This Kingscliff House is the ideal Family Holiday Home that is pet friendly (1 pet only) This house is only 3 min walk to the beach and a 20 min walk to nearby Cudgen Creek where you can swim and enjoy water activities. You can park your car and walk to the beach and all the cafes, bars and shops in the Salt Village

The beach is surf patrolled and you will enjoy the convenience of being so close to all the cafes/restaurants, day spas, retail shops, hairdressers, shopping village, Salt Bar & Bistro, parks and cycle ways.

Fully Air-con house with a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and living room overlooking a beautiful tropical pool. Undercover outdoor alfresco entertainment with BBQ.

Separate room upstairs with flat screen and bean bags to sit and relax.

In-ground magnesium swimming pool is very therapeutic and fully fenced with sun beds for relaxing by the pool and a grass area for kids and pets to run around and play.

LOCATION

Located in South Kingscliff beach village, Tweed Coast, Northern New South Wales - 50 metres to beach, 5 mins drive to coastal village Kingscliff and only 2 min walk to Salt Bistro & Bar, Spa & Beauty shops, retails shops and restaurants.

10 min drive to Tweed Heads

15 min drive to Coolangatta Airport

30 min drive to Byron Bay

45 - 50 min drive to Gold Coast Theme Parks

ACCOMMODATION

This property is located in a residential area and there are no parties or functions permitted. Strictly No smoking.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

Check-in time is not before 2pm (NSW) time on the arrival date and check out time is not later than 10am (AEST) on departure date.

You must notify management of expected arrival time and a mobile contact number at least 1 day before arrival.

Check-in/check- out and key collections/return procedures will be face to face with management, please advise estimated time of arrival and departure so keys can be collected.

Guests are to advise 24 hours prior to arrival of estimated time or arrival at the holiday house address so that the property manager can meet them at the front entrance. We will meet and greet you at the property and then personally hand you the keys.

If you need any assistance during your stay we are only a phone call away.

GUESTS DEPARTURE

Departing guests must leave property clean and tidy. This includes emptying rubbish bins, washing and drying all dishes, emptying the dishwasher, cleaning out fridge.

We recommend this residence so highly. Its location is perfect, the house is perfect, it had a very relaxed feel about it, and whether its rain or shine there is always something to do. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our adult kids, and our 9 year old grandson and had the best time. We only had a 3 nights stay and we all wished it could have been a lot longer. Thank you Peta & Tom.

The property exceeded our expectations, and became not just a place to sleep but a place to hang out and holiday in. The various lounging rooms was great for the different age groups, and the air conditioning was a must for Kiwi's to cope with the heat. We would love to stay again.

We had a fabulous stay at Barrels. The photos online simply do not do the home justice. It was immaculate, so relaxing, and the position can’t be beaten (especially the proximity to Salt). Many thanks also to the owners for their generosity in leaving us a lovely gift and for kindly putting up a Christmas tree. We hope to be back soon!

Our experience at Barrel St was sensational! From the initial communication with Peta to the house itself, every detail has been thought of and well executed. The house is well equipped with everything you need, the pool was used everyday and we were blessed with great weather! Thank you so much for having us, the kids loved it too!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful 7 night stay at Barrels. The property exceeded expectations - great layout, multiple living areas, everything you need with regard to kitchen and towels, etc. Welcome basket on arrival was lovely too. Everyone enjoyed spending time in the pool and having BBQ dinners each night. Very short walk to beach and Salt. Would love to stay again.

Absolute relaxation at Salt Beach

Clean, tidy, well equipped and extremely spacious house just a few hundred meters from the beach and a short stroll to short beach shops. Upon arrival we were delighted to find a welcome pack with snacks and the a house more spacious and beautiful than what is represented in the photos. The house was spacious enough for two families (8 people in total) with three lounge/sitting areas indoors along with indoor and outdoor dining. We were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities and supplies in the kitchen, the house was supplied with EVERYTHING we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. It rained on and off which meant we didn’t utilise the outdoor space as much as we’d like but having a a spacious and well equipped still allowed us to have a terrific stay. The only negative we have is that the beds were Doubles not queen as described. This made is difficult for teens sharing a bed and isn’t ideal for tall adults.

We had a fantastic stay in this immaculate property. A last minute booking but so glad we found this place. 4 great bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and a delightful living space downstairs. 3 mins walk to the beach and 5 min walk to Salt Village. Great outdoor area and beautiful pool as well. Highly recommend this property for your Kingscliff stay.

Wonderful house. We took two rather large dogs plus various members of our family over the 4 weeks of rental. The house was large enough to accommodate all during some very wet periods and very easy to manage.

We had a wonderful stay starting with a warm welcome from Peta. We were really impressed with the attention to detail and the many little conveniences which other property owners have not provided i.e. beach towels, basic kitchen condiments, laundry supplies to last the stay, food wraps etc. Little things but they make a big difference particularly when you are travelling/flying. Wonderful home for a family to share, close to beach and Salt Village. Pool was fantastic and well maintained. Even some pool toys! Supermarket & restaurants also quite close. The flowers and gift basket were a lovely touch. Thank you Tom and Peta - we will definitely love to visit again.

Loved our week over Easter with our family from England. Huge well equipped kitchen overlooking the garden and pool, perfect for family meals. Amazing coffee machine we put to work, saving us a fortune at the coffee shop each day!! Very easy walking distance to the beach and playground to keep the kids entertained. Fabulous margaritas at the local Mexican joint to top off a wonderful holiday. Thank you Tom and Peta!!

Great home for beachside escape or downtime in the pool. Centrally located to beach, restaurants, grocery stores etc. Spacious home, can accommodate up to two families comfortably. The downstairs living area will be well used, while the upstairs area can get warm given the lack of air conditioning. Proximity to Salt and the local facilities perfect for a week long stay. Great pool and outdoor space.
