We love the location of this home.Three Oaks is a fabulous small town close to the beach. The home is spacious with confortable furniture. The AC was not working but the property manager did everything she could to make it comfortable for us and remedy the situation. She ultimately gave us a refund. We are grateful and overall had a great time and stay at this home even though the AC was not working The dinner below is a must visit.

The place was roomy, clean, decorated very well, and very well stocked. The location could not be better. Walk to everything Three Oaks has to offer and a short drive to everything SW Michigan has to offer.

We stayed here for a wedding and we could not of been happier. The place was very spacious and extremely clean. Great location! There is a restaurant underneath the place to quickly get coffee and breakfast. The town is just so cute and walk to the wedding and all our friends rentals . Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Three Oaks area!

This place is simply amazing. We had 4 adult, non-couple family members stay here for a family reunion. The den serves well as a third bedroom and the living room futon is perfect for one adult. Each person had their own space. Two bathrooms is the way to go. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. The location and layout of the unit were perfect for our needs. We especially loved the artwork and colorful decor along with a very interesting book selection. In addition, the home was extremely clean.

Very cute and well thought out place to stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Three Oaks was a delightful surprise! Cute shopping area within walking distance. The breakfast café below the apartment was delicious. We would highly recommend anyone stay here and we hope to be back.

Great hosts, and the location was perfect. We went to a show at the Acorn Theater and it was a quick walk. The restaurant next to the rental is awesome, and a lot of neat little shops nearby that we enjoyed.

This property is beautiful with tons of artwork. It was cozy and had great natural light. It’s close to everything you want to do and where you want to eat. Kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. It’s a 5 minute drive to amazing hiking trails along the river. We were very comfortable staying here and would stay again. Host was great too!

Our adult family of five stayed here for the weekend of an art show at the Acorn Theater. The space was great for us. We loved the huge common space for meals and gathering. The Oak Eatery just below this unit has possibly the best breakfasts we've had in years, which added to the quality of the weekend. The unit is fully stocked with basically everything you could ever need. Really a great space.

My kids and I stayed here for the weekend while we attended Notre Dame football. (We like staying in 3 Oaks when we come for games). This apartment exceeded our expectations on all fronts. Clean, convenient, good price, charming. Will be staying here again!

We needed a place to stay for a family wedding happening over Thanksgiving weekend at the Journeyman space down the street. Thankfully, the owner was willing to give us early access to the apt in time to get prepped for the event after our 3 hour drive into town. The unit was very spacious and clean allowing all 5 of us to enjoy ourselves. The town was adorable — decorated for the holidays with charming activities happening — we even woke up to a dusting of the first snow of the season! I wish we had more time in our schedule to enjoy the area. I will say that the view from the front of the apartment is much nicer than the back and that I did spend a bit of time searching for unit check-out procedures so that could have been more clear. Overall, a great stay!

The pictures were accurate and the place was clean. We went to a concert at Acorn and dinner at Journeyman and the location was perfect-very close walking distance. We also ate at the diner. We had a great time!

I thought the property was clean and in good repair. There were a lot of dishware and utensils available (even a Kitchen Aid mixer with several attachments!). We did not have an opportunity to eat at the bistro below, but from the menu it sounded good. Just not enough time with our other planned activities. We only had one small concern:
-If you are bringing a small child along, I would caution that it is not toddler friendly because you would need a gate for the stairs (there is no doorway at the top), and the dishes & even china (which looked lovely) were displayed on lower shelves in the kitchen area without cabinet doors. These were very tempting to a toddler. Ours thankfully did not snatch at any of them, but I know many toddlers would have.
That being said, still a nice place to stay. Overall a GREAT experience.

We had a great time. Great location. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, misc. Bathrooms were clean. Would stay again and would recommend to family/friends.
There were bulbs missing from some lamps and other bulbs in the family room (ceiling) that were out completely. In addition, the ceiling fan in the family room vibrated and shook a lot.

First, the good: my FIRST communications with Property Manager were excellent. The location could not have been better! The decor was colorful and appealing. The space was generous. The bathrooms were very clean.
And now, the less than: overall the space looked clean but that was merely on the surface. There were clothes from a previous user in a closet, there were clothes under a chair cushion ( I was looking for a pen I thought slid down there), there was partially eaten food in the refrigerator and freezer, and much of the silverware was not clean.
****Here’s the thing that led me to call 911: about midnight of our last night at 8 S Elm, an unknown man was on the second floor deck immediately outside the room we were sleeping in! He was VERY loudly arguing with someone on a cellphone and was not leaving. We did not feel safe. The 911 operator contacted Three Oaks police and they sent a cruiser to the rear of the property where the deck is. We had stealthily moved to the other end of the apartment. Three Oaks police let me know that they had “removed” the man.
We gathered our belongings and left very early that morning.
Not one communication from Property Manager since.
NOT a good first experience with VRBO!

This property was the perfect place to stay while we were in town for a tour of Journeyman Distillery. Close enough to walk to everything. Great food options nearby. Apartment was very clean and decorated nicely.

We stop in Three Oaks every year on our way to visit Great Grandma for Thanksgiving. We were thrilled to find a beautiful place within walking distance to Journeyman Distillery. We appreciated the terrific kitchen space (we always cook our own food on trips due to food allergies). We also appreciated the beautiful artwork and artistic decor throughout. Clearly, the person who decorated has an appreciation for arts and culture.

Good location for our ND football game. Lots of cute local restaurants! Pull out couches not comfy and really not for sleeping, but there was a roll away cot. No check out info provided and had to ask for check in info. Thankfully we didn’t get ticketed for parking on the street, just a warning. No parking instructions provided and no street signs indicating that we couldn’t park on the street over night. Apartment much larger than expected and very clean. Apartment is above a very cute breakfast spot, but they start prepping early so be prepared to be hear that around 6am.

We stayed in Three Oaks on our way to Traverse City and this apartment was a great find. It was roomy, full of personality and within walking distance to several restaurants.
Enjoyed dinner at Journeyman and breakfast at Viola s. The apartment was clean and well stocked.
