Cottage agréable à l’intérieur , un peu isolé, mais tres pratique pour visiter le Nord des Cotswolds

Joli petit cottage typiquement anglais avec une décoration un peu à l’ancienne mais jolie. Tous les équipements sont en bon état. Le lieu est très calme la nuit malgré le passage de voitures devant la maison.

Le cottage est au bord d’une petite route d’un côté et ne dispose que d’un tout petit bout de pelouse derrière, donc pas vraiment d’endroit pour se mettre dehors. Impossibilité de mettre un peu de chauffage le matin et le soir notamment dans la salle de bain qd la température était fraîche. Il y a un thermostat connecté mais impossible de le faire marcher. Nous avons demandé à l’agence de nous aider à le régler mais n’avons jamais eu la réponse promise. Les anglais semblent avoir une tolérance au froid supérieure à la notre et peut être que notre demande leur paraissait incongrue. Nécessite une voiture pour faire les courses et peu de grands supermarchés dans les environs proches seulement qq commerces de base. Le pub à côté accessible à pied est fermé pour travaux mais par contre deux autres très bons pubs pour y manger dans les environs en voiture.

Ok for a short stay, but not memorable.

Characterful features, enclosed garden was good for our dog

Pub in the village , mentioned in overview as a feature has been closed for over 18 months after a fire! The bed was very uncomfortable, the whole property would benefit from being updated and decorated as it is looking a little tired.

Nice homely and dog friendly property near Chipping Camden

Homely property in the Cotswolds close to Chipping Camden. Good comfy lounge and three decent sized bedrooms. Dog friendly with a safe enclosed garden.

Dining area was in the kitchen and quite tight for space.

A well equipped and comfortable cottage

Liked the quiet location and facilities in the cottage.

The shower drain was partially blocked and a lamp base was broken upon arrival. Not really a problem to us but would have liked a way or reporting these minor issues for future attention. The loft double bedroom needs a degree of mobility to access but as long as you're aware of this, it's a great space.

good local gastro pub a few minutes walk away

access to the second floor bedroom is very dangerous with extremely low beams and a steep staircase which caused a number of banged heads during our stay! the outside light didn’t work and a few larger pint glasses in the kitchen wouldn’t go a miss!
