The house has several spaces to relax: from the living rooms on the ground floor, dominated by the large fireplace, to the old chamber, which has been transformed into a multi-purpose room. The kitchen has all the necessary accessories for the total comfort of the guests who can choose between the American kitchen bar, the dining table or the garden porch for meals.
Of typical Valencian construction, the elements of construction and decoration that adorn it transport you to another era: the wonderful coffered ceilings, its doors with beautiful stained glass windows, its stately lamps, its antique furniture, the hydraulic floors and the magnificent staircase. Pedreguer is located at the foot of the mountains in a large valley of orange trees that overlooks the sea and is dominated by the imposing Montgó, which is a Natural Park. Very close to the house we have supermarkets, pharmacies and other stores as well as bars and restaurants that offer tapas and quality dishes.
The town is strategically located in the beautiful region of La Marina Alta, putting at your disposal a wide range of possibilities in relation to the sea, the countryside, the mountains, leisure, gastronomy and healthy life:
- Beaches: Las Marinas beach (Dénia) is the closest to only 8 kilometers from Pedreguer. The beaches and coves of Dénia, Jávea / Xábia, Benissa, Calpe and Oliva are famous. You can choose between extensive sandy areas or small coves.
- Activities of sea and coast: There are abundant activities that can be performed such as snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, paddle surfing, kite surfing, coastal walks and excursions to places with spectacular views of the coast . There are marinas for more nautical activities in Dénia, Jávea / Xábia and Calpe.
- Activities in the valley and the mountain: Innumerable are the routes of hiking that the region lodges, including several that start from the same Pedreguer. To start, the region has three Natural Parks to visit: the Montgó (the climb to this mountain located between Dénia and Jávea / Xábia is emblematic), the Pego marsh (an ideal place for ornithological lovers) and the Rock of Ifach (in Calpe, the most visited Natural Park of the Valencian Community). In addition, you can walk among orange and fruit trees, follow paths through ravines (such as the spectacular route known as "the cathedral of the steps"), make beautiful mountain tours (for example, the Bernia mountains, the Cavall Verd and the Segaria ) and visit gardens (such as the Mediterranean Garden of l'Albarda, in the same municipality of Pedreguer). There are also many places to practice climbing as well as interesting caves.
- Golf: For lovers of this sport, there are several options. La Sella Golf, in Jesús Pobre, is only 6 km away. Also accessible are the Oliva Nova Golf Club and the Jávea / Xábia Golf Club.
- Cycling: There are routes to do exclusively by bike or on foot (the green route of Dénia, for example), countless routes through the valley (with the distinctive bicycle route) and interesting mountain roads. In fact, Marina Alta is one of the preferred destinations for bicycle lovers in Europe.
- Riding: There are several equestrian centers in the region that offer horseback riding.
- Cultural activities: There are many charming towns and landscapes to visit and with historical interest. There are remains of the Iberian culture (in several mountains), Roman, Arabic and Mozarabic.
- Therapeutic activities: The region welcomes all kinds of alternative therapies to take care of the body and mind (for example, in the same town we have the Spiral Naturopathy Center). A place that may also be interesting is the Sakya Foundation, an international center of Tibetan Buddhist teachings located in the municipality of Pedreguer.
- The gastronomy of the area has been internationally recognized as Dénia, the capital of the region, as a Gastronomic City of UNESCO. In the same Pedreguer you will also find a quality offer in tapas and typical dishes of the region.
- Finally, for shopping and leisure, the La Marina Shopping Center offers the possibility of enjoying cinema and puts shops and restaurants at your disposal.
