Located in a century-old Victorian home in the Historic North Hill District of Downtown Pensacola, this studio apartment is full of charm. With original hardwood flooring and plenty of amenities, our “Hide-Away” is as cozy as it gets! We provide everything you’ll need such as kitchen essentials, toiletries, linens and a private entrance in the back of this historic home. Take a walk over to bustling Downtown Pensacola for local favorites such as Jaco's Bayfront Bar & Grille or Coffee Cup Restaurant. No matter what time of year, Pensacola is always hosting events - we are dubbed the “Festival City of the South” after all. You’ll have easy access to I-110, Pensacola Beach and Naval Air Station. We provide everything you’ll need such as kitchen essentials, toiletries, linens and a private entrance in the back of this historic home. **NO Washer/Dryer**

This was one of our very best VRBO experiences. HOST: Our host was great. We had decided to add another night before we came. The date was available and she got it taken care of for us with no issue. When we arrived she made sure our check in has gone smoothly. Then, I had mentioned how we loved the space but it could maybe use a full body mirror. She brought one for us right away. She was extremely kind and responsive, I was so impressed on how great the experience was. LOCATION: I’m a huge fan of more historic neighborhoods. The house is in a great location for getting around. It’s just off a main road. I like to take morning walks and I was able to walk through the quiet neighborhoods without getting on the main road. Palafox market and the historic downtown is about 10 blocks away and we felt it was a nice distance for walking or driving. There is a nearby local organic grocery store (Evermans) that is really charming and has all the things you need for a healthy meal. There is also a Walgreens, dollar general and Publix nearby. There is a nightlife in the downtown area and we might check that out next time. THE UNIT: The unit was exactly what we needed. We were in town to visit my dad without our children. We brought lunch meat and other items to make quick meals for ourselves. Having a stove, mini fridge and some other kitchen basics was great. We really liked the patio area to chat and enjoy a morning coffee. RETURN: We will be back! Thank you, Cynthia!!

This tiny home was perfect! Although it was small, it was very charming and cozy, and was very affordable for us to stay in. We loved how much effort the owner put in to make our stay enjoyable, and had a great time!!

Great location and great price. Would defiantly stay there again. Would highly recommend a comfortable chair for the guest. This is the one thing I missed while having coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening while checking messages, etc.

Very clean and comfortable. The street was busier than expected, but it also made traveling to other parts of town easy so a trade off. Off street parking was very convenient. We felt very safe here. We would stay here again

The check-in process was efficient and the host was courteous and professional. The property was reasonably priced and “as advertised” with respect to amenities and access, but its condition was a little “tired.” Its proximity to a major road resulted in significant traffic noise, day and night. The position of the bed required one occupant to climb over the other to get in/out of bed, and the unit would benefit from the addition of a comfortable sitting chair. Bottom line…not a bad place for a 1/2 night stay where you are not spending much time in the unit other than sleeping. For anything of longer duration or requiring more robust amenities, you may want to consider another property.

Perfect stay for the beach

This was a part 2 to our Florida Vacation so we didn't want to spend a lot. I loved this place. It is small, but its just fine for 2 people. We had no issues with the property as you might with older homes.....it's part of the charm. The location was perfect, we could get to the beach within 20 min. The walls are thin so watching TV after 10pm seemed to bother the neighbors even with a volume of 8 so we had to continue with subtitles only for the night. All in all, no complaints. The unit had way more than we expected!

It was an older home but it was clean and our host Cynthia was very nice and wanted to know if there were any issues. All we wanted was a cool place to sleep at night because we were gone most of the day to the beach area. Thank you Cynthia!

This is a beautiful older home. The room can only occupy 2 people as described. Our room was clean and functional. There was minimal lounging room (the bed basically) and very limited storage but it was sufficient for what we needed. We enjoyed visiting with Cynthia. She made us feel welcome and gave us suggestions on which beaches to visit and which restaurants to try. We would book with Cynthia again.

We didn’t need anything fancy and didn’t need anything on the beach. We wanted a small place centrally located to just about everything and this delivered. Small kitchen, bed, and bath were all we needed. The only “negative” is that the only place to sit is either on the bed or one of the stools with the fold-up table. We made due with using the beach chairs provided or sitting on the bed. We would happily stay here again or in any of our host’s properties.

Finding this place was easy peasy! The parking was good, and near the entrance to the apartment. The bed was comfortable, the appliances all worked well, and there were plenty of towels and coffee and pots and pans for any daily needs!

Absolutely amazing.

Absolutely amazing.

We did not expect this to be as smooth and pleasant as it was. It has everything you need, PLUS some! Not to mention Cindy (Cynthia) is an amazing soul with a huge heart who strived to go above and beyond to make our stay great. I highly recommend her, and will not stay anywhere else the next time we come back to Pensacola. Located near historic downtown, safe area to go for a walk or sit outside, perfectly secluded parking with plenty of space and extra accommodations that were unnecessary but absolutely appreciated! Best stay we have ever had ANYWHERE! Thank you so much Cindy!!

We enjoyed the room, we did have a hard time cooling it off at night. With no ventilation in the bathroom, the heat from the shower heats the room up and it took into the early hours of the night to cool off. But location was perfect, price was right! Would like to stay there in a larger room next time. Highly recommend this property!

The location is prime, close to the beach, to Palafox, and just up the street from The Coffee Cup. However, the window unit AC is too old to fully cool this small space, especially in the humid Florida summer. We decided to stay in Pensacola a few extra days, but had to switch to a hotel for air conditioning. We also had trouble figuring out which studio was ours when we arrived near midnight. We’d been given the address, but not the letter of our studio. I was sure someone would call the police on us the way we were circling a historic house in the middle of the night. Otherwise, this was a good place equipped with everything we might need and for a very reasonable price.
