Reine Katastrophe. Nicht zu empfehlen

Es war reine Katastrophe. Ich habe zwei Nächte gebucht, bin nur eine Nacht geblieben. Würde gerne das Geld zurück verlangen. Aber das geht leider nicht. Das Hotel muss kernsarniert werden. Boden ist total verdreckt. Das Bettbezug war voll mit Schamm Haaren. Es war kalt. Und ganze Nacht laut. Gardinen müssen dringend gewaschen werden. Lampen sind kaputt, aber funktionieren noch. Es hat komisch gestunken. Ganze Nacht hat ein Gast am telefonieren, konnte alles hören. Auf jeden Fall schreckliche Nacht gewesen. Beim Buchung habe ich noch nach Bewertungen geschaut, die war gut bewertet. Aber als ich rein kamm, habe ich Schock bekommen. Auf jeden Fall, nicht zu empfehlen.

Very questionable hygiene

Friendly staff

Room and hallway had a major stench of a dog (or animal), there were pills of some three types in the (dirty) drawer, both trash cans had old garbage. The outside door is never locked, even when no personnel is not present. Be aware toiletries are not included in the reservation. Hanging electric cables

very noisy

Location.

Our booked room was already taken, so we were transferred to a small, horrible broom room for one night. The hotel was very noisy, so we could not sleep, and after four nights, we decided to move to another location. Unfortunately, the hotel took the payment for our stay already, and we could not get the payment back for the eight nights we didn’t stay.

I cannot say if the accommodation was good or not as when we came there the receptionist told us that due to late check-out of previous guests they do not have vacant rooms. However we really appreciated that the otel arranged another hotel in the region where they had vacant capacities and we could stay at another hotel which was really great. To sum up I guess the hotel Babylon has very good staff which is able to solve unexcpeted situations wonderfully. :-)

Good on first visit but some restoration needed in second room.

This was our second visit to this hotel, on our return route from the Alps to the Amsterdam ferry. On our first visit we had given an excellent review. It was clean and comfortable. We had opted for a room upgrade, an extra 10 euro, on the basis that the room was larger and had a balcony and view.

On our return visit we didn't bother with the upgrade and were surprised to find that the basic 2 bed room, although smaller, also had a balcony and view. So the upgrade had been unnecessary. However unlike the upgraded room this room was in need of some restoration. There were stains on the carpet and lace curtains and the wallpaper behind the radiator was peeling off. Both bedside lamps and the TV were unplugged and had rather inaccessible sockets. The table on the balcony had not been cleared from the previous visitor, cigarette ends and a cup of coffee, and also the fridge had left over food in it. A mirror was resting on the floor having become detached.

A good stopping off point on route from the Amsterdam ferry to the Alps

Clean and comfortable. Although they don’t do breakfast the bakery they suggested in the square was excellent and quite a unique experience .

Disappointing

A bad choice. Everything worn and aged. Stained carpet, dirty curtain. The sheet on the bed worn and holed. the bathroom was not properly sanitized. To avoid.

Nice bed. Restaurant at hotel good food. They not have any breakfast but a really good bakery/café only 50m from hotel where had great breakfast Good budget hotel

maybe in a few months time it will be ready but what will the price be then

The manager or owner who was a lady was very friendly and apologetic as things were not right when we arrived. complimentary coffee and some cigarettes where offered as the room was not ready

considering the hotel is still being renovated so there is no bar no restaurant as advertised however not even a reception area and have to wait outside in the cold I think having to pay 100 euros is a bit of a cheek considering the quality of other hotels in the cities and for less money. this is in a small village with nothing of particular interest nearby, its just a village. we arrived on a Saturday and so check in time was pushed to 3 pm and out by 11. and still they were not organised enough to have the room ready and it was 5.30 before we got into a cold room with no heating on and the windows open. I want a hotel room to be warm and comfortable, when we turned the radiators on they were barely warm. it was clean but even though it was freshly decorated it still had that dated feeling to it.
