As the title suggests we stayed at this house for two weeks!
I really appreciated the small touches in the kitchen so it felt like home. (Veggie peeler, lids for pots, big giant skillet, appropriate number of serving dishes etc.) The beds are cozy, and the curtains completely shade the bedrooms. There are a few small things I wished for this place bc it would have been perfect otherwise. The aircon was loud (but better to have loud than not have it - it is HOT in Hood), there weren't enough hangers, and the only one bedroom had places to put clothes.
If / When you stay here walk over to the FarmStand and get kombucha on tap, do a yoga session at Flow and go for a walk or a bike ride on the wonderful trail system just a couple of blocks from the house.

Cute small house in a quiet neighborhood. Clean and well appointed. Nice that there are window air conditioners in the bedrooms. Nice to be able to do laundry too in the middle of my long road trip.

Very comfortable.

Great stay, comfortable and close to everything.

All was fine. Neighborhood doesn’t seem great but it was ok.

Casa Flores was as listed. Nice neighborhood, clean, lots of towels which I like. Our dog enjoyed the nice little fenced in yard, so did we. We also enjoyed walking the Indian creek trail which is close by, with our dog. Always good to be able to park off street. So close to downtown without the traffic of being downtown. Would definitely stay again as such easy access to all of Hood River activities.

Nice old house with just enough modern updates to make it work. Love the towels! Very close to some great places to eat. Nice off street parking.
4.7
Sweet little cottage. Good fence, kept our dogs safe. Good supplies in the kitchen, nice water pressure in the shower.
I would only say that it would be tough for 4 adults. There is a loveseat (not really a couch) and one chair in the living room, so it's a bit tight for more than two people.
Overall, it's a lovely place in a great location.

Our stay was relaxing. We enjoyed coffee and pastries at the Pine St bakery, walked downtown twice and twice walked our dog along the Indian Creek trail. The house was comfortable and quiet. A well-deserved mini-vacation from a busy life.

Adorable little house! Very comfortable beds and the house was extremely clean. Surprisingly nice touch was the piano, since one of my friends likes to play. And I love that they had a fan in each room since we like white noise at night. Would absolutely stay here again!
4.7
Súper cute cottage, clean, comfortable and spacious enough for four. Very easy access to trails for the dogs, and short drive to downtown, food and shopping. Hope to stay here again.

This is a great place. We enjoyed our stay. I don’t think the property manager checks VRBO’s messaging service but we didn’t need anything so it didn’t matter much.
One parking spot was all we needed but there was always on street parking. It is close in to town and had great restaurants and coffee shops near by. We would stay in this house again.

Casa Flores is clean, cutely decorated, conveniently located, and well appointed. Check-in was easy, wi-fi worked great, and my couple of questions were answered in a reasonable amount of time. Just a couple things to consider when deciding to rent this place... There is a stale, mildew smell when the house is closed. My travel mate who is mold sensitive had trouble being in the house for very long except to sleep, as the bedrooms ended up not being a problem. This worked out ok as we were out most of each day and the front yard was great for hanging out in the evenings as we brought a couple chairs on this trip. The other thing to consider is that there is a portable air conditioner in the kitchen but no where else. On hot days (was upper 90's a couple of days during our stay), if we closed up the house and drew the curtains and ran the AC, the house didn't get too too hot. That said, the bedrooms don't actually cool off from the AC, they just didn't get as hot as it was outside. At night it helps to bring a fan into the bedroom and leave the windows open to try and cool things off a bit. This seemed to help and we each slept well. However, if it was a very very hot day I would be concerned. Plus, having to keep the house closed against the heat exasperated the stagnant smell issue.

Perfectly sized for our group- lots of things within walking distance but it is a longer walk to the main part of HR. There is no air conditioning so it was warmer during the day but the house cooled down at night with open windows.

Overall fantastic location, home inside is very clean. Outside could use a power wash, but still nice. Could use a chest of drawers or table off some type in second bedroom for luggage. Kitchen is very nice, could use a few bowls and larger pot if you want to cook meals.
Nice yard but no outdoor table or chairs to eat outside.
So only some minor things, would definitely stay here again.

Nice location, quiet neighborhood, dog friendly. Clean older house with fully equipped kitchen. Enjoyed our stay, will come again

This is a cozy bungalow a mile from downtown. Fenced yard was a bonus for our dogs. Would have liked to see a clock somewhere in the house (besides on stove) and better outfitting in kitchen. Best part was proximity to Indian Creek Trail (1 block away) which we just loved.

Our stay was fine but ultimately we would not stay here again. The full size beds were small and uncomfortable. The living room has seating for only 3 people so the 4th person had to sit on a kitchen chair or stool. The patio furniture has seating for only 2 people. One of the two bathrooms was not working. The doorknob for one of the bedrooms was sitting on a night stand and we had to be careful to not lock ourselves in/out the whole time. When I texted the property manager about the toilet leaking on the floor and broken door knob, their response was odd and consisted of blaming other people. I used to work in hospitality and would have appreciated better customer service. Pro: fully fenced yard for pup. That was nice.

The house was super cute and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and I think they were both full size. The location isn’t super great but hood river is so small everything we wanted to do was a short drive.

Lovely older home in Hood River. Located in walking distance to the bakery and other shops. Easy 10 min drive to the event site. Fully fenced yard was great for the dogs.

Great house in a convenient neighborhood!

The house is in an ideal location for walking down quiet, shade lined streets with plenty of parks & restaurants nearby. A short drive to downtown for shopping & the Colombia River. The house has a nice, fenced in yard for dogs and a half bath which is very convenient. There is no AC but if you open the windows & run the fans the house stays comfortable even on the 100+ degree days.
One of the fans & the coffee maker were not working when we arrived but the manager, Amy, replaced them right away the next day.

Cozy Hood River Stay
The house was as pictured, cozy but comfy. Walking distance to several eateries including Pine Street Bakery. It had the charm of an older house (wood floors, antique touches) but had all the conveniences one would need for a longer stay (modern washer/dryer, clean bathrooms, cooking tools).

Cute, cute, cute
This small bungalow is well-kept and comfortably furnished, and was the perfect place for my aunt and me to stay with our two dogs while in town for a family reunion. It sits in prime location, easy walking distance to groceries, restaurants, parks & trails.

Vintage Charm
The house was clean, comfortable, and had a charming vintage appeal. Location was accessible to local restaurants and shopping areas. Fenced yard was perfect for our pup. Enjoyed the nearby walking trail and appreciated the off street driveway for parking.

Nice home short mile from downtown.
Casa Flores is a nice home with character and good amenities. It was really nice to have the comforts of home while visiting Hood River. We especially enjoyed the short drive or reasonable walk into town. The Indian Creek trails are great for dogs.

Great location and set up
Hope to stay here again!

Strange Cozy Cute!
The house is so charming and cute, the location is a little strange. I would suggest switching out the mattress in the front bedroom, it’s not comfortable, and both beds require better pillows. Besides that the only other thing was the toilet paper should be better quality, get rid of the one ply immediately! The bathrooms are so darling, but the front bathroom had nails in the wall where pictures had been (were they taken?) and it would be good to have something there… bathroom art. All in all a good place to stay, just a few tiny tweaks to make the beds more comfortable. Thank you! We’ll be back again!
