About this apartment rental
Cherry View is a stylish self-contained studio apartment suitable for up to two people and ideal for couples. It is located at Cygnet, part of the beautiful Huon Valley and is a scenic 45 minute drive from Hobart and is the perfect base for exploring Southern Tasmania.
The studio is of solar passive design and is double glazed and fully insulated keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. Its picture windows provide commanding views over the local cherry orchard and valley, with the picturesque Hartz Mountains forming the backdrop.
The studio is spacious and fully furnished including a comfortable sofa and full sized dining table.

* A king sized bed complete with luxury bedding and electric blanket
* Thermostatically controlled heating
* TV, DVD and CD Player
* Fully equipped kitchen including two burner hob, oven and microwave
* Spacious bathroom with power shower
* Undercover parking
* Covered and uncovered patio with outdoor setting for alfresco dining and taking in the views
* Outdoor gas barbecue
Breakfast provisions are provided to all guests at the commencement of their stay and together with some little extras such as complimentary real coffee and a selection of teas mean you may never wish to leave the room!
You can relax on the patio and listen to the frogs while taking in the magnificent views and birdlife - blue wrens and robins abound and wedge tailed eagles regularly soar over the property. You can also wander the property at your leisure and meet the permanent resident Annie the pony! In the evening you can take in the beautiful sunsets and then watchout for the abundant native wildlife including pademelons, bettongs, bandicoots, possums and wallabies. On clear nights the minimal ambient light means that you will get a fabulous view of the stars.
Cherry View has the perfect mix of modern day amenity and peace and tranquillity without total isolation. For those needing to work or keep in touch with others, your Telstra wireless broadband modem and mobile phone will definitely work.

delightful sojourn on the hillside
beautifully situated in a rustic setting ,handy to the village and central to many attractive spots . very comfortable accomm with all the necessities plus some tasty additions of local produce. very comfortable and quiet. Hosts were available and unobtrusive, with appropraite asssitance.We enjoyed it immensely.

Had a wonderful secluded quiet studio with picturesque views of the valley. David was a friendly and helpful host. Basic cooking options but a large general space with a large comfortable bed. Close to cygnet for shopping and central to that area for tourist visiting or just stay for the quiet surroundings.

Perfect hide away in the Hills.
Cherryview is a perfect retreat for a couple wanting to hide away in the Hills. The studio retreat was large enough, so as you don't feel enclosed and the bathroom and kitchen facilities are well maintained and just what is needed. You could very well stay here and do day trips all around Hobart and the south of Tasmania. David was a great host with lots of local knowledge. The birds alone would make me return to Cherryview.

A great retreat in a beautiful rural settting
Cherryview Studio is a very well appointed and furnished retreat in a quiet location with great views, yet handy to Cygnet. It is very well maintained and presented. David greeted us on arrival and provided a wealth of helpful local information. We enjoyed Cygnet's amenities and especially the waterside drive through Lymington and Glaziers Bay. We strongly recommend Cherryview as a convenient base for the Cygnet-Huon area, and excellent value for money.

A wonderful place
A great place for 2 people to stay with wonderful views to the far mountains. Very peaceful and set in lovely grounds. The cabin was beautifully laid out and very well equipped with just about everything we needed - great attention to detail, a good selection of basic food in the kitchen, everything very clean and a lovely bathroom. A great patio area outside where we could sit and take in the views. David was very chatty and told us everything we needed to know to settle in and also about the area. I wish we could have stayed longer but am already thinking I'll come back as soon as I'm next in Tasmania.

Perfect location for touring Huon Valley region
We stayed in January 2016 but the online feedback form will only accept 2015.
Cherryview is a great location for touring the Huon Valley region including towns such as Kettering, Huonville, Cygnet and Geeveston. David was extremely welcoming and provided local knowledge on places to visit. The area was very dry while we were there so not the lush green view portrayed but still a wonderful view of the countryside.
We really appreciated the provisions supplied such as oil, butter, breakfast cereals, bread, milk, coffee, port and chocolates.

Perfect sanctuary
Stayed in late spring. The house was clean and super cosy, view was gorgeous, baby animals everywhere. 5minute drive into Cynet township, and very close to Pagan Cider ;) I would recommend staying here.

Great accommodation
We spent 10 nights in this wonderful spot, hosts were very welcoming, accommodation met all our expectations, some lovely touches chocolates, port and some breakie provisions, were much appreciated.

Most relaxing location
We were very happy with the peaceful location and enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the evenings. It was close to town (Cygnet) but not too close - we are country people at heart. The friendliness of the hosts was much appreciated as was their attention to detail in the accommodation and the treats they provided - complimentary chocs and port and freshly ground coffee for the plunger. Wish we had booked for longer than 2 nights and will definitely recommend to friends.

Delight country escape
Cherryview provided us with everything we could have wished for a country escape in the beautiful Huon valley from our busy city lives. The hosts' attention to detail was outstanding with an amazing comfortable king size bed, port and chocolates, breakfast supplies, a good selection of dvds and great cooking facilities which we happily utilised with yummy goodies purchased from the local Salamanca markets. oh and the sunset from the balcony is pretty impressive.
We felt refreshed and rejuvienated upon leaving and will definitely return.
