Step into historic Jim Thorpe and stay in Mary Packer Cummings former carriage house. This spacious second floor apartment features vaulted ceilings, a SPA bathroom with steam and dry sauna in the spacious shower. It comes with everything you would need for your trip, including a spacious layout, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable dining room, living room with 52 inch flatscreen UHD TV, as well as a large deck that overlooks Jim Thorpe. Comes with reserved offstreet parking!

The guesthouse was gorgeous, clean and everything was perfect. The property manager and their crew could not do enough to assist us in anyway.

This property far exceeded our expectations. Perfect location and adorable apartment. Everything here was perfect for us. The host was easily accessible and accommodating. He was hands down the best host I’ve encountered on VRBO. Jeff gave us a list of locals activities as well as local restaurants. I will definitely stay here again. The place is dog friendly too, which is even more of a bonus.

The apartment is gorgeous, the kitchen has everything you may need, the porch has a great view, and the location is super convenient as long as you don’t mind the short uphill walk as you come back from downtown (it was nothing to me but my friend with joint issues needed a quick break). We were allowed to park on the property early so we walked right across the street for the Old Jail tour until check in. We didn’t expect to need the washer and dryer until we did so thankfully detergent was provided. The Roku tv was convenient as well. The only thing we’d like to see added is throw blankets to get cozy while watching tv. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

Apartment D was wonderful. It was wonderful inside and the outside space was fantastic. Having a parking space was also in valuable. Jeffery was very responsive and extremely helpful with recommendations of restaurants and activities.

Beautiful well maintained property. Decorated for Christmas. Steam shower was out of this world. Very close to downtown. Easy walk. Friendly property manager. Will stay here again.

This was our second year staying here for Thanksgiving and we plan to be back next year. Perfect location, clean, well-appointed, great hosts. The wonderful extras like the steam shower, fireplace, and outdoor patio with chiminea make this cozy apartment exactly what is needed to relax and just get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday demands. Thank you Jeffrey and Chad for being wonderful hosts and allowing our dog to accompany us too!

This spot is a complete gem! Perfect for a couple who wants to get away in the quiet (but lots to do town) of Jim Thorpe. An easy walk to all of downtown, and a quick drive to the hiking/biking/water sports spots.
The service from the owners was fantastic, and its clear they care very much about both the property and their town.

What a pleasant surprise this property was! Absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Loved the spa bathroom. Every room was so spacious. We only stayed one night, but we love Jim Thorpe, and will be back for a long weekend get away soon!

This apartment was beautiful and I highly recommend staying here! The place was lovely and very well decorated. It was very clean as well. The bathroom and sauna are amazing and very luxurious. The apartment was in walking distance of many great stores and restaurants. Chad and Jeff were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

We ventured 45 minutes to check out Bethlehem for a couple massage (the local massage studio was temporarily closed), which was another beautiful little town to experience for a day trip. Chad and Jeffrey were incredibly helpful and kind. The accommodation was perfectly clean with lovely little touches. I would definitely come back to see Jim Thorpe spring other seasons and stay here!

I lost my husband the beginning of November. I wanted a quiet retreat to come to grips with what has occurred. The High Street management treated me with the greatest respect and showed such compassion for what I was going through. My apartment was perfect for what I needed, was very clean and orderly, and anything I could possibly want all It took was a phone call to the management and I received it. I will be coming here again hopefully with my daughters as a retreat in the near future. I highly recommend High Street Guest House as a perfect place to unwind and further enjoy this rich little community.

I absolutely loved this place! Cute, cozy, unique, rustic, and homie..home... Chad the property manager is great, friendly and helpful... I will definitely be staying here again !! I had my dog with me as well , it was great for him as well.. Great outdoor deck area he got to enjoy and loved it !!! The town is so beautiful and friendly , all the shops and different place to eat were amazing as well .. I loved waking up to it being nice and quite outside , was soothing hearing the church bells ring .. I Highly recommend this property !!
