About this house rental
They are in the historical upper residential part of Praiano, at a mere 1 km from the busy main arterial road of the Amalfi coast. Moressas apartments have been renovated with taste but simplicity.
Each of the two linked apartment has a well-equipped kitchen with oven, fridge, refrigerator, cutlery, dishware, pans a great advantage for a large family or friends trip. Each apartment comprises of one bedroom with queen size bed and the other bedroom with two single beds, two bathrooms (shower head is only in 3 out of the 4 bathrooms), a large living/dining room with a sofa; we can accommodate a 9th person on the upper floor sofa-bed. The larger Moressa apartment has two big terraces, whilst Moressa Little has a long balcony .
You could all gather together at the main terrace of the larger apartment for a common party where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the coast. The main terrace is equipped with a table and chairs, as well as two sun beds and a large canopy to protect yourself from the warm and shining summer sun of the South of Italy. The apartments are close to a grocery shop "Tutto Per Tutti". Not to mention the beautiful trendy restaurants located along via Umberto at few minutes away. The village center with additional restaurants and more food options is at only 10 minutes’ walk.
The beach of La Praia is just 15 minutes’ walk; from here you could get on boats to Capri or hire a water taxi to the nearby beaches or Positano or Amalfi. From twilight the seashore is full of sparking light creating a spectacular and romantic atmosphere; the typical restaurants, the busy bars and the gorgeous Africana grottos will be the magical frame that will tempt you each night during your stay in Praiano.
You can use the local Praiano shuttle bus service that loops the village and Positano until late at night. The main bus stop of Sita is at 5-minutes' walk. The apartment has a convenient private garage which can be used for 2 medium cars or for a Small van (a big van might not fit into its door entryway).
Please DO NOTE that there in only one air conditioning machine on each floor. We do not have winter heating. At Moressa Little (top floor) the A/C unit is in the living room. Whilst at Moressa with Terrace the A/C unit is in the master bedroom. YET having the machine on, it will cool partially also the rest of the apartment other areas. We provide of fans in the rooms where the A/C unit is unavailable. The house goes in the shade at 4:00 pm and cools down during the evening for a pleasant sleep!
