Porch). The house had so many amenities that made our stay very comfortable and the enclosed porch area made for a wonderful evening spot to sit with everyone. This will be the place we stay for any other trips back to Ogunquit or southern Maine.

We had a great stay and really took advantage of the location...barely using our car all week!! Ken was a great host and came right away to mix a minor problem. The house was clean and well stocked. We had plenty of room and the front porch was just perfect!! We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful home in excellent location!
This house is better than the photos. It was spotless. It was plenty roomy and comfortable for 5 friends. The owner, Ken, was working in the garden one morning and was lovely to chat with and was proud that we found the house to be so great.

We had a wonderful week
Beautiful, conveniently located property. We walked and bicycled everywhere from here. The house is nicely appointed with plenty of room for the 4 of us (myself, husband, two adult children).
Ogunquit was still hopping in late September 2020 when we came. A few stores closed during the week but there were still plenty of restaurants and shops opened. All were able to accommodate requests for outdoor dining.
Overall, we had a spectacular time in Maine.
Thank you to our host, Ken, who provided all that we needed.

Fantastic! Super clean, great location
We were thrilled with our stay at the property! The house was extremely well kept, tastefully decorates, very clean, they even had provided us with extra cleaning supplies to use during our stay due to covid-19 circumstances. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, etc making it easy to eat any meals in. The covered porch was a perfect spacious area for eating a meal or relaxing, the main living area was very comfortable as well. Either upstairs bedroom had plenty of space for a pack’n’play if you’re traveling with small children.
The location couldn’t be better for the beach and both the Main Street of Ogunquit or Perkins Cove. Ken was a highly responsive host which was great when we had a quick question.
My only minor complaint, if you could even call it that, is the air conditioner upstairs is in the hallway, making it necessary to leave bedroom doors open to cool them effectively, so it got a bit hot if you closed the doors for privacy. It’s an old house though, so I understand cooling options are probably limited.
We would 100% book the property again next year!

We spent a wonderful few days over Thanksgiving in this home. Everything is exactly as pictured. It is spacious and cozy and Ken was very accommodating, responsive and helpful. This is within walking distance the beach and marginal way and I especially loved reading time out in the heated porch! I highly recommend this property.

Perfect vacation!
Cannot say enough great things about this house. It's so clean, the bedrooms are perfect size and the overall location couldn't be better. Great to be across for park for the kids - felt safe and secure from the moment we pulled in the driveway. Ken was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Can't wait to go back next August!

Perfect House, Perfect Location, Perfect vacation!
This house is just as shown. Very clean and roomy. We stayed with another small family and there was plenty of room for everyone. It's perfectly located in town and a six minute walk to the beach. All other tenants staying on the property were pleasant and no noise issues at all. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful,Great Location, Perfect for Families!
House is in great condition, stayed in many other Ogunquit homes (including on School and Church St), and this was by far the nicest. Attention to detail is great - plenty of storage, washer/dryer, everything in great shape. Downstairs has small bedroom off the kitchen w/ bathroom, almost an "in-law suite". Large living and dining area, and large 3-season porch. Upstairs, two large bedrooms (VERY comfy beds, and I have a bad back, so I'm picky with that), and an open foyer up top with a pull-out twin couch.
Location is top notch for village and beach, very quiet neighborhood at night. Was concerned going in that other nearby/attached rentals would make it noisy, that concern was COMPLETELY unfounded, the house is well built and quiet as a mouse. Playground across the street, literally, so you can sit on porch or front steps and watch the kids. Amenities are perfect, backyard is very nice with a good grill and two tables to share with other nearby rentals.
Did not have a single issue during my stay, but communication with Ken before and after the rental was always very prompt - clearly the owners stay on top of their game, and everyone else who was in the adjoining rentals seemed to be a repeat customer - we will be too - a great quality home in a great location with good management? That's a home run! Thanks, Ken, for everything - we'll most definitely be back!
One more note: I feel like vacations, especially beach vacations, are often colored by the weather. And while we had GREAT weather, my wife and I reflected, repeatedly, on how we WISH that we had stayed at this house the previous year (when we had terrible weather). Lots of rooms, three different T.V.s, we had 6 people stay over (and with day guests, at one point 4 adults and FIVE children for dinner one night), and NEVER did we feel crowded. There is something to do said for having a nice home to relax in if the weather doesn't cooperate, as it sometimes doesn't, and 44 School Street fits the bill!
