Fantastisch

Ontzettend fijne gastheer, mooie locatie en alles was goed schoon. Heerlijk kunnen genieten van de jacuzzi en de gebakken pizza’s van onze gastheer.

Paul was friendly and offered helpful suggestions. He speaks in many hyperbole about his property.

We were in Unit 2. The bed was comfortable. The unit and bathroom were very clean. The location was good as we had a car. We had easy access to the nearby inlet (‘beach’), which was a pleasant area for a stroll. The neighbourhood was quiet.

The location and rustic nature of the ‘camp style’ bathroom was impractical. The furniture inside the unit was outdoor bbq type and not very comfortable. There was no running water inside. We needed to use an outdoor ‘camp-style’ sink next to the bathroom. While there were several cooking items, it is an exaggeration to call this a kitchen. The unit itself resembles a ‘sleep-out’ but was adequate for our needs.

Fantastic

We loved how clean the apartment was and could see how much care had gone into it in order to be comfortable for guests. The products in the bathroom were excellent quality and plenty of lovely towels were available. It was great to have a great sized balcony for our use and we loved to take our coffee out there in the morning, listen to the birds and look at the beautiful views. We also had access to a private beach! Paul is a super host and thanks to him we had two amazing days in the incredible Abel Tasmin National Park. The property is only three minutes by car to Kiateriteri beach or there is a scenic path to it as well. We could not of asked for more - brilliant host, great location and very clean and attractive apartment. Will be back.

Sehr empfehlenswert.

Die Unterkunft war hochwertig ausgestattet, sehr sauber und hatte als Highlight ein Jacuzzi. Der Vermieter war außerordentlich um unser Wohl bemüht. Vielen Dank auch für die Insidertipps für den Nationalpark.

Fabulous stay in the sunny Kaiteriteri area.

Lovely spot very near but far enough away from the super busy Kaiteriteri beach area. We were travelling with e-bikes and owner Paul was more than helpful with arranging for us to be able to recharge them.

Wonderful host

Paul and Michelle are great hosts; very welcoming and provide lots of recommendations for the area and the whole of the South Island. I can only recommend this accommodation for nature lovers who are on a road trip, because you can hear and see birds, it is well located for excursions into the national park and there is an absolutely fantastic sunset on the small beach. Thank you Paul and Michelle for your hospitality and the valuable tips for the South Island. I really enjoyed my stay and talks with you.

The accommodation is located in a quiet neighborhood

There was one partly used roll of toilet paper for two people for two days. There was a request not to use the dishwasher and then no plug for the sink. Coffee for a plunger supplied and no plunger!!!! The list goes on!!

Exceptional

Excellent place to stay. Felt very welcome on arrival. Fantastic communication. Room was very spacious, clean, and well equipped. We had the jacuzzi just outside our room which was all ready for us on arrival as well as the sauna. Paul the manager was just awesome and super helpful with extensive local knowledge. Highly recommended and will be back. 10/10

Amazing host at luxurious lodge

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was exactly what we were hoping for. Paul was extremely welcoming and had great knowledge of the area, the perfect host. The room was clean, cosy and had the most amazing hot tub just outside the room in an idyllic setting. It's a short drive from Kaiteriteri beach and all shops and facilities. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better host or place to stay, thanks so much Paul for a wonderful experience, we look forward to coming back.
