We loved Villa Natural. It was our first stay in Costa Rica and our first time to the area. The house itself is excellent for the area. Just as advertised with beautiful views, a great pool, great A/C, a well equipped kitchen, and as good a location as I imagine there is in the area. If I had to list any negatives I would make sure you are aware that the top and bottom levels are attached via outdoor staircases. Our young kids were tentative on night one, but quickly adjusted. We are also accustomed in the states to having washer and dryer access and doing our own housekeeping. This unit provided the service which may be a positive or negative depending on your view.
We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping, our neighborhood was very safe and gated and the property is very well maintained. We could not have been happier with this place and would definitely recommend to all

We had a group of 6, including a 15month old and a 3 1/2 year old. It was perfect for us. The pool and location were amazing. Hope we can come back soon!

Perfect place for our family of 8, including the 2 grandkids.
The patio and pool were a hit as was the visit by the monkeys.
The property manager/concierge Geralyn was great, giving us options recommendations on excursions, including a last minute change when we changed our minds.

There was a group of 7 of us and the property was very nice. Very clean and beautiful. It was a great location too. Honestly, we did not use the concierge very much as it was easy to book our own adventures, etc.

Excellent property in a wonderful location. We had 3 couples and 2 adults children. The property was ideal for a larger group or family. Loved the open main floor for socializing and the pool area for swimming and sitting out an enjoying the beautiful views. The property was very clean. Easy access to restaurants and the local bus line which we used a lot to go to the beach and Quepos - the local city. Geralyn (our host and planner) was excellent!!!!!! She was very responsive and helpful in planning our excursions and travel connections. Would highly recommend this property.

Our stay in Villa Natura could not have been any better. The home is beautiful, well kept and has the most beautiful views. We loved they layout of the home as it provided some privacy for the parents and the kids. The woodwork in the home was amazing. We were able to open the doors/windows and get the most amazing breeze. Also, our property manager, Geralyn, was very responsive and extremely accommodating. She made our experience even better. If I could give more than 5 Stars I would!

We had a great stay at Villa Natura. The villa was beautiful with great views. It was clean and well cared for. Our start was rough though...
In Costa Rica the roads and houses aren't numbered/labeled. We landed in Quepos around 4:30p. We had a rental car at the airport and proceeded to a grocery to get food for our stay. We communicated with Geralyn, the concierge, that we were going to make it to the villa around 6:30p. Once into Manuel Antonio we couldn't find the road and our GPS in the rental was useless becasue there was no good destination to put in (Use Waze). We tried to call Geralyn but her VM answered in spanish. We drove down several roads trying to get the correct one. On the 4th try I pulled to the side and realized I had nowhere for my family to sleep. We pulled back out to the main road and tried again to call. She answered, switched to video and was able to guide us in. It's then I learned she wasn't at the villa. She gave us a code to get in. I got my family in and tried to sleep with shot nerves. That was the bad.
From there the trip was amazing. We had everything we needed. The maid service (Janet) came two days during our six day stay which worked perfect. She ran a bit of laundry each time for us. After our first night we always felt safe.
Anyone making the trip should request very detailed instructions for finding the correct road. The go and enjoy the time of your life!

Great property located in a secure location in Manuel Antonio within walking distance of restaurants. The house is great for a group of friends to cook and lounge around around the pool! Check in process is smooth and the property manager is very helpful!

This was probably the best vacation we have ever had as a family. The house was a big part of it being successful. Start with the best thing about the house and that is the wildlife. We saw animals all the time sitting out by the pool . We saw lot of monkeys (capuchin and howlers) and macaws along with iguanas and toucans. We never had to go on excursions chasing wildlife because they were all around us. We could hear howler monkeys early each morning. You can see the ocean from pool and the views are spectacular.
The house itself was very nice. It was well stocked with everything we needed. It's awesome the way the kitchen opens up to the outside pool area with some big windows.
The ac's cool everything down very quickly. We had them off big portions during the day and then turned on at night.
Geralyn, our concierge, was awesome and extremely helpful each day with lining up transportation for us as needed. We got by without renting a car which was nice. Everything we needed was in walking distance. Now I will say, if we would have had elderly family members with us or anyone not comfortable with stairs they would have had a rough time. The stairs at the house are steep and the walk up the hill to where everything is at would be challenging if not in decent shape,. All of us were from 48 to 14 and it was absolutely no problem. Several reviews I had read referenced the seperate outside entry to the bedrooms on upper 2 floors, and I could see what they were talking about once arriving. Our kids are all grown and we still worried a little about having them on bottom floor by themselves with us having to exit our top floor to get down the where they were. However, the entire property is able to be locked at the exterior gate which is what we did each night. The street is also gated so it seemed very secure. As mentioned to start review, this was our family's favorite vacation ever and we had been to some nice destinations before. We will be back to this location. Can't recommend enough!

Our family had a great time. Great location, with wonderful views of the ocean and forest. Waking up to sunrise and morning calls of nearby howler monkeys was fantastic.

Some good, some not so good
The good: Wonderful home, very clean and nice! Great pool, Great view. We enjoyed our time at this home as a whole.
The not so good: The 'Daily Maid Service' was once in the 5 days we were there, not that big of a deal but don't advertise daily if its not.
For our situation going outside, out the front door downstairs and in the front door to the 4 bedrooms didn't let us use the master bedroom since we couldn't leave our kids seperated at night...Different for different families but for ours it wasn't clear and wasn't the best.
The Concierge will tell you exactly how much to tip him and the maid....kinda weird, we've never had that come up, and the amount was HIGH. He was ALWAYS asking us what he could book for us, we were happy booking things on our own, it was much easier and cheaper that way!
There is a Ring Camera overlooking the pool...no other cameras looking over the entryway or anything...only the pool. Another thing we didn't like so much.
Overall we had a great time but would find a different rental next time

Amazing first time visit
This was our first trip to CR and we all absolutely loved it! The house was a perfect set up for our family of 5. Lots of stairs, but we didn’t mind. The view is absolutely worth the climb! The separated bedrooms could be an issue with younger kids, but it worked great for our older children (master on top floor, 3 additional bedrooms only accessed down a flight of steps outside) The location was great. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Our concierge, Geralyn, was so helpful beforehand, as well as throughout our stay. You can plan as many adventures as you want, or the option of enjoying the view from the pool is fantastic too. We can’t wait to come back again.

Good morning howlers
My husband and I rented this property for one week with our 4 kids who range in age 9-16. We didn’t love that the bedrooms for the kids were not connected through the inside to the floor we were staying on, but it worked out fine since our kids are a little older. The kids loved the pool and the waterfall they could turn on and off. The lounge chairs by the pool look nice but are actually incredibly uncomfortable. A hammock somewhere would not be amiss. The rockers on the porch were nice and the porch was also wide enough for yoga as well as a good place to watch the rain. We were there in July and I was relieved that it didn’t rain the entire time we were there. We had some beautiful days. The mornings were usually nice and the rain generally held off until the afternoons. We saw a lot of wildlife. Scarlet macaws flew over several time a day and monkeys came to play and eat in the mango tree. The howler monkeys woke us up every morning though we didn’t see any near the house. Our concierge was helpful- I didn’t realize booking this house came w this service. She was at the house when we arrived and showed us around and she set up an excursion for us. I would suggest bringing lots of cash as most tour companies are cash only. I also suggest doing your own research on tipping in CR. The company that rents the house makes suggestions for how much to tip and it’s exorbitant.
The house was very clean and housekeeping came a couple of times to both clean and do laundry. That was another thing I didn’t realize. Bc the description said laundry on site I assumed I would be able to do laundry. But the facility is locked and only housekeeping has access.
All in all it was a wonderful trip for us- a beautiful part of the country and this house was a lovely place to stay in.

Beautiful Spot
We had a wonderful 5 days with our family. Extremely clean, great service and well appointed kitchen. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of bath towels. Concierge service was terrific. A couple small things to note. While the view is great, the pictures are framed very well to now show a large rooftop that does take a lot of the view away. Also pics do not show that you are right next to other homes on all sides. Still very nice but slightly misleading. While it was certainly a 5 star stay there are a couple things we would do. First is add beach towels to the inventory list. They have a lot of bath and pool towels but ask that you do not bring them to the beach. A set of separate beach towels would be nice. We would also have more seating out by the pool. Only 2 lounge chairs were in high demand. Also would add some nicer seating up at the top view area as there was only one working chair. Finally we kept talking about how much a hammock or two would have been perfect out on the balcony. These are all small areas for improvement. Overall a wonderful place!

Fantastic Holiday
Our family of seven had a fantastic time staying at this home over Christmas. We were greeted by Mefi, our concierge. He was very thorough in welcoming us and introducing us to the area. I felt he went above and beyond when he had me get in his car and then drive me around since I was unfamiliar with the area. He pointed out the restaurants and the beaches and their different access points. We ate at most of his recommendations for restaurants and they were all fantastic! The house is located in the heart of Manuel Antonio, so there are probably 5 or 6 great restaurant choices all within walking distance. We did rent a car, which I would highly recommend for this area if you want to go to the beach frequently. The house has a magnificent view of the ocean, but it is down a the mountain to get there. This is just how Manuel Antonio is . . . the houses and hotels are on the hillside, and the beaches are down at the bottom. I felt bad for those people who walked to the beach. The housekeeper, Ismaria, was also fantastic. She cleaned, did our laundry, and was so pleasant. On Christmas Eve, we hired one of the chefs that Mefi recommended -- Jeinor. He made us a fantastic dinner for our "noche buena" celebration. This was the trip of a lifetime for our family. We made great memories here. I would highly recommend this place for families.

Beautiful home!
We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was as described, very roomy and the furniture very nice quality. The kitchen and bathrooms were beautiful. The A/C works great. The master room bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed a dinner by one the chefs and it was very enjoyable. There was construction as previously mentioned in other reviews. Two out of the three days we had a jack hammer going all day. But, the owner kindly made us aware of this beforehand and offered a discount should we wish to stay as planned. Since we were touring most of the day it was of little consequence. I felt it was very fair. If you plan to sit all day by the beautiful pool, it may be another matter.

Beautiful location
Was disappointed upon arrival to find construction going in all around us, but the owner gave us a discount because of it. That was really the only negative i have. The place has an amazing view, is clean, and well kept!

Outstanding home!
This home is simply stunning, with fine craftsmanship throughout and a spectacular view. We spent a lot of time on both sides of the breakfast bar! Location is perfect as well...you can walk to several great restaurants and drive a short distance to many more. There are also a few grocery stores in the area, and a five minute or so drive to the National Park.
There was a very detailed guide book in the house, and Mefi is also a great source of information before and during your stay. The Can-Am off-road tour was quite fun!
The construction on both sides of the house was unfortunate, but Pablo at CRVacation Properties handled the situation very professionally, and we appreciated knowing ahead of time so we could adjust our expectations accordingly. Wildlife viewing was limited to a few birds and lizards, likely due to the construction noise as well as loss of trees.
One thing that should be added to the property description is that the three bedrooms on the lower level are separate from the main home and master bedroom...there is no interior staircase. I spent the first night on one of the twin beds because my daughter was nervous. By the second night, we discovered that she could use the intercom on the cordless phone if she needed us. There is a small living area, coffee station and mini-fridge on the lower level.
We only cooked breakfast, but the kitchen was very well equipped, including coffee, sugar, and spices. There were plenty of bath and pool towels, and two beach towels. Also plenty of soap and paper products as well as toiletries in each bathroom, which was a nice touch.
We did need some laundry done on our cleaning day. We really didn't want to trouble the housekeeper with it on a holiday weekend, but there was no access to the washer and dryer, so I couldn't do it myself. In any case, it was nice to come back to clean and folded laundry and a once-again spotless house.
Overall, we had a very nice stay in this well-appointed home, and appreciate the care and attention from the whole team. Thank you!

Beautiful Property
Its a great place, we had a spectacular time. The staff and concierge were very involved. The only complaint is there is construction on both sides of the house (new houses being built) and workers are there from as early as 6 am until 6 pm everyday but Sunday. If there was not construction, It would be 5 stars

Amazing Villa, perfect place to relax and enjoy plenty of wildlife
We stayed at Villa Natura for 7 wonderful nights in January. Our group of 8 cannot stop talking about the Villa and how amazing our stay was! The Villa has beautiful views of the ocean and of the surrounding jungle/trees. Mefi was so great, he planned two awesome tours for us (Vacation buggy waterfall tour & Mangrove Estuary boat tour), dinner prepared by Chef Jenior our first evening at the Villa (which we all highly recommend), and he also arranged several trips to the beach and so much more! Our first day at the Villa we were “greeted” by about 30 monkeys who put on an amazing show for us! After we spent the day at the beach, the pool area was a wonderful way to further relax before getting ready for dinner. Overall we still can’t stop talking about how great our stay was at Villa Natura and I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Manuel Antonio.

Amazing house with great view of the ocean
My family and I had an incredible time and had plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed the pool and bbq on the patio and the kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. It is in a great location and close to the beach and restaurants. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

Beautiful, wonderful experience
My family (myself, husband, and son) with my husband's family stayed here July 2018. The house was well kept, clean, and roomy, the location was lovely and exactly what we were looking for. I will say that there are a lot of stairs just to keep in mind if you have people with mobility issues in your party. There are a lot of stairs everywhere in the area because because it is so mountainous (and wonderful). We saw tons of wildlife while we were here, everyone we encountered was very kind, I would recommend it to anyone. Vacation of a lifetime.

First class
This villa is spacious with lovely decor. The layout accommodated our group of 7 perfectly. The location is perfect for walking to town for restaurants, groceries & the bus. The bus is a convenient and inexpensive way to get to the National Park and beaches. Despite our trip falling on one the busiest weeks of the year, Mefi was quick to respond to any questions and/or help with last minute arrangements. He arranged several excursions in advance of our arrival and each one was top notch! Febe did a great job keeping the house clean each day. We hope to return to Costa Rica and Villa Natura!

Incredible views and plenty of monkeys
The Villa was perfect for our group of 8 and the Master bedroom design should be in a magazine - truly beautiful. The view of the Ocean and sunsets were prefect and the location was walking distance to everything we needed. I cannot compliment the staff enough between the daily maid service and super Concierge Mefi, they handled everything that we needed. We will be back!

Beautiful home and great location.
The house is incredibly functional, with everything you need to feel like you're at home. Most importantly it's beautiful incredibly well divided with great open spaces and private spaces, and a beautiful deck to enjoy the views and swimming in the pool. We saw some of the most amount of our wildlife just relaxing by the pool. The staff kept the house immaculate with Febe's work, and our concierge Mefi did a great job assisting our every need. I can't recommend this house enough.

Beautiful property with all the right touches!
We had a lovely two week stay in this modern villa, which was perfect for a family vacation. The kids slept downstairs and my husband and I had the beautiful master suite on the main floor. The pool was a big hit with everyone. The views are magnificent and the location is central to restaurants, shopping and walking to the beach. It is quite hilly, so the cheap and dependable public transportation is quite useful. The property is well maintained. The kitchen was lovely to cook in and we often bought fresh fish and vegetables at markets which were great on the grill. The staff was delightful and very accommodating. Services included cleaning, laundry, transportation, excursions and anything else we needed. I highly recommend this property and plan on booking it again myself!

Best house for a family vacation
This house was awesome for my family and me. With two small kids, we had our own space and the oldest loved the pool and waterfall. It was clean and well maintained and the kitchen is pretty well stocked with all the utensils and appliances you need to cook for the whole family. It's walking distance to two different beaches, and if you don't feel like walking a mile or so, the public transport bus comes every 20 minutes and takes you right there. We stayed for 2 weeks and were able to really settle in and live comfortably. Will definitely go back!
