Schöner Zwischenstopp, sehr freundlicher Gastgeber

Wir haben das Zimmer für einen Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg nach Frankreich gebucht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und vielseitig. Vielen Dank für alles.

Everything was perfect here! Cozy hotel in ancient building in the center of the village. Clean and nicely equiped room, very good breakfast and best coffee! Best option for 60chf in this region!

If I would have known this before....

Honestly, the cappuccino was great, the best we had during our travel. But that was all. The owner was kind, but our stay very disappointing.

First of all we were not informed before that there was some kind of street party, so we could not reach the hotel by car, we tried but got stuck in one way traffic streets with only 10cm space left and right of the car... Total lack of communication. So it took us in the end an hour to finally get in the hotel. There was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage to the third floor through small corridor steps. The room was seldom in its simplicity, only beds and that's all. No TV, no safe, no minibar, no table, no airco, nothing... So I would not recommend this one for a longer stay. This was the most disappointing stay (and we have had a lot, already 6 on this travel) in any hotel I can remember.

This hotel and restaurant is good but there is AC.

The staff are really helpful.

No AC and the Catholic Church bell is too close, loudly and keeps ringing from 7Am to 7pm.

The restaurant attached to the actual building where our apartment was, La Posta, rather than in the original hotel, Belcantone. The food was very good, very friendly and capable staff and very reasonably priced. Worth going there for the restaurant! The two room apartment was spacious, however the kitchen could do with some extra basic items.

Being at the main intersection of the small village there was a bit of traffic noise but only early in the morning and early evening. The church bells begin at 7am but do stop at 10pm! We didn't stay in the main hotel building and only had breakfast there on the last day, which was fairly basic. As one of the beds is in the large living room, there was no sofa, but there was a dining table and chairs.

A very good overnight stop with friendly staff and good food.

We were looking for a convenient stop on a long journey and were pleased to find this property in a charming village near Lugano. The staff were helpful and friendly, the accommodation was basic bur comfortable and the food was very good value.

Ideally it would have helped to have air-conditioning because it was exceptionally hot but no complaints.

Friendly Staff, Great Location for trip to Monte Lema

The stuff was very nice

No voice isolation between the rooms, we could hear anyone in the stairs very clearly. Also there were no AC, or at lest a windows network for prevent insects to enter the rooms. We highly suggest to put this network to make the availability for the guests to open the windows. Regards

I absolutely liked the place. Very cozy and just as described. The hotel restaurant is just around the corner. The staff was very polite and welcoming.

We booked this accommodation last minute. We arrived quite late but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We could also enjoy a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The pizzas are really delicious. For Switzerland, this address is really a budget-friendly address. The decor of the rooms is basic and very clean. The beds were very comfortable for sleeping. We had a nice view of the village and the mountains. At breakfast we had a lot of choice. I recommend this accommodation! Ideal for a stop over or to enjoy the region.

Great place!

The staff is very friendly and welcoming, that’s was for me the highlight of my stay! The breakfast has a lot of choice and the pizzas are amazing! The hotel is a bit far from Lugano, but easily accessible and I had the chance to see the villages around so I don’t regret the distance (having car is preferred). Very good place, I recommend!

The shower curtain was a bit old and stained.
