Spacious, comfortable, well-located and clean. This house is great! Perfect for exploring the area. It also wins the competition for best coffee mugs in any rental property ever! We didn't want to leave.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, clean house in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to enjoy Baxter State Park for a few days while providing “trail magic” to our son and his “tramily “. Thank you Ridge and Kelly for being so accommodating! 5 stars!

Perfect location for exploring the North Woods area. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Really appreciated the binder with instructions, suggestions for attractions and dining.

This property is in a great location. It was clean, very comfortable beds and a great kitchen. We did take advantage of the deck and the fire pit. Only suggestion would be a new grill. It was really rusty and hard to start. Also mirrors in the bedrooms would be helpful since there is only the one bathroom. Appreciated the laundry as we had kids coming off the AT🤢. Would definitely recommend.

Loved our stay here. Beautiful home away from home while on our Honeymoon. Had everything we needed. Cute little town with very friendly people. Short travel to all the must see places. Fantastic set up outside firepit. So peaceful. Really enjoyed the side room to chill with coffee or a cocktail reading. Loved the scent of the pine. Got a little warm in some of the rooms but the fans provvworked great to move the airflow according. Really enjoyed our stay. From WI. V&G

We had a great stay at Katahdin Crossing. Nicely located near Baxter State Park but also close to gas station, grocery store and convenience stores. Home was clean, spacious and relaxing after hiking. Kitchen had all you could want for cooking. There is also a deck, grill, enclosed porch, and fire pit. Ridge was helpful and responsive to questions. We would definitely stay again.

Gateway to Baxter
This property is as advertised in the listing. Clean, good location in a neighborhood, well appointed kitchen with everything we needed for cooking; pots/pans, etc., linens and towels, grill, firepit, etc. And close to downtown Millinocket (it is a small downtown) and about 5 away from a Hannaford grocery store. And of course close to Baxter and the other properties around it. You still have to drive a bit to get into the park, but unless you are camping off Golden Rd. or Baxter Park Rd., you are not likely to get much closer in a house. Had everything that we needed for a nice extended weekend away. We would stay again.

Millinocket Maine Respite
Comfortable, well-appointed, and peaceful. Beautiful neighborhood and convenient location. We truly enjoyed our stay and our Fall respite!! Note: There are several sets of steps: into home, from kitchen to dining area, and to access back yard.

Great location!
We highly recommend this home! Plenty of room for a family of four, clean, and in a great location for hiking at Baxter State Park, Debsconeag Wilderness, and Gulf Hagas. Highly recommend River Drivers Retaurant as recommended by Ridge and pizza from Sawmill Bar and Grill. Ridge was an excellent host with lots of great tips and quick responses!

We loved it from the moment we walked in the door. Owners were lovely to deal with. Just the most cute little place so close to Baxter State Park and town. My son (9yr old boy) loved the decor and layout. I hope we can come back soon!!!

Great snowmobile trip!
This was our first time to Millinocket. 4 of us stayed with plenty of room. Driveway was big enough for our 4 place trailer and truck with easy access. Ridge was great, very quick with responses and highly accommodating. We will be back here for sure! Very clean home and very comfortable! Highly recommend!

Great location to visit Baxter State Park and the Golden Road areas.
Loved the location for my visits to Baxter State Park and the Golden Road area. Located in a quite neighborhood. Plenty of room to spread out. Appears to be a work in progress. The decorations are outstanding, all related to Maine. The wifi connection was great! My cell phone even worked near the front window!! I was there in early late September, early October, so did not use the grill or sit out on the deck. If I am back in the area in the future I would try to arrange my vacation to rent this property again.

Katahdin Region Gem
Our stay at Katahdin Crossing was very enjoyable. The close proximity to Baxter State Park and moose viewing while still being just outside town proved to be the perfect location. The house was comfortable and nicely equipped. The large yard was greatly appreciated for our two dogs. Thanks again Ridge and Kelly for allowing us to spend time in your home while enjoying our Appalachian Trail adventure.

Comfortable home base for exploring Maine's wilderness
We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable and spacious home. It had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and we were well situated for access to the parks (Baxter, Katahdin Woods and Waters, and more). The owner was very responsive when we experienced an issue with WiFi; the problem was quickly resolved.

Home away from home
Katahdin Crossing is a very cozy home away from home! It's tucked right into Baxter State Park but also just outside of town (so I was able to run to the store when I realized I forgot my toothbrush) The beds were very comfortable, I loved the sheets! My boys enjoyed the apple TV & wifi the short time they waited for us grown ups to get ready for our adventures. We were incredibly grateful to be so "close to home" when we finished our hike up Katahdin during our stay.
I would definitely recommend this stay for any family that wants to enjoy a vacation in beautiful Millinocket, ME!

Our family of 4 plus our dog stayed here in preparation for sending our daughter off to hike the Appalachian Trail. We particularly appreciated the comfortable beds, location, and attentive host, and would stay here again.

Fantastic home away from home after a long day of snowmobiling
The owners are amazing!!! They are very nice and hospitable. Their home is beautiful and in a nice peaceful neighborhood. It was a great feeling to go back to a home after a long day of riding and not a lodge room. It's close to downtown and if you want delivery they do delivery to the home. My trip up there was fantastic and I can't wait to go there again. The Millinocket area is breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you again so much for everything. :)

Awesome house and owners! Comfortable with tons of room and media options. Highly recommend
Katahdin Crossing was an awesome rental for the week to go snowmobiling. The house is being updated and areas completed are comfortable, high quality and functional. Plenty of parking for trailers and easy trail access. The space is huge including tv/dvd/wifi. Everything needed was available for cooking. Beds and linens were perfect. Ridge was extremely easy to work with including assisting us when our trailer broke! He recommended the perfect repair shop. I highly recommend this house and the owners! We can’t wait to return for sledding again and in other seasons. The neighborhood is very quiet and convenient to a store and downtown for shopping and dining.
