About this apartment rental

This apartment for 4 persons has a size of 96 square meters (1.033 sq. ft.) and a terrace of 36 square meters (388 sq. ft.). It consists of: 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and a terrace over viewing the sea and Mt. Etna. It is provided with washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven and microwave oven, satellite TV, safe, telephone, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, ironing equipment, hairdryer, coffee maker and toaster. Table, chairs and sunbeds are on the terrace.
Baby coat and baby chair are available on request.
The Penthouse and the other 5 apartments of the Residence are located on a small hill in a residential area in Taormina, only 4 minutes walking distance from central Corso Umberto (pedestrian area of Taormina), and 3 minutes only from the supermarket and the nearest restaurants.
Taxi service also available on request from or to Catania airport by Minivan, max 5 persons, 100.00 Euro, from 6 to 8 persons by minibus 130.00 Euro.
Parking Information:
Inside of the Residence we have a small parking area for 2 cars and on request a space can be reserved at the price of 10 Euro a day, otherwise is possible to park in the 24/7 municipal multi-storey car park of Porta Catania which is located just before the entrance of Taormina and at a 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Due the narrow roads of Taormina and our own small parking area, for clients arriving with big cars we suggest this last solution.
I live in one apartment of the Residence, I will be here on your arrival and during your stay I will be always available for information’s and any kind of assistance

An amazing apartment that felt like home from home. We loved the view of Etna and the sea. The location was great just minutes from all the delights of Taormina. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The host, the home, the location, and the beautiful sorroundings were second to none. Our host was amazing. We've never experienced such a thoughtful host. The home was perfect, beautiful and in a great location. Imagine being steps from a charming market and the main walk in Taormina, but with peace and quiet. The views from the apartment were spectacular. We would love to stay again!

This apartment is in a great location for those who want a fabulous view, closeness to the main part of town and don’t want a hotel but a home. We had a rental car and for a small extra fee they provided parking. This is important since parking In Taormina is difficult.

The location was perfect. The view of the ocean and Mt Etna could not have been better. The property was very clean. Look no further and book this property, as you won’t be disappointed. I would definitely stay here again.

The flat was lovely, well stocked with all necessities and perfect for two couples. The terrace however made our holiday very special. Spacious terrace with amazing views of both the sea and Mount Etna. We had sunny skies for most of our stay and we could not get enough of Both the sea and Etna….the unusual smoke rings were evident several times. The city sites were also very close by. We definitely recommend this property!

Claudio was a gracious host, promptly helping us with recommendations and logistics. The apartment was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our long stay. Location is convenient to shopping, grocery store, restaurants. But the best part is the spectacular view! We would definitely stay again.

We stayed in "The Penthouse" at Residence Schuler for three nights. It was a great place to stay as it was very clean, had amazing views on the terrace and was only a 5 minute walk from Porta Catania - one of the main entrances to the main street Corso Umberto. Claudio is very attentive and ready to help as he lives in the building. We parked in the parking garage Parcheggio Porta Catania and walked up the hill to the apartment - a bit of a climb with luggage. This is definitely a great place to stay when you visit Taormina.

The Penthouse at Residence Schuler is truly a gem and I highly recommend staying there if you are traveling to Taormina. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. The apartment is beautifully furnished and clean, and it’s in a great location. Shops, restaurants, and grocery store all within a very short walk. And Claudio, the host, is always available if you need him. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

We came to Taormina after completing a ten day tour of northern Italy. We were tired and in need of some down time and relaxation. Schuler's penthouse apartment was just the ticket we needed. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, well organized and the view from the terrace was spectacular!!! Claudio was available at all times for any of our needs. He gave us great recommendations and was all around perfect host. We were very sad to leave Residence Schuler and will definitely be back. It was the perfect home away from home and we will never forget our stay there!! Bravo Claudio for maintaining such a beautiful space for travelers to enjoy!!! It definitely deserves five stars!!!!

The VIEW, the patios, the location is all AMAZING Our family stayed in two apartments, apartment D and the penthouse. We all LOVED our stay at the Schuler Apartments. The penthouse had a larger patio and more modern updates. Apartment D was very nice too. Both had great air conditioning, comfortable beds and everything you needed for a great stay. It was easy to get to town in 5 min walk, close to grocery store, cafes, restaurants and taxis. Claudio was a kind, responsive and helpful host. He helped us with car transfers too from Catania airport. I would recommend these apartments to anyone.

This was one of those spectacular VRBO experiences. The unit was large, had a modern well-equipped kitchen, 2 modern bathrooms, 2 large bedrooms with comfortable beds and soft linens, dining room and living room looking out onto the gorgeous large terrace ... which has an amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea, the coast, and Mount Etna!!! The view is astounding! The location is superb; very close to a substantial grocery store, incredible restaurants, and shops on the historic and lively Corso Umberto . I'm a hiker and could easily walk to Castelmola, the city above Taormina, and beyond. Claudio was so kind, helpful , and organized when checking us in and helping us during our stay. A perfect host. An aside, this unit has large sliding doors onto large patios, with SCREENS! This is the first property in Europe that we have stayed in that had screens on the windows, sliders.. so we could have everything open and enjoy the fresh air. The bedrooms also have their own nicely working air conditioners, as does the living room. The unit is quiet, private, and beautiful yet close walking distance to all of the Taormina sights . A Perfect Stay!

We loved this apartment! Location, the beautiful apartment and the attentiveness of the owner. Everything was more than we could have expected. The apartment was immaculate, Claudio was so helpful, kind and generous. The View of the sea and Mt. Etna is so amazing - you have to see it to believe it. It will take your breath away. And the convenience of the location is so appreciated. You will understand when You get to Taormina. Literally 4 minutes from great restaurants, a grocery store and the port of Catania. We were able to Park at the property, parking is limited so request a space if you have a car. This is an amazing apartment- don't pass it up.

This property is truly lovely and has breathtaking views on the large patio and from all the windows and doors. It is clean, comfortable, quiet and air conditioned. We did walk to the market and then cook a few dinners that we enjoyed on the patio. The location to the main street and restaurants is also pretty good. It's challenging to drive a car anywhere in this neighborhood, so once we parked the car...we didn't use it every day. The bath amenities are light but I guess that is sometimes common. Bring bath soap and tissue. Extra bed pillows would make the stay even better. If the owner could provide a little more assistance on recommendations for favorite restaurants, the possibilities at the local beaches and nearby places to visit it would be helpful. Very pleased overall and we would stay here again! Thank you Claudio Schuler!

Cannot say enough about the place! Everything was beautiful and clean. Had every convenience! Mr. Schuler was a perfect host and helped with getting a taxi when we needed one. Impeccable/ beautiful location & service. The apartment was beautifully decorated & sparking clean with a well- equipped kitchen. Tons of water pressure & hot water for 2 bathrooms. The view was breathtaking of Mt. Aetna, the Ionian Sea , and the town of Taormina with surrounding hills. The owner, Claudio, was a perfect host who went out of his way for us.

Wir sind sehr Zufrieden mit dem Penthouse welches wir gebucht haben. Es verfügt über einen Traumhaften Ausblick aufs Meer und Etna Sehr zentral zur Fußgängerzone und Supermarkt, man sollte trotzdem gut zu Fuss sein. Unser Vermieter Herr Schuler hat uns sehr freundlich Empfangen und stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite Shuttlebus Service zum Strand und Parkplatz wurde alles von Herr Schuler erledigt. Ausstattung sehr komfortabel mit allem was benötigt wird. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bedanken uns recht Herzlich und kommen gerne wieder
