Al lovely well equipped villa with a really warm swimming pool.
4.7
My wife and I stayed here for one week in the summer and found it to be a beautiful house. It was in excellent condition with just about every convenience I could think of.
It’s a big place with nice grounds that have a very nice swimming pool that is crystal clear with warm water. The views across the countryside to the sea were wonderful and the location within the village meant that a five minute walk is all it took to be in the heart of it.
Several really nice restaurants and bars will see you entertained in the evenings with no need to drive. A ten minute drive to the beach and you’ll find more bars and restaurants.
This house is just an easy 20-minute drive from Paphos airport on largely empty roads. We would definitely stay there again.

This lovely villa is really well situated in a very peaceful part of Pissouri. Only a few minutes from the main town and the restaurant and bars strip, excellent. The villa itself is very well appointed with all the amenities anyone would want, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The air conditioning was a Godsend as Cyprus was suffering from unusually VERY HOT weather for the time of year. The views are excellent right over to Akrotiri and it was nice but a shame to see the damage caused by the sink holes a few years ago and the damage they have caused to what look like would have been lovely properties. The courtyard is huge and makes it very easy for parking your car, which I might add is a must for Cyprus as there’s so much to see and do. The pool was slightly disconcerting to start with as the slope in it is quite fierce down to a 2.4 metre deep end but despite it being solar heated it was lovely and cooling in the very hot sun. The villa has a strange set up with the 2 main bedrooms in the main building but we found the third basically under the villa on the lower terrace area. The pool room also has a shower etc and there’s even a fridge to keep your drinks etc cold when up, yes up, at the pool. All in all a great villa with everything you would want for a fantastic holiday. Would we go back? Yes definitely, you won’t be disappointed with Villa Margarita. Enjoy.

Arrived in the dark and had difficulty with the front door lock even with the double throw mortice lock fully open, but discovered there is a knack to getting the catch to open. After that it was all OK.
The villa is full of character and comfortable with lots of corners where you can be in full sun or in the shade. The views from the upstairs balcony are great.
The pool kitchen, toilet and shower are an asset.
We didn't cook much as we ate out on most days, but when boiling water in a pan we found that one burner didn't ignite on the downstairs gas hob and the washing machine appeared to be inoperative. Both no big deal and the upstairs machine worked fine. The dishwasher was a god-send.
Some negatives, though overall we enjoyed our stay: Some TLC in various parts of the property would improve the overall experience immensely. Weeds growing through all parts of the hardstanding; sunbeds on the downstairs terrace were in need of repair or replacement; the downstairs bathroom was in need of a revamp/facelift; there are a lot of steps in the property so be prepared for them. The pool terrace parasol needs replacing.
The villa is within walking distance of the tavernas and restaurants in Pissouri, but if you want to visit the ones down in Pissouri Bay, which we preferred, then you will need a hire car.
Overall the villa was quiet, characterful and generally comfortable.

Perfect stay, exactly what we were looking for.
We will come back for sure.

We enjoyed our stay location was perfect for our needs.
The facilities were good and the owner was very helpful our only fault we could possibly find is the pool could do with a bit more attention.
But overall a lovely villa

Can only really echo what previous reviewers have said. Pissouri is a lovely village centrally located for touring around Cyprus, car is essential. We have stayed in the village many times before the pandemic. The villa is spacious, comfortable, and very well equiped, especially the kitchen. The view from the balcony of the distant Pissouri bay is amazing. It is within walking distance of the village square and some good local restaurants, personal favourite the Hideaway.
4.7
The villa is very spacious and had every thing that you would want and need.
The location was on the edge of Pissouri and only a 10 minute walk (stroll) into the village square where you had a varied choose of restaurants. Pissouri beach is less than 10 mins drive from the villa which has a pebble beach but beautiful. Again lots of restaurants to choose from.
Overall we had a great holiday and would not hesitate to rebook this villa on our return to Cyprus.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Margarita - it is spacious and has lovely outside areas so perfect for the two of us. The villa itself is extremely well-equipped (especially the kitchen) and has fantastic views from the balcony where we often enjoyed a sunny breakfast or an evening glass of wine. We loved the pool area and the pool and having the small kitchen with fridge worked well for keeping snacks and cold drinks. The villa is in a great location in the lovely (and very friendly) village of Pissouri just a few minutes walk from the village square where there is a good choice of restaurants. We particularly liked the Bunch of Grapes and Steakhouse by Michael. We hired a car locally for some of our stay so were able to visit Paphos, the beach and other local sights as well as stock up at the supermarket. The owners, Margaret and Philip, were extremely helpful and always responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely recommend this villa.

Can’t fault this place , beautiful villa with everything you could need , Mr Antonis came almost every day to clean the pool and garden areas, lovely man , pissouri village square is fantastic, with restaurants and bars ( I would highly recommend the bunch of grapes ) 3-4 min walk , pissouri bay , beach 3km … it really is as good as it sounds, would highly recommend.

My family and i had an amazing stay. The villa is in a great location with amazing views. The villa has everything you need and a fab pool. Would recommend to anyone.

Wow fabulous villa home from home with beautiful views and comfy furnishings! Tv with catch up a bonus lovely pool kept clean by friendly Antoios would highly recommend villa and Pissouri.

Needs a bit of TLC and sunbeds needed cleaning. Location and views stunning.

Villa Margarita is in a great location, just a short walk from the village square. The property has a lovely balcony with beautiful views of the countryside and the sea beyond.

This villa is amazing. Didn’t want to leave today. Well equipped with Everything you need and the pool area is fabulous. Ideal having a kitchen area there for cold drinks so you didn’t have to go back to villa. Spent all our time there. Fantastic views as well. Cannot recommend this enough. Hopefully go back next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Margarita, the accommodation was very well equipped and there were fantastic views over to Pissouri Bay and Troodos Mountains.
4.7
We booked villa Margarita for two weeks, arriving at the villa in the evening was easy to find, we has booked a hire car from Paphos Airport it took around 35 minutes. Car hire essential if you want to explore. The villa was homely and well laid out as there was only my husband and myself we only used one of the bedrooms. The kitchen had plenty of utensils although we only had breakfast ate out most of the time. The villa owner advised us prior to arriving that there was a wall being built outside the front of the villa there was a bit of noise, it was a bit loud for a day or two but didn't spoil our holiday. The pool area had ample sun loungers, it was lovely to enjoy the sun all of the day. There was a small kitchen this was great as we were able to keep cold drinks in the fridge while relaxing at the pool. We needed the pool cleaned this was not a problem we contacted the person looking after the villa they came later the same day.
I would recommend the villa for a couple or family stay.

Mooie lokatie voor een short-break
We had a wonderful time in your place.
Nice House, several places you can sit outside, nice swimming pool. Pissouri is a nice village, walking distance to restaurants and pubs. From Pissouri it’s easy to visit Necosia, Paphos and other places. Nice country, affordable prices for food and drinks, I would recommend Cyprus and the Villa in Pissouri

We were a little underwhelmed on arrival at the villa. It was a little shabbier than we were expecting and not super clean. However, it was in a great location, walkable to the village conveniences and a short drive from various other towns and attractions. The pool was also lovely, heated by the beating sun every day to a comfortable 26°C, and the pool kitchen and bathroom made the location of the pool set away from the main house actually very practical. We met Mr. Dinos who was very nice and helpful too.
A couple of hopefully constructive feedbacks, and why we didn't score it a 5*... The flat and main villa were both a little dirty on arrival. Bed linen and towels were clean but the bathroom sinks not so much and there was dust gathered in corners of various rooms. Also the fridge in the flat does not actually work (we found out the hard way) and neither does the air con in the living/dining room of the main villa, hence the stand-up fan, I suppose. We had a great time and the accommodation served us well, but we wanted to give honest feedback on things which can hopefully be easily improved upon for future guests.

The photos are underselling view and house
Our family have spent a week in the villa in late October.
We arrived late night / early morning. Our hosts had been so kind as to arrange for breakfast for us. So in the fridge we found bread, juice, eggs and more - fantastic!
The house was clean and tidy. The beds were ready and there was plenty of towels. The pool was clean, everything worked.
The pool and pool house with bath and fridge are situated a bit up the hill. Between the pool and the house there is an enclosed courtyard with parking space, orange tree and barbeque. Below the house a big terrace. Lots of flowering srubs and trees. So much space!
The downstairs apartment was great for my mother in law.
Every morning I was watching the sunrise from the balcony. The sun came up right over the salt lake on the Akrotini peninsula, where we went one day to see the flamingos. The view over the bay is stunning!
The bakery and the square are in walking distance. The village is cosy, but this year due to the covid 19 very empty.
The Melanda Beach 15 minutes away has got a sandy beach, a great seafood restaurant and a peaceful atmosphere.
The mountains are close by, and we went to the Kaledonia Falls, where there is a trail following the stream up the forest to the waterfall. The forest smells good, and the views are stunning. We can also recommend Nea Paphos, ruins from 300 before Christ - wonderful mosaics!
We like to spend our holidays new places - but here we might come back! The house and surroundings were a great setting for a great holiday for both kids and grownups and there is still so much to see and experience...
Kind regards
Karen and Jonas Johannessen with family from Roskilde, Denmark.

Lovely villa and superb location
Lovely villa with excellent facilities, quirky layout on different levels. Views down to the coast are beautiful. Location is excellent 7/8 mins walk into the village. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay at Margarita Villa
We had a lovely week in Cyprus, first time visiting, the villa was lovely and clean and the process was very easy on arrival there.
Some lovely restaurants are only a short walk away and the weather was fantastic. Overall great stay at Margarita Villa!

You could not ask for a more spacious and clean villa. It has everything you need for a peaceful or vibrant relaxing stay. The views are stunning and the locals extremely friendly and helpful. The main village square full of bars and restaurants is minutes away on foot. Thoroughly recommended

Good place to stay in a great location
Roomy house, with an interesting layout. All the important things, like sitting areas, pool and surround, barbecue area, comfortable beds, good bathrooms with plenty of hot water, and well equipped kitchen are well provided. Spotlessly clean and tidy. We met the friendly caretakers who do a good job.
We have no significant complaints, but we have four minor comments
:
1. We did not go to Cyprus to watch TV, but wanted to catch up on the news occasionally. The instructions were incorrect, and when we finally got a signal after fiddling about, it kept cutting out after 10-15 minutes and we had to start all over again.
2. The lighting could be improved. It was difficult to read in the sitting room in the evening, as the lights were rather dim. The harsh fluorescent light in the kitchen is reminiscent of a 1940's prefab.
3. Like another reviewer, we would have liked to see a visitors' book. in which people could put tips on restaurants, beaches sights and shopping.
4. The 5 minutes to -the village centre is for fit 25 year olds. We are in our late seventies, and it took about 12 minutes to the Bunch of Grapes.
We will not be put off by these points when making a future visit. This is probably the best value villa/flat we have stayed in in Cyprus.

The main villa and pool area was well presented and very clean. The additional flat/third bedroom however, was in need of a bit of attention aesthetically and a good clean.

We had a lovely holiday with a few littleproblems
It would be lovely to have a welcome pack and a visitors book. The batteries in the remote controls were leaking and we never did get the tv which is a mass of cables, working..The steps up to the main sitting room were a little difficult to negotiate for me (balance problems ) but these things apart the villa and the pool were lovely and in a very good position and we loved the lemons.
4.7
Lovely property
We enjoyed our stay at the villa and found the property to be charming and well equipped. In winter it can be challenging to maintain a comfortable temperature in the property but I expect this would only be the case for the coldest week's of the year which is when we happened to be staying there. The location is excellent for access to the village square with several good restaurants as well as shopping. Pissouri village is also close to the A6 for trips to tourist sights in Paphos and Limassol.
4.7
Lovely spacious villa, self contained lower apartment ideal for holidaying with friends or family.
less than 5 minute walk to Pissouri centre, well equipped villa split on 2 levels, lower level being 1 bedroom self contained apartment, perfect if you are holidaying with friends or relatives who would rather have their own space.
Great views from the balcony.
The pool is very deep, ideal for jumping in but not ideal for small children, (there were floats/woggles on site which we used a lot), the pool is at the rear of the property and is enclosed so you can shut the gate, lovely patio at the front of the villa plenty of room for small children to play safely as also enclosed.
4.7
Lovely and restful
Lovely villa which has loads of room and very well equipped. Has a lovely balcony at the front where you can see the sea in the distance. Great for having your meals as mostly in the shade. Bit difficult to explain but the main villa has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living/dining room, and kitchen. Underneath the main villa is a granny flat, with a further bedroom, kitchen and living room/dining room. Plenty of parking space and the pool was really warm (24 degrees). The pool area had a further shower and toilet and a kitchen area with a fridge. Wi-fi worked perfectly. Bedrooms and living room have air conditioning which were really needed at night as it was so hot when we went. As I say, very well equipped, there was nothing we needed at all. It's a stones throw from the centre of Pissouri which has a number of restaurants and bars and a supermarket. There is a bigger supermarket but you will need to drive to that one buts it's not far at all. It was clean, well presented and would I stay here again, absolutely.

Fantastic Villa.
We stayed in Villa Margarita for two wonderful weeks. All the rooms were really clean and spacious with everything you could possibly need. A real home from home. Off the living area there is a lovely large terrace with great views to the sea. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe space. The bathrooms, all four of them including the one at the pool were clean with lots of towels provided. The outside space was fantastic, with fruit trees, patio areas with bbq and a really great pool with little kitchen area, good for nice cold drinks at the pool. Pissouri Village is a 2 minute stroll away, with some lovely restaurants and tavernas. The Bunch of Grapes is a must, as is Leo Sparti pub for drinks. The beach is a 5 minute drive away, with more nice places to eat. Kastros was good, and some water sports but not too many. We found pissouri to be the ideal place to explore the island, being only 30 minutes away from both Paphos and Limasol. The Troodos Mountains are breathtaking. All in all, a fantastic village with lovely people and a great villa. What more could you ask for?
