Very disappointed compared to other booking.com and air b&b properties in similar locations and ratings

Lovely views from balcony

Why is it necessary to pick up keys in another resort which is 800-900m away and not easy to get to. Stains on carpet, missing blinds, dirty shower screens. No air conditioning and the night we arrived it was very humid. For $400-$600 a night you kind of expect air conditioning even if it’s just the bedrooms. One portable ac unit doesn’t cut it.

Location was great

The garage door was very heavy, one of the springs was broken. Had trouble opening and couldn’t close it. I had to leave it open even I left I could close it to lock up.

Great value, peace and quiet, and nice, welcoming hosts. Couldn't ask for more!

My wife and I have been very impressed with our stay at Hungerford, and very pleasantly surprised by the peace and quiet that we've been able to enjoy while staying here as renovations have been underway at our house. The apartment was much bigger than I expected and the hosts and the neighbours have been very nice and welcoming. Great value and we're definitely keeping this place in mind for the next time we need a tranquil getaway 🙂👍👍

If you want the best view in Kingscliff this apartment will meet that expectation.

The owner really needs to get a new mattress in the main bedroom. They also need to update the blinds which are over 20 years old and are noisey when the wind blows making it impossible to sleep at night. The main bedroom is all also noisey (street noise from cars) and has street lights flooding in at night and Lacey curtains that cannot keep the light out. The bathrooms were not cleaned very well in my opinion, the furniture is very dated and the couches very worn and dirty. I have stayed in these apartments for the best part of 20 years. I do think the owner needs to invest in better furniture, bedding and install wifi. The booking agent was very good very easy booking.

The mattress. The blinds in bedrooms. The blinds in the lounge room. The dirty and worn couches. The bathrooms not cleaned very well. No wifi was a huge issue.

Location was perfect, in walking distance to Cudgen creek, Kingscliff beach and Kingscliff village. View was amazing and flat very light filled and pleasant.

Cleaning left a lot to be desired! Called the property manager on the first day and they sent someone to fix it, but they still didn't clean it properly! Even though I had pointed out a fair few specific things that needed cleaning.
