Quaint cottage at the base of the mountains. Very comfortable, clean and warm even during the depths of winter. Location great to visit the wineries and use the bike trails. A little remote however for evening meals. We ended up going to Arrowtown which is lovely with great restaurant options, about a 15 minute drive . Would recommend for those looking for an alternative experience to a motel or hotel .

An amazing cottage in very beautiful surroundings. Perfect for my wife and I to have a weekend of peace and quiet, with a few winery’s thrown in. Gibbston Valley is often driven through. But now I might stop to enjoy it a bit more often The peace and quiet, bike tracks, history, people and of course the wine.

On arrival to this property, from opening the main gate and driving down the driveway, we knew we were set for an amazing stay. The surrounding land is so beautifully kept and the cottage garden just gorgeous. Inside the cottage, as you walk through the stable split door you are met with homliness and comfort. Everything at your fingertips! Every bit of this cottage was perfect. To sit in front of the open fire as it crackles away, with a cheese platter and a glass of red was perfect after a day out at Wanaka wayching the air show.
It was sad to leave here but we will be back from Australia and will definitely stay again. Thank you to the wonderful hosts, ......and not to mention Lily the labrador who came to make sure we were ok each afternoon!!! Thank you so much!!!

The cottage was just perfect - close enough to everything for access - but far enough away for peace and quiet. Cozy, comfortable, beautiful spot - we loved it and were sad to leave.

This is a beautiful cottage. Location is perfect for touring vineyards, in fact we walked to a few. Stocked with everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing stay.
Matt and Lisa were very attentive without being intrusive. Check in was easy even although we arrived earlier that expected. Visits from Lily the lab were always fun.
Would stay again in a heartbeat.
