Our group of 8 spanning all ages had a great stay at this property. The hosts were very responsive with any questions or needs and provided good restaurant/activity suggestions as well. Location is great for Bolton Landing.

What a beautiful property. The property is well-kempt and is very easy to get from place to place from that location. There were 8 of us and a dog. Everyone had their own space and were were comfortable. It is very close to everything in the Village and a short drive to Lake George Village. The patio area is perfect for grilling. There was a storm one night and the house lost power. However, there is a whole house generator which saved the day. What a great amenity. The property owners were very communicative and made sure our stay was a nice one. Would highly recommend the property and the owners.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House is spacious, loved the hot tub and fire pit. Close to town. Owners were great! Would recommend staying here.

My wife took me and our children, spouse's and granddaughter to celebrate my 60th bday. The place was exactly as advertised. I was in contact with the owner Mike, to iron out a few wrinkles on the 2nd day that were immediately addressed. Great place!!

We had a very nice stay with family for my daughter’s baby shower. House was clean and has enough space for all of us. The owners were responsive and accommodating! Restaurants are close which was also a positive.

Great location close to Lake George. House was as described. The host was responsive and very communicative, checking in quite often. The bathrooms and kitchens could have been better stocked with essentials (more garbage bags, dishwasher pods) as we had to buy them ourselves.

We frequently vacation in Lake George it is our happy place and this time was no exception. The house was great, clean, fully stocked, amazing views, fantastic fireplace, comfortable beds, the list goes on and on. We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to come back! We brought friends with us who have never been to the lake and they fell in love. We will be back in the summer and we will definitely being staying at Camp Hope again!!

Eclectic and quaint stay at Camp Hope. We really enjoyed the ambiance at the house and were delighted to have Christmas tree and lights to enjoy. Hot tub was a major plus.

If you’re looking for a getaway in Lake George look no further than Camp Hope. Cozy describes the Camp in a word. There is plenty of room to spread out and find you own space. The sun room with bar and living room with fireplace were our favorites. A beautiful stone fireplace sets the mood and keeps the chill off the day or night. The hot tub is top end and is very well maintained. New Year’s Eve fireworks were a bonus while hot tubbing. Beds are very comfortable and having three bathrooms is definitely a plus. Bolton Landing Brewery is just two minutes away.
Stewarts is just a minute away. We recommend their firewood. Dry and a generous amount for short money. The owners were available to answer any question
I could go on but I think you get the feel. Don’t hesitate to rent this property.

Booked a three night stay with my family and a friends family and we were allowed to bring our dogs! We always say that the dogs need a vacation too since they are also family.
Arrived to the house and was able to check in a little bit early. Reached out to Mary as I had a few questions and she called me back in minutes. Mike was extremely responsive as well along with living close and came to say hello a few times. Extremely nice couple.
The house is beautiful and so are the views. Spacious for all six of us and the dogs. Fireplace, two wood burning stoves and a pellet stove. Firewood was also left for us. The kids also loved the hot tub out front. We did have some rain and fog but it was still breathtaking. My husband took the kids skiing and I went hiking with friends along with all of us enjoying the great restaurants and town of Bolton Landing.
We will definitely be back, maybe even this winter.! Highly recommend and looking forward to having another great time soon!

We set up a girls trip for the weekend of the Balloon Festival and we were lucky enough to find this place. However, due to the weather the balloon festival wasn’t the greatest but we still had an amazing time at the house. The owners had great communication with us and making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely set up another trip to the area and stay here again.

This house was everything we had hoped it would be for our family vacation and all our expectations were met! The hot tub, fire pit & outside dining areas were a favorite for our little family reunion. It’s in the perfect location, minutes from the adorable town of Bolton Landing & a short drive from Lake George village. Mary & Mike were the perfect hosts, easy check-in process, great communication & a thoughtful welcome basket of goodies. It was a treasured week of memories not soon forgotten.

We had a fantastic stay at Cape Hope. Camp Hope’s owners are very kind, helpful and responsive. We are very grateful for this since they accommodated and helped us make the best out of an unfortunate airline debacle to rescue a summer vacation for my family. The house is in a nice spot a very short drive from Bolton Landing and the public park & beach. Our family loved both! Although the distance from the house is walkable to town & the lake, we chose to drive for safety reasons (walking on the road’s shoulder makes me nervous). The house is well stocked with what you need to cook at home and not have to pack bulky items such sheets & towels. This is a huge plus for larger families. Cleanup directions were standard and reasonable to complete when it was time to leave. The care package, stay book and goodies left for us was super helpful and very thoughtful. We look forward to visiting again.

Had a very nice weekend with family at this lovely home. Check in was easy, hosts were attentive and got right back to us with any questions we had. Location is great, close enough to everything but still quiet and semi private. Everyone had a great time!

We enjoyed the property so much we ended up staying an additional night! The house was so welcoming. The owners were easy to stay in contact with during the entire stay. There was one problem we encountered during our stay (not the fault of anyone!) and they were quick and on it and had it fixed! I would highly suggest this rental for anyone looking into that area!

Great location. Close enough to explore town but far enough away for privacy. Very unique house with a lot of room for a good size group of people.

The home was located close to town by a town beach and boat rentals. The lake is beautiful. The hot tub and fire was a nice place to hang out at night. Had a terrific time.

Great property, roomy, location
Everything was as advertised. Plenty of room, the hot tub was excellent. A great location, so quick to get anywhere. House stayed cool thanks to the AC's. Upstairs is a great addition for our older children. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

Great Weekend Getaway
My family and I had a great weekend relaxing and enjoying what the property and the nearby town had to offer. The hot tub was great to relax in and the kitchen was well equipped for a great family meal. We had a great movie night while a fire going in the fireplace kept us warm.

Great house and even better location
Had a blast over new years in this quirky but spacious property. Lot's of room for our family to spread out (and gave the kids the run of the upstairs to give us some space). Fire going the entire time and the hot tub was perfect; all in all could not have asked for more.

Cozy and convenient
This was a cozy place to stay in the winter weather with a warm central fireplace, several wood burning stoves, outdoor fire pit, hot tub, and grill. Mary and Michael were very friendly and attentive to our questions and offered helpful information about the area. They provided dry firewood which was most welcoming. The location is convenient to town and to the beautiful Lake George area. We'd like to return!

We felt so welcomed when we arrived
We needed a place to stay last minute. Mary & Michael were so accomodating to my family. The kids enjoyed the yard and the Hot Tub was a bonus! The fireplace we used that night and it was so cozy. They had a little care package bag for us when we arrived. The house easily accommodated my family and the beds were warm and comfortable. Mary and Michael checked in with us to make sure we were settled in. They spent the time to show us how to work the Hot tub and even brought some dry wood for us! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back!

The space itself is wonderful. The expectations from the property owner and personal attacks after our stay were not unfortunately. 2 members of our group work in the high end rental market and gave the condition of the house upon our exit their professional stamp of approval. But i think the misunderstanding for us was the owners expect you to clean the the property completely, even more so than how we found it, in an effort to save money on a cleaning service or look for an avenue to immediately revoke our security deposit, which they told us they would be doing.
We have never left a property in an unfit condition and we left believing we had done everything correctly but according to the completely inappropriate and personal texts, that wasn't the case. Not only were we accused of things that were not true but my character as a person was immediately attacked by the owners via texts which was completely uncalled for and frankly highly offensive. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but tread lightly with this home and be prepared to act as the cleaning crew prior to check out.
I sincerely wish this was all handled differently and I wish the owners nothing but the best.

Bolton Landing NY
Poorly maintained; bathroom fixtures needed repair; carpets were dirty and require deep cleaning; found spiders in beds. Upstairs bathroom too tiny for adults and not so safe even for kids; collected cleaning fee but expected guests to clean!

Great getaway in the mountains
My friends and I were looking for a getaway in the mountains in the winter and to do some skiing. This place was perfect for that. We really enjoyed the house. It had tons of space, even more than we needed. It was about 35-40 minutes from Gore Mountain. Everything was as advertised. Owners were ready to help out in any way. We really enjoyed the hot tub which was amazing in the dead of winter. Highly recommend!

Great area house needs CLEANING and updating!
The owners were wonderful. The location was perfect the hot tub fabulous. The house was not clean to the extent that the drawer under the oven was filled with mouse turds. I don’t believe it is possible that the owners don’t know there’s a mouse problem but perhaps they’re unaware. We did not reach out to the owners regarding the cleanliness during our vacation and are sure they would have done something if we had. However at that point you want to enjoy your family versus having people come through the house and try and clean it when your expectation is the house is cleaned prior to you renting. The oven mitts need to be thrown out. The shower curtain is all moldy and needs to be thrown out. The upstairs bathroom is not usable unless you’re under 5 feet tall. The door on the upstairs bathroom is a barn door theoretically but there’s no bottom track and there’s no stop so it keeps going and I actually thought someone was going to get hurt. The floors are not level which is no big deal the house is old could be super cozy. However, because it’s not level the refrigerator is not level and therefore items on the top shelf just slides forward though it gets better as the shelves get lower. This is just not safe. The garbage cans are too small and were at least halfway filled when we got there so we had no spot to put our garbage. There are two kitchens which sounds lovely but neither one has any counter space. The kitchen downstairs has a big table which negates any room in the downstairs kitchen. The upstairs bathroom has no working electricity. The throw rugs need to be thrown out they are filthy. One shelf in the pantry is literally being held up by a screwdriver jammed into the shelf and side board. At that point just remove the shelf? There is no Lakeview that we were able to see so if it exists it’s very tiny LOL. The butterfly bushes outback are beautiful and the dozens of butterflies kept our granddaughter very entertained. The sun porch was a great runway for our little one. We enjoyed tennis, walks into town, brunch on the lake and miniature golf. Always nice to spend time with family and wouldn’t trade a second but would never rent here again way too DIRTY!

Extended Weekend Away
We usually travel a lot, but with the virus this was our first trip away from home this year. The property was very clean and we felt very comfortable staying. We brought our own pillows and towels as we always do. Mike the owner was very obliging and even gave us a great tour of Lake George on his boat. Would surely recommend this home.
