Elegant, comfortable room in beautiful condition. Good breakfast in garden cafe. Bowl of fresh fruit to greet us was especially welcome late at night after long day traveling.
Very loud music playing downstairs lasted till about 1 am. No hot water for morning shower. Extremely hard to find.

The hotel is located in a historical villa in Heliopolis, which is a very nice neighbourhood of Cairo, not far from the airport and well connected with the centre by metro. It is a complex of different restaurants and it has also a nice rooftop bar.
The fact that the hotel is in a complex of restaurants and bars has many advantages but also the disadvantage that there is noise until relatively late and because the sound isolation of the windows is bad (common problem in all hotels I stayed in Egypt) it is not recommended if you are looking for quiet.

The hotel's design and decor were a testament to its boutique nature. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the tasteful artwork and elegant furnishings to the thoughtfully curated colour palette. The rooms exuded a cozy and inviting atmosphere, creating the perfect space to relax.
The room I stayed in was a comfortable haven with a distinct personality. It was evident that the hotel took pride in its unique and individually designed rooms. The attention to detail was remarkable, with carefully chosen furnishings and stylish accents that added to the overall charm. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were of high quality, ensuring a pleasant and restful stay.
The hotel has some of the best restaurants, bars and cafes in the same complex making it a great overall experience.

Breakfast was ok but lacked lacked imagination . We were there for three days and it could have been more interesting. The fruit plate in the room was wonderful .
There are so many spaces in the property and I think there is some room up above that could be used to sit at, play cards, hang out etc. so you aren't having to sit in the restaurant.

The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the decorations were great.
The breakfast was impressive.
The corners of the shower floor were not totally clean

Cool vintage design, high ceilings. Very good and extremely plentiful breakfast – one helping was enough for two people. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to get from/to airport. Several (but expensive) restaurant options in the hotel complex, but there are also local authentic restaurants nearby.
The hotel could have been more responsive and helpful in communications before our stay through the Booking.com messaging system and though email. Also during the stay we struggled a little to understand each other, but in the end everything worked out well. A bit of noise from the restaurant patio at night, but not too bad. Note that the free airport shuttle mentioned on the Booking.com page is no longer offered, but you can get a taxi to the airport for about 70 LE and it only takes 10–20 minutes.

everything! the best hotel we have been while in Egypt. nice stuff, great location in residential area and walkable area with good restaurants and nice things to visit around the venue

This is our favorite hotel in Heliopolis. Small and comfortable. This time we stayed in a suite and it was great, with a separate sitting area. Comfortable bed, beautifully furnished. We chose room service for breakfast because of the cold. It was wonderful. We ordered one Oriental and one Continental breakfast. Food was delicious, well seasoned, warm upon arrival. Portions were too large to eat it all. Carlos restaurant serves delicious food, in a comfortable setting, whether indoor or out, with attentive and helpful staff. Above all the staff at this hotel make this place excellent: friendly, welcoming, and accommodating,
More coffee for breakfast.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff very friendly. It's an old villa close to public transport and nice restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the room was large.
The wifi wasn't strong enough to do anything but checking messages.
On weekends the restaurants/ bars in the patio play loud music so don't expect to sleep before 1am.

location and style.
Very noisy, old windows with no insulation.

Nothing
Rude personal, the hotel located upon the club and restaurant. So it very loud and smokey. The personal would help us during our trip. Manager send us back so we must find another hotel instead of this one.Hotel have very unfair exchange rates, they try to rob you. Totally unrecommended.

great location and very well maintained property.
Compact rooms but good enough for short stays.
Very helpful staff
Restaurants just below the hotel are extremely noise until 2 AM and made it difficult to sleep.
The property managers should sound proof the rooms.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. they had a welcoming Fruit bowl, complimentary water, and a mini bar at
extra charge. The area is lively with restaurants, breakfast was served at Carlos, an adjacent restaurant, offering continental or oriental choice, both options were very generous with the portions. Staff was attentive and polite.

the property is beautiful, clean and the staff is polite and friendly- the rooms are exceptionally well designed and it felt like the best hotel we stayed at in cairo
however, my room was right next to the adjoining nightclub, and I didn’t get a lot of sleep while staying at this hotel. my parents room was on the other side of the hotel and they had no issues with the sound

Clean and classy. Many places to hangout. Night spots a few meters away. Cozy rooms
Noisy sometimes form pubs around it at night. specifically at weekends.

Lovely hotel with period charm. Very comfortable bed and nice rooms. It's very well positioned to explore Heliopolis and beyond and it worked well for my work commute. The oriental breakfast is massive and will keep you going all day long!
The noise and music coming from the bars & restaurants in the courtyard kept me awake on one of the evenings I stayed. I imagine it's better in the rooms not facing the courtyard. I also had some issues with inconsistent water flow in the shower.
3.5 / 5.0
Modern look, clean sheets and towels
there is a bar/restaurant right below my room playing loud music until 1:30am

Location and the historical aspects.
The rooms could be better maintained.
