About this villa rental
As its name suggests, Del Sol is all about the sun: early morning sun streaming into three of the five bedrooms; the view of the sunset over the Atlantic from the other two bedrooms; the evening sun over the sea as seen through the pines on the eating terrace; and for the real sun worshippers, the roof-top that enjoys the sun all day, plus the panoramic views of the sea and pine forest. But there is a lot more of course: a private pathway down to the beach (150m); loads of space (230sqm, including a 70sqm open-plan living area); a nice fusion of modern and traditional Andalucía in the decoration; the best quality finishings (Miele kitchen appliances, king-size beds, luxury showers,…), and the sound of waves breaking on the beach.
Del Sol has been designed as a luxury holiday home and so as to make the very most of its unique setting and views. While the living areas are spacious and open-plan, and have been created with families and groups of friends in mind, each of the five bedrooms has its own terrace, balcony, or garden, meaning there is plenty of intimacy too, when you want it. From the parking area at the end of the quiet cul-de-sac (shared with the two neighbouring houses), you can either turn right and follow the private path down to the beach or turn left into the garden. A traditional wooden front door takes you into the entrance hall with a bedroom suite on either side. And if you walk straight on, you enter the fabulous 50sqm open-plan sitting/dining/kitchen area. This is connected by sliding glass doors to a 20sqm covered terrace beyond, creating what is effectively a 70sqm living area; cool and breezy in summer months, and warm and cozy in the winter thanks to the open fire and glass. Beyond is a lovely 10x4 metre pool. The sun-lounger area at one end, together with the eating terrace and its large built-in barbecue, are protected by a large wall from any unwelcome levante wind, and they enjoy a soothing view of the sea through the pines.
The first floor is home to the other three bedrooms (two en suite and one with its own separate bathroom). Two have large balconies and views to the sea, and the other (even larger) faces east, enjoying the morning sun. If you step out on to the terrace from the landing, a traditional whitewashed staircase takes you up to a wonderful roof terrace. Look west and you have superb views of the sea and the Island of Sancti Petri; look east, and the Roche pine forest forms a wonderful carpet of green below you. The view is arguably even better at night; an unpolluted night sky and the twinkling lights of the shipping entering and leaving The Strait of Gibraltar.
A walk of about 300m will take us to the local shop, pharmacy, a couple of bars and restaurants, and childrens’ playground. Roche also has its own tennis and padel courts and five-a-side football pitches. In the summer months, there are several beach bars/restaurants to choose from within walking distance, some of which are now staying open all year. A 5-minute drive will then provide you with a far larger selection of both bars and restaurants. The area offers an endless list of activities and if you book with us, we provide you with detailed information on all our recommendations, details on local amenities, and our up-to-date guide to the best of everything! You could spend a wonderful holiday here without a car, and just hire bikes; but, assuming you will have a car, it’s 15 minutes to Conil, 20 minutes to the hill-top village of Vejer-de-la-Frontera, 30 minutes to Cadiz, 40 minutes to Tarifa and Jerez, and 90 minutes to Seville, all of which are well worth visiting.

Situated in a quiet urbanised and very safe location the property is visually beautiful with every appliance you could wish for available. Lots of space for everyone to be social and communal or to enjoy private reading/ resting in different terraces or on the roof.
We loved the private beach access and thoroughly enjoyed the beach bar to watch the surfers and the amazing sunsets.
Andrew and Marias communication was excellent and were on hand throughout stay to deal with any questions and to successfully locate a wallet we lost during our stay.
Off season there are not many restaurants in walking distance and Spanish meal times can be a challenge with a young family. ( many restaurants serve til 3 pm then reopen at 8.00pm)

For a family of 11, with 5 children, this was an ideal holiday choice. The pool, the proximity to the beach and the spacious accommodation all helped to make this a wonderfully relaxed holiday. Andrew and Maria could not have been more helpful in the run up to our stay and when the air conditioning developed a problem- speedily fixed.

Perfect Family Vacation
This is an incredible property, just perfect for our family vacation. The rooms are beautiful, the location and proximity to the beach is fantastic. There are many beautiful details and fixtures in the house. We have stayed here twice now and definitely plan to return. Thank you Andrew and María!

Superb house that’s very well equipped and ideally suited for a family or friends
Nice quiet location and just a 2 mins walk to Roche beach with a bar/restaurant.
Andrew and Maria are great hosts and all communication was very professional.
The house has great space, both indoor and outdoor and has everything you need for a perfect family beach holiday.

Great location and perfect house
Stayed mid May, house and location great, Andrew was very helpful in arriving with a corkscrew on the 1st night which could have been a calamity! House has everything you need, private and very easy access to the beach. We will be back.
