About this apartment rental
The Lazy Buffalo is a 1,500 square foot condominium located on the first floor of the Buffalo Junction development in Driggs, Idaho. It is the perfect year round recreation getaway with all the high-end finishes at an affordable price. Finishes include granite counter tops, beautiful hardwood trim, plush carpet, and large tile showers.
The master suite is positioned on the opposite end of the condo and away from the other two bedrooms for extra privacy. Included is a queen bed new mattress with a HDTV with DVD player and satellite, and a spacious master bathroom with double sinks and shower with over sized tub.
The second bedroom accommodates a queen bed new mattress, HDTV and satellite, and access to a private deck. The third bedroom is set-up with two twin beds. Both bedrooms have easy access to a full bathroom with double sinks. A dedicated laundry room with a washer and dryer with detergent is also available for convenience.
The exclusive kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, fully stocked with dishes, cookware, cutlery, electric griddle, slow cooker, toaster, and coffee maker. The open layout of the kitchen flows into the dining room with table that seats four and a breakfast bar that seats three.
The comfortable living room has an over sized sofa and a loveseat with a 50" 4K HDTV, satellite, and DVD player. A private deck is accessed from the living room and includes chairs and a propane BBQ grill that makes an extended area for enjoyment and entertaining. The reason I didn’t give it a 5 star on one of the questions was that the owner didn’t supply bath soap, napkins, nor tissues. These are things that have always been supplied when we have booked other places which we have done many times over the years. We shouldn’t have to purchase those items. This is for the future for the owner to be aware of.

Good space for our family of five to stay while we skied. Everything we needed and space to spread out.
They just need a handyman to go through and fix all the small things in the condo (maybe a big thing if the teenager can't get his TV to work)!

The property was very clean and well-equipped. It was quiet even though it was in an apartment complex. TV in the living room worked well. The TV in the "master" bedroom worked, but it took a while to figure out how to turn it on and get connected. The TV one of the other bedrooms did not work. We did not try the TV in the 3rd bedroom. We tried to call the manager around 7 PM to ask about the TVs but did not get a response. This was no problem since it was just about the television service, but I was glad we didn't have a real emergency.

We loved having our own rooms to Sleep in and own bathrooms on each side of the condo. It has so many extras, including a washer and dryer, which was so nice. One suggestion. We lived in Ashton and my husband grew up in St.Anthony, so we are very familiar with the area. These particular condos do not have air conditioning and the portable fans helped little, but it was so, so hot both in the day, and night. The ceiling fans above the bed helps a lot in the bedrooms, but

Our check in experience was frustrating to say the least because we had not received the code from the landlord in time. We were coming from Yellowstone and since reception is bad there, I assumed the code would have been sent to me at least on the day I was due to be in Driggs. . I had emailed her while I was on the road a few hours before arriving and also called a few times - but no answer. We went to the location hoping there might be someone to let us in. No luck. I even tried to look for alternative places and they were crazy expensive by then. Luckily we had friends renting another place and we went and hung out with them for a few hours. We also called VRBO who also had me on hold for more than an hour and a half since I guess they too were trying to find the owner. Finally she called me around 9 pm and apologized for the screw up and explained that she had sent the code a week back but it had been stuck somewhere in the outbox or in some folder and she said she was at a wedding that day where reception was bad and only got to my messages later that night. She promised to make up for it and gave me a night’s credit. She seemed a nice person. With all that said I must give credit where it is due. The place is spotlessly clean and well appointed. Everything was well labeled and easy to find and she also had coffee and creamer and other condiments which was appreciated even though we did not cook there. The bathrooms were very clean and usually being a clean freak, I clean bathrooms whenever I go to a new location; but this was one of those rare times I felt I didn’t need to do that. Rooms were all clean and tidy and we used the master bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture made with logs was elegantly made with a rustic look but without making it look like some loggers cabin. The carpets were well vacuumed and clean. I could easily say this was one of the cleanest places I have rented and it looked well maintained too. Washer and dryer were great too and were good top of the line models. I would go back here anytime and would highly recommend this place. Just make sure you get the code early :) but apart from that it was a great location and the host is a good person.

Easy check in, very quiet neighborhood, and super easy check in. Probably a fave of mine was a kitchen that had all and more than we needed to help us cook easy meals (condiments and basic cooking supplies were there for us, coffee and supplies some renters seem hesitant to offer) that we didn't expect but was lovely and super helpful! Ceiling fans and floor fans that were provided were very helpful for the very warm days we spent in the the area. Nice big bathrooms were a beautiful thing. There is a large grocery store 5 minutes away, and travel time across the mtn to Jackson was about 30-40minutes. The neighborhood was very quiet, both mornings and evenings. 100% recommended!

My family enjoyed our stay here while visiting Jackson Hole and Grand Tetons NP. My son also enjoyed fishing in the area.

The condo is very private and the town of Driggs is super cool. We came for Yellowstone and it worked out awesome! Yellowstone is about an hour and a half away and 40 minutes to Jackson . The ice cream shop owner in town tipped us off to an amazing hike 15 minutes away that was gorgeous. Great for the kids and the waterfall was beautiful!
