Location, super friendly staff, great breakfast
Our room didn't face the beach but the back street and was a bit dark and damp, but as we spent the whole day outside, it didn't really matter.

Nice place
Breakfast was not good

Great host, good breakfast and flexibility to additional requests (i.e. Gluten free breakfast for my fiancée). Considering its dimension, it’s a perfect base for holidays, especially if one is going to stay out a lot.

This is a beautiful hotel, in the most perfect location, the best host I have ever met. My mum fell ill while on holiday and the owner went out of his way completely to help me. Even talking to the hospital at 3am and letting me know what's happening. I cannot reccommend this hotel enough! And I can't wait to return.

This was an amazing stay! Everything was absolutely perfect. Davide is a wonderful host and he goes above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Casetta al Mare is high standard in every way. I am sensitive to outside noises when I sleep but it was totally soundproof. But every morning I kept the door open because Davide whistles cheerily while making the delicious breakfast. I will really miss this. So glad we chose this place.
I have never traveled to the same destination twice because I like to explore new places. But now I can't imagine wanting to travel anywhere else. We will definitely come back!

David was a wonderful, joyous host with a delightful beaming smile: genuinely friendly, attentive and we loved the way he happily spent time chatting with us over breakfast...breakfast being timed with his collection of delicious fresh bread.
Our bedroom was pristine and despite being at the front of the property was peaceful during the early June night time.
Our shower room was fab, so well designed and furnished in beautiful Sardinian limestone (which David explained was from Orosei).
We were lucky to park our car opposite to the accommodation so spent time exploring the beautiful coastline on foot.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay which was made special by David, such a delightful host.

If you ever decide to run your own guest house, you should sign up for a lesson from Elio, the owner Casetta al mare!
Elio exceeded our expectations a couple of times, very friendly and kind attitude makes you feel like you’re at home.
The room we stayed at was facing the sea, so we could hear and see the waves. It was furnished with a lot of local art and a very high attention to details. The owner was very diligent while cleaning, so no complaints there either.
Breakfasts were absolutely amazing with a lot of local specialities.
Elio was very helpful whenever we asked for an advice, he gave us some great recommendations and helped us with translation when needed.
As a matter of fact, our stay was so great that we spontaneously decided to extend it by two extra days!
The only minor inconvenience is that our room was facing the street, so occasionally there was a loud car or a small truck passing through in the morning.
To be fair, it isn’t a busy street and we knew about it before making our reservation, so it wasn’t a big deal. Besides, the sound of the waves compensated everything! 😊

you can enjoy very good breakfast with nice view to the beach, fresh fruits, different sardine cheese, bread, home made Jam/yogurt, toast, eggs, tea/coffee, I think this is best B&B with the beach in front in Sardine. we have very good time here.

The accommodation was cute with everything we needed; spotless clean, quality products and very welcoming hosts.
Maria and Elio provided us with great tips to visit around and we loved each and one of the places they recommended. Besides, the homemade breakfast they prepared for us is the best food we have had so far in Sardegna; everything was prepared with love, and you could feel it in the taste…
Thanks both for having us! 😘
nothing to complain about

The two hosts are amazing. You‘re on holiday, but you also feel like you‘re at home. When you wake up, they prepare a perfect breakfast tailored to your needs. This hotel is a warm hearted place which makes it even harder to leave. We will definitely come back.

Definitely the best travel experience in the last decade. Humble and down-to-earth host, yet so caretaking!
Beatiful breakfast with fresh sardinian products and every day a different speciality. Best view from breakfast across the sea and beach, lovely sunsets. You can walk barefoof to the beach. Few people at this time of the year (October).
