Everything else was absolutely perfect. Many small details. Decoration with love. Great garden. Hygienic, clean. Many small things which is paid attention and make the stay absolutely unique. Well located in the heart of the city and besides a lot od restaurants and bars.
Free and safe parking space procided. Altogether an almost perfect package.
Our room was unfortunately connected to 3 or 4 other rooms without any barrier under the roof, so it was noisy. The next room belonged to the cleaning lady. Whenever she poured some water, sneezed or coughed, we heard it as if she was in the same room like us. The same with the guests who started listening to music a 4 a.m. - we could identify every song unfortunately.
The breakfast came cold one day. And - a small thing - the jamon serrano was not jamon serrano. The packages is good and of great quality. Nevertheless I wanted my coffee with a little bit of milk, which was charged extra.

The building and interior of Collection O Casa de Familia is beautiful. Set in what was originally a large family house. It was very central with an excellent location. We could walk everywhere. It felt comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and helped us organise tours directly with the hotel which were amazing, affordable and went smoothly. The breakfast was excellent too.
Our rooms had no windows except a ceiling light but our blind was broken so we couldn't open it which made the room very dark. In the eaves of the room there was a void which went across the top of our bathroom and over into the storage room which 1. meant we felt we didn't have full privacy as any staff in the storage room would be able to hear us and vice versa, and 2. it meant that a lot of noise would funnel into our room from outside every night and we couldn't shut it out. Very frustrating.
We also found a cockroach in our room within 30 mins of arrival.

Great location, beautiful grounds, clean and comfortable rooms. Great bed and smooth sheets
No a/c was clearly specified and weather is usually cool, but the room was unusually warm and we were told they didn't have any fans. Took a while to get enough ventilation in the room.

Located in the city center. Hospitable and very helpful staff. Very cozy and homely environment. We seemed to find ourselves with a relative of an aristocrat.

It was a beautiful hotel. The courtyard was very nice to relax. We would buy a bottle of wine and relax there in the early evening.
The restaurant served a very good breakfast.
The staff was super helpful.
I highly recommend this place.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of San Cristobal. It is extremely comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff were outstanding. We only ate one meal there (breakfast) and even simple pancakes was amazing.
One of the nicest little hotels I’ve stayed in.
The wifi was weak in our room. I spent time on a very comfy sofa right outside my room where the wifi was good catching up on work. We had some street noise in our room in the morning.

The Hotel is absolutely beautiful..I call it elegant eclectic, as far as the decor. It is ideally located, two blocks from Main Plaza. Offers small container of Chiapan Coffee in room ( no coffee packets). On Sunday morning, I awoke to Marimba music in it's interior courtyard, comfortable bed and modern bathroom, elegant restaurant, good security..I did not want to leave.
Our standard room did not have a ceiling fan or any air circulation. Superior rooms open to the Courtyard, having a small balcony.

Rooms: Luxurious! We really enjoyed the coffee machine. The room was clean, the water pressure was good. Hot water arrived, but after a wait. Bathroom had working everything. We used the provided robes as we sat out on the balcony, overlooking the gardens, with a coffee. Great start to the day.
Staff: The young man Victor, was so accommodating! When our room was not ready (we arrived early), he actually gave us a tour of the hotel to make the time go by. He brought us drinks to the gardens (at our cost) and then came to get us when the room was ready. Amazing treatment!
Location: Unbeatable! In the middle of the historic district, just 3 blocks from the main square. Quiet even with that location!
Restaurant: Apparently it is not part of the hotel, but run and managed separately. The only breakfast option is a “served buffet”. I would suggest, for people in a hurry, that the restaurant also offer an option for plated dishes. The concept is great when one is not running to catch a tour, but must be avoided if you are looking for a quick breakfast. We had one rushed breakfast and one leisurely. The leisurely was much more enjoyable. Pablo was friendly and attentive. I would also suggest having a bartender in the late afternoon/evenings so the hotel guests could enjoy the gardens before going out for dinner.
All in all it was an amazing stay, one to be repeated on future trips to San Cristobal de las Casas!!

Loved the location and the style of the place! Put it this way despite everything when we left and had to cancel our plans elsewhere we came back to this place. The off street parking is great.
Administration wasn't great. People just didn't seem to really know what was going on.

Very comfortable bed. Shower has hot water and good pressure.
Nice hotel, good value
My room faced a clothing store which played loud music from 9am to 8pm.
This was followed by music from a bar which stopped at 2am.
Not forgetting the street noise.
Noise issues are normal in Mexico it seems.

The location is perfect to explore the central streets and the building and garden it's stunning. The room was super cleaned and great equipped. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is spacious.
The staff was extraordinary and made us feel like home. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We would definitely come back, one of the best hotels we have stayed so far in Mexico.
